Check in was slow as there was only one receptionist behind the desk & many guests trying to check in. Bar closed at 9pm so after our concert we could not get a nightcap at the hotel. TV in our room did not work.

Recently renovated. Great hotel and clean!!! Staff were attentive and polite! Valet is $55/night and there is a $75 incidental hold per night. I didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant but I heard it was good! I Would stay here again.

Very convenient to the concert we went to at the arena. We were able to get snacks in the lobby afterwards and order DoorDash late night. Dunkin' Donuts was across the street for morning breakfast. The wine happy hour is a huge bonus and coffee/tea in the morning. Our room was big and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to get to and easy to navigate leaving the city. Valet was quick and easy too, right out front. I would definitely recommend.

Great stay at the hotel for a event at the CFG Center that a block away. The parking valet guys very nice and helpful. Only thing i can complain about is no vending machines in the building for drinks.

Likes-pet friendly, kid friendly. We were a little disappointed that many of amenities we had enjoyed in previous stays were no longer available but is likely because of COVID and the economy. However, the cost reflected such. (vs. businesses that charge you the same or more for less). The staff was extremely friendly. The room was a great size for 4 people. It needed minor repairs (large split in the carpet, broken drawer in the bunk bed, scrapes on furniture) but for the price it did not bother me. They do however need to either extend the glass walls in the showers or add shower curtains. The short glass walls do not prevent water from getting all over the marble floors in the bathroom which meant we had to mop up water with towels after each shower to avoid slipping hazards. Morning coffee was high grade but wished it was in the hotel lobby instead of in the restaurant. Minor issues, but would stay here again.

Room was clean and the lobby beautiful. They allowed us to check in early which was a plus. However, AC intermittently stops working. The toiletry very basic, no cotton balls or q-tips, a bar soap and shampoo. House keeping inconsistent, we stayed 3 nights. The 1st night they cleaned and on the 2 night we asked why house keeping didn’t clean. They said we have to request by 1 pm, we were never told this. Good thing when the housekeeper came by to drop off towels, they offered to clean which was nice. The TV didn’t work as well but we don’t really watch TV so we didn’t complain about this. Overall it’s a beautiful but old building, Kimpton has updated the furnishing and they always do a good job with that. Parking is valet only and it’s about $50 a day so be prepared for that. We didn’t walk outside the hotel but it’s not a far drive from tourist spots. It was a comfortable staybut customer service is definitely lacking.

Our stay got off to a rough start because the first room we were given was really dirty — mismatched yellow towels, random hairs in the bed (which we found while checking for pests), and lots of dusty spots that should have been cleaned more thoroughly. Thankfully, the staff was responsive and moved us to a different room, which was much better. Once settled, we appreciated the comfortable setup and dog-friendly vibe inside the hotel. It’s a sensible place for traveling with pets — inside feels safe and calm — but outside can feel a little dodgy, especially at night. The in-room amenities and coffee/tea setup were just okay, and we didn’t get to try the evening wine reception. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor — you can take the elevator or a set of stunning (but steep and possibly slippery) marble stairs. I recommend the elevator. Security is visible, which was reassuring — one guard even had to step in when someone bothered us outside. Walking dogs in the area isn’t ideal, and the second-floor lobby setup also makes deliveries a little awkward, so it helps to coordinate with the front desk and drivers. Valet parking is a bit tight with limited space out front, but overall, the hotel is very convenient if you’re heading to events at the downtown arena.

The building and decor is quite nice but one of the towels was stained and the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. The food at the restaurant was average and very expensive for the dishes. $41 for crab cakes? And they were out of one of the dishes. Out of cherries for the cocktail. For breakfast the eggs were overdone but the bread wasn’t toasted. And, again, expensive for what you got. The service in the restaurant was very good, though.

The charging station on the night stand was sticky and gross My room phone did not work There was no bath mat Shower head was clogged Room safe was locked Really run down room - it did not live up to my expectations of a Kimpton Hotel - and certainly not acceptable at the rate I paid. IHC chat tried to be helpful Hotel staff was not and after stating they would check about compensation and let me know at checkout - no mention at all when I checked out. I will never stay at another Kimpton Hotel hotel

The overall building, and some of the staff were great here. The surrounding area was very sketchy, especially late at night. We paid for a room that was advertised to have a view of the water, there definitely was not one. Also, the room was nice, but considering the price it was extremely small. The best accommodation was the bed, it was very large and comfortable, but again considering the price there should’ve been more accommodations. When my wife and I checked in we were only given 1 wash cloth, and when I asked for the room to be cleaned the next day we were left with none when we returned. We also tried calling the front desk multiple times, and got no response, then, when we went down to the front desk, they were there, but just hadn’t answered the phone. Overall this hotel was nice but definitely needs to work on some things, I would not stay there again.

The overall building, and some of the staff were great here. The surrounding area was very sketchy, especially late at night. We paid for a room that was advertised to have a view of the water, there definitely was not one. Also, the room was nice, but considering the price it was extremely small. The best accommodation was the bed, it was very large and comfortable, but again considering the price there should’ve been more accommodations. When my wife and I checked in we were only given 1 wash cloth, and when I asked for the room to be cleaned the next day we were left with none when we returned. We also tried calling the front desk multiple times, and got no response, then, when we went down to the front desk, they were there, but just hadn’t answered the phone. Overall this hotel was nice but definitely needs to work on some things, I would not stay there again.

Beautiful hotel in a historic building. Loved it. The maid did not check the floor when cleaning, and I found a used cup and plastic pearl on the floor. Great service, otherwise. Rooms were decorated in art deco style which was lovely; however, it was weird that there was the ugliest garbage can in the bathroom that looked like something from Office Depot. Fantastic lighting.

Pretty hotel friendly staff in a good location; however the day before leaving we were out all day and night and came home to find the room was not cleaned and no towels for morning showers and needed to get to airport. Call desk at 9 pm no answer. they then called me and said they would send towels right away. One hour later and exhausted we were still waiting. Our reservation was for some reason canceled and the person at the desk tried to get everything correct. He apologized so much and got everything fixed. He gave us an upgrade for the issue. He was amazing. Everyone else that we dealt with were just great as well. The hotel was beautiful and we will stay there again whenever we go back! I’m sorry I don’t remember the guy that originally helped us! He should get an award or something for how much he worked on handling our problem. He went above and beyond. He truly did.

I always look for a Kimpton anytime I travel for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, this stay was different. The staff at the door did not help me get transportation to airport, I had to go to Marriott for help. The happy hour was sad.... wine in a plastic container at desk... it was like a ghost town. The pillows were all feather (I am allergic) 45 minutes to get new ones from a guy in a scary hoodie.. The TV did not work. If it was a family visit,, I would have switched hotels.

Check-in clerk was extremely rude! Hotel wasn’t clean, my room didn’t have any towels. I went down to ask the same rude clerk at check in about the towels and she gave me the biggest attitude. Felt like i was bugging her. Room was extremely dirty and very dated.

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco was a great place to stay during our quick trip to Baltimore. The location was great, we were able to walk all around the city - to the Orioles game, bars/restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, well designed and perfect for the weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful, and effecient. We look forward to staying here during our next trip to Baltimore.

Perfect location for the nights event. Literally walked about 2 blocks to the CFG Arena for a concert. The harbor and shops were a few blocks away as well. I was able to call down for a microwave and bath robes that were delivered to the room. Great place for an overnight stay for date night/weekend or girls night out.

The building and decor is quite nice but one of the towels was stained and the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. The food at the restaurant was average and very expensive for the dishes. $41 for crab cakes? And they were out of one of the dishes. Out of cherries for the cocktail. For breakfast the eggs were overdone but the bread wasn’t toasted. And, again, expensive for what you got. The service in the restaurant was very good, though.

Upon entering our room, we noticed that we had no hot water. A quick call to the front desk resulted in a prompt response and we were moved in a matter of minutes. The restaurant at the hotel came highly recommended and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. My advice….order the crab cakes!!! Delicious.

The building, especially the lobby, is beautiful. I don't think I've seen a staircase as gorgeous as their lobby's stairs. Staff was friendly and nice. Room was clean, big with high ceilings, and comfy king bed. The windows were not the most soundproof; you could hear a little bit of ruckus outside. But overall I slept great. Wish the room had bathrobes! Nice hotel though, and was happy with the price I paid. I would visit again.

After calling ahead to request early check in we arrived an hour early only to find out that they are not only NOT doing early check in but we were then delayed being able to check in for 3 hours. After waiting three hours in a hot lobby with my daughter and dog we finally got a room. The room thermostat did not work so we had no ac in the room. We later had to then switch to another room to have ac for the night. We will never visit this hotel again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kimpton Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor. Everyone was so friendly and my daughter and I were there for the BTS concert and we had a room with two king sized beds and they were so comfortable I didn’t want to leave lol. I highly recommend this hotel and if we are ever in Baltimore again we know where to stay.
