We loved this place! It looks just amazing and our room felt like our fantasy version of a bedroom in Morocco. The breakfast was delicious and the roof deck was lovely, as were the other common areas, all magically appointed. Alex and Yasmine were enthusiastic, helpful and really made us feel welcome and at home.

This is an amazing property. It is managed to perfection. The owner is helpful, attentive, and the staff are humble, friendly and caring. It is in an ideal setting. The building itself feels like a museum piece…decorated beautifully and the terrace has a wonderful view. There is a reason it gets consistently high reviews. Thank you Yasmine and the Calife Team!! Beautiful riad, tucked away in a side street. Slightly steep walk but fairly short from Cinema Amal (5 minutes). Very tastefully done, great attention to detail. Friendly staff, helpful with recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. Fabulous views from rooftop, enjoyed evening sitting out. Would highly recommend, great value for money. Would love to return one day. Only feedback would be re breakfast. More choice needed eg with fruits and types of omelette and also bakery selection. A selection to self-serve would work well in the lovely rooftop restaurant.

This is, hands down, one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed…period. The attention to detail in both the presentation and decoration of Riad Le Calife is beyond 5 star reviews. What Yasmine & Alex have created is an incredible oasis of comfort and serenity. It oozes tons of charm and sophistication at every turn. The rooftop views are incredible. The courtyard is beautiful. The bar was so cinematic that it felt like The Continental in a John Wick movie. The dining room views overlooking the Medina are stunning. The staff is amazing: Mohammed. Saida. Fatima. Said. They went above and beyond in order to create an incredibly welcoming environment from the moment we stepped out of our taxi and walked into the courtyard. They made us feel at home immediately. I can’t say enough about how absolutely wonderful our experience was staying here. It was hard to leave. Big thanks again to Yasmine and Alex!

Riad Calife is a wonderful little hotel in the old part of Fes. The property and rooms are beautifully decorated with a blend of Moorish and French architecture. The rooftop terrace and restaurant area offers a great view of the oldest part of the city. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

There is a zylion of ryid in Fes, and the choice was difficult. I picked road le Calife on a guess. I was so right, the place is beautiful, clean, quiet, charming, romantic. The service is implacabile. We stay in the Diamond suite, spacious, well equipped, amazing bed and bathroom. The staff is truly taking care of you. We stay first night for diner Friday is couscous, and a real excelent one. The gray win was good too. Breakfast is nice with a view from the roof top. Finally Alex the owner knows Fes by heart, and can give you all the good addresses or book a guided tour. We will be back, that's for sure. And look on the website or call Alex for a discounted rate compared to major platforms

Beautiful, and beautifully decorated riad. The rooms are spacious and special. Indoor / outdoor rooftop space affords spectacular views in a luxurious setting. Fava bean & split pea soup a standout among excellent breakfast options. Bravo!

Alex & Jasmine are wonderful, they set us up with a fantastic guide for our first full day in Fez. Had their lovely staff escort us to help get our Petite Taxis, scheduled an unbelievable Hammam/Massage experience as well as a wonderful dinner for two on their rooftop terrace in house restaurant. Can not recommend Riad le Calife highly enough 11/10 Stars!!!

Alex & Jasmine are wonderful, they set us up with a fantastic guide for our first full day in Fez. This is a beautifully renovated old riad in the Fes medina. The staff and management are wonderful and made us feel very cared for. We received great advice on how to optimize our time in the medina and restaurant options outside of the riad. Riad Le Calife's food is also excellent. The rooms are very comfortable as are the common areas such as the courtyard and dining rooms. Its location is very good as well with quick access to car-accessible streets and cabs. We highly recommend a stay at Riad Le Calife

Everything was incredible! The Riad itself was beautiful - the rooms, the reception, the courtyard, all of it. The employees are lovely, and the owner Alex was incredibly kind. We had a great conversation with him about the Riads history, and Morocco itself, and appreciated the extra effort that we could tell he puts in for his guests. The location itself is great as well. You owe it to yourself to have the welcome dinner; Chef Fatima is incredible. In our 12 days in Morocco, the two dinners that we had at the restaurant were our favorite meals. Not only is the food great, but the views of Fes from the restaurant are incredible as well.

Excellent property for a stay in the old medina. Staff and service was all excellent as well. We enjoyed the breakfast upstairs. Room was very clean and convenient in all respects.

Utrolig vakker Riad med kun 8 rom. Lå som en rolig oase i en yrende Fez. Deilig å kunne komme tilbake til etter spennende men også slitsomme opplevelser gjennom dagen. Vi ble veldig godt ivaretatt av personale og eier hele døgnet- følte oss veldig velkommen. God mat og godt vedlikehold i gammel stil. Hvis det er noe vi kunne ønsket bedre, så er litt kraftigere wi-fi. Men alt i alt hadde vi et deilig og fantastisk opphold på Riad’en

An incredible riad - don’t hesitate in booking your stay here. Alex and jasmine are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond. It’s made my future stays in Marrakesh difficult - the standard is now so high! From the room to the rooftop terrace, everything is wonderful. Breakfast is excellent and I’d encourage anyone to have dinner there one night. Do take into consideration the riad is around 20 min walk to the main dining options. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Riad le Calife is a great place to stay. The owners/staff will do EVERYTHING possible they can to maximize your fes experience! The property including the rooms are renovated in stunning archetypical moroccan decor. Those prople with any mobility issue should request a room on a lower floor.

Absolutely an amazing property! Was in awe from the lobby, to the room (Topaze) to the rooftop and dining. This Riad did not disappoint and Yasmine/Alex and the staff- especially Sayid- were fantastic. They did everything to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable time in Fes. They met our van upon arrival , made us dinner reservations and had staff walk us to the Taxi area when we left. Could not have chosen a nicer option. Fully earned the 5star review.

You owe it to yourself to have the welcome dinner; Chef Fatima is incredible. In our 12 days in Morocco, the two dinners that we had at the restaurant were our favorite meals. Not only is the food great, but the views of Fes from the restaurant are incredible as well.

Staying here was a great experience. I havent stayed anywhere that i like more. The oroperty including rooms, restaurant and rooftop were beautiful. And the hospitality and care were off the charts. + Bonus of having the cutest dog in Morocco.

Never in my life have I stayed somewhere where the staff were so genuine, caring, welcoming, and knowledgeable. No request was too difficult, and each and every staff member went above and beyond in trying to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. There are no words to capture the exquisite and charming interiors, which represent the very best of traditional Moroccan riad architecture. The food was absolutely superb and the views from the restaurant over the Fed Medina are stunning. Staying at Riad Le Calife was truly the highlight of our trip to Morocco and we cannot thank Alex and Yasmine enough for their warm hospitality. We left Fes with fond memories that will stay with us forever, and we certainly hope to return very soon!

An incredible riad - don’t hesitate in booking your stay here. Alex and jasmine are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond. It’s made my future stays in Marrakesh difficult - the standard is now so high! From the room to the rooftop terrace, everything is wonderful. Breakfast is excellent and I’d encourage anyone to have dinner there one night. Do take into consideration the riad is around 20 min walk to the main dining options. Will definitely be coming back! Absolutely an amazing property! Was in awe from the lobby, to the room (Topaze) to the rooftop and dining. This Riad did not disappoint and Yasmine/Alex and the staff- especially Sayid- were fantastic. They did everything to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable time in Fes. They met our van upon arrival , made us dinner reservations and had staff walk us to the Taxi area when we left. Could not have chosen a nicer option. Fully earned the 5star review.

Amazing! This was a truly outstanding experience. We have travelled a lot in Morocco and around the world and this boutique Riad was definitely up there with the very best! A special ‘Thank you!!’ to Yasmine for being so helpful with offering to help sort out our car hire problem, removing the stress and taking the weight off our shoulders and thus enabling us to relax and really appreciate our wonderful stay at Le Calife. Apart from being an exquisite Riad, the staff were delightful and the attention to detail was exceptional. To top it all, a beautifully presented breakfast in sumptuous surroundings was arranged for us for a very early departure at 5am on our last morning. We simply cannot fault it!

Alex & Jasmine are wonderful, they set us up with a fantastic guide for our first full day in Fez. Had their lovely staff escort us to help get our Petite Taxis, scheduled an unbelievable Hammam/Massage experience as well as a wonderful dinner for two on their rooftop terrace in house restaurant. Can not recommend Riad le Calife highly enough 11/10 Stars!!!

We spent several nights at the Riad Le Calife and were very impressed with the facility, service and hospitality. The food was excellent and the attention to our requirements far exceeded expectations. They are true ambassadors to FEZ and want their clients to have a great experience. We would recommend their Riad as a good selection to relax while enjoying the sites and experiences within Fez and area.

This place is beautiful. However, like all Riads I have stayed in there is no elevator. The Riad was not accessible by car and if you wish to venture out, you will need a guide. We decided to go nowhere to prevent the panic and anxiety of being lost in a foreign country with no language skills.

I cannot recommend Raid Le Calife enough. The best place I have stayed in for years. If you want to experience Fez and Morocco, then this is the place for you. A great location and wonderful rooms and facilities. The owners, Yasmine and Alex and their excellent team, were always there to help and make our stay memorable. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Beautiful riad, tucked away in a side street. Slightly steep walk but fairly short from Cinema Amal (5 minutes). Very tastefully done, great attention to detail. Friendly staff, helpful with recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. Fabulous views from rooftop, enjoyed evening sitting out. Would highly recommend, great value for money. Would love to return one day. Only feedback would be re breakfast. More choice needed eg with fruits and types of omelette and also bakery selection. It seems all the Riad‘s in Morocco are difficult to find and you cannot get dropped off at the door. So for the first time you need someone to show you the way. After that, it’s a piece of cake. This place was no exception in that I needed help finding it But for two dollars they helped me and also carried the luggage.

Riad Calife is a wonderful little hotel in the old part of Fes. The property and rooms are beautifully decorated with a blend of Moorish and French architecture. The rooftop terrace and restaurant area offers a great view of the oldest part of the city. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

We received great advice on how to optimize our time in the medina and restaurant options outside of the riad. Riad Le Calife's food is also excellent. The rooms are very comfortable as are the common areas such as the courtyard and dining rooms. Its location is very good as well with quick access to car-accessible streets and cabs. We highly recommend a stay at Riad Le Calife

There is a zylion of ryid in Fes, and the choice was difficult. I picked road le Calife on a guess. I was so right, the place is beautiful, clean, quiet, charming, romantic. The service is implacabile. We stay in the Diamond suite, spacious, well equipped, amazing bed and bathroom. The staff is truly taking care of you. We stay first night for diner Friday is couscous, and a real excelent one. The gray win was good too. Breakfast is nice with a view from the roof top. Finally Alex the owner knows Fes by heart, and can give you all the good addresses or book a guided tour. We will be back, that's for sure. And look on the website or call Alex for a discounted rate compared to major platforms

Everything was incredible! The Riad itself was beautiful - the rooms, the reception, the courtyard, all of it. The employees are lovely, and the owner Alex was incredibly kind. We had a great conversation with him about the Riads history, and Morocco itself, and appreciated the extra effort that we could tell he puts in for his guests. The location itself is great as well. Not only is the food great, but the views of Fes from the restaurant are incredible as well.

Everything was incredible! The Riad itself was beautiful - the rooms, the reception, the courtyard, all of it. The employees are lovely, and the owner Alex was incredibly kind. We had a great conversation with him about the Riads history, and Morocco itself, and appreciated the extra effort that we could tell he puts in for his guests. The location itself is great as well. This place is an experience. I have no words, you have to come to Fes and live it. The owners Yasmine and Alex are unbelievable hosts, nothing is too much for them, incredibly helpful and generous. The staff is awesome, friendly, helpful, gentle. They all made our 4 days in Fes an unforgettable experience. I can only recommend, Fes = Riad Le Calife We come back to Fes, we stay here. Once more it’s incredible

Alex, Yasmine, and all of the staff were incredibly kind and full of hospitality, which made us feel completely comfortable and allowed us to fully enjoy exploring Fes. Everything was exceptional — the beautifully designed interiors, the elegant decoration, the delicious breakfast, and the wonderful private dinner experience. If we ever have the chance to visit Fes again, we would absolutely love to stay here again.

Wow! There are so many good things to say. First of all, everyone at Riad Le Calife was above and beyond in kindness and hospitality. Alex and Yasmine were such great hosts who gave us great insight to Fes and even supported us with obtaining a bag we left behind in the Sahara Desert!! Mohamed helped us get taxis, find nearby toothbrushes and toiletries (due to our temporarily displaced bag), and kindly hosted us at the riad's amazing restaurant upstairs (Fatima is an excellent chef, by the way). Beyond the amazing people, the space itself is incredible. Beautifully designed with an amazing view of the city. What a special place to spend part of our honeymoon. We hope to come back!
