Much of the parking area was flooded from recent rains, making parking difficult

They showed a pool and breakfast on their website and said they never had that.

We enjoyed this place. While it is right on 101, noise wasn't an issue. There is a decent restaurant with generous portions, and good fish and chips. The great: When we first got to our ground floor room, there was noise coming from the room above ours. The proprietor promptly changed us to another room. The not so great: Our room didn't have a coffee maker, and when I went down to the office to get coffee, it was closed (~7 AM), and the restaurant wasn't yet open. We had to drive into town to get coffee. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient.

We didn't like that there was only one chair to sit on, i had only the bed to sit on. The bed wasn't comfortable, there was no coffee in the room and no breakfast at all. It's a tired old hotel. On the plus side it was clean and the staff friendly.

Basic bed and bath. No coffee in room. Not a good value.

Nicely decorated, comfortable bed, great pillows. Clean, very quiet. Did not smell of cigarettes!!! I enjoyed my stay.

At first the room was just okay, though, it was clearly not very clean. There was hair on the floors and spider webs. Then, around 11:30pm while we were winding down for bed, there was a bug crawling on the bed and we flicked it off and identified it to be a bed bug. We immediately called management and spoke to a lady that quickly moved us to another room. We felt disgusted and even considered just sleeping in the car instead, but ended up just sleeping on top of the bedding just in case. The clean of the second room was even worse than the first but we didn’t find any bedbugs in the second room. In the morning, I spoke with a man at the front desk to see if they’d consider any type of discount or a full refund due to not only the inconvenience of moving rooms so late at night but because of literal bed bugs - and got met with disrespect. He said to my face that he thinks we’re lying just to get a refund on the room in front of other customers in the lobby. I then asked for the manager in which he stated he was the manager and REFUSED to give his name so we could make a dispute on my bank since he refused to give me any type of compensation. We then spoke with housekeeping in which they were dramatically more kind and respectful towards our discomfort and assured us that they were going to do something about the situation and provided us with the “managers” name - Which is PANDEEP so we could do what we needed to do to get this settled. Do not stay here.

Room was very clean and staff was very good. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the great weekend.

The rooms were clean and up to date. The property is nice and maintained.

The bathroom was full of black mold, mini fridge freezer area leaked into the fridge part. Staff wasn’t on site when we arrived, the room I booked online was way different than the room I received. We left a night early because I didn’t want my kiddos getting sick from the black mold all over the shower trim and walls along with the faucet.

Room was fresh and clean. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Beautiful area with a nice little coffee kiosk next door.

I only slept one night at this motel. Bed bugs bite me.

The property was in desperate need of multiple repairs. The sink faucet was very loose, the toilet leaked and the pink slime mold under the leak clearly never gets cleaned up. The LVP flooring was torn up near the refrigerator and needs to be repaired. There was body hair throughout the entire room, including in the bed and on the sheets. The window had spiders in corners, which is not an issue, perse, but the window sill was covered in spider droppings and also clearly never gets a wipe down. We asked room service for a couple additional towels and was told we had to give back the others before receiving more. Behind the beds, under the headboard looks as if it has never been cleaned before. The property is situated only a few feet from the highway so there is significant traffic noise all night, which we expected, but this is definitely not the hotel for you if you are looking for quiet and restful. There is also not a coffee pot in the room. On the plus side, the management was very friendly.

Very late check in, staff were very rude to tell us absolutely no check in prior to 3pm. Toilet paper dispenser was coming off wall, ac unit barely worked, shoty at best! Pillows were terrible. The room at least smelled okay, but bathroom smelled moldy. We would not stay here again unless last resort.

Surprisingly nice. Easy access. Room was quite nice and clean. Huge LCD TV and spacious walk in shower.

An old motel upgraded with new interiors. Furniture was new and the beds were comfortable however, they left in the old bathtubs in the tiled showers with blackened, grout and rust dripping from the faucets. They should have completed the remodel with new tub and shower. Also, still have the old noisy heating air conditioning units in the windows and noisy refrigerators. The bathroom fans were old and sounded like jet engines when running so that the units on each side of you or below you were disturbing when they were on. The bathroom fans go on automatically when the lights are turned on so anyone getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom wake up the people above them.

Garibaldi Inn was an average spot to stay in for the Oregon coast. It is a budget stay in a high cost area. It has undergone some internal renovations and the room portion itself was clean. The bathroom is partially renovated (everything except for the shower) and wasn’t the cleanest (had hair from whoever stayed last in the shower still). Mattress wasn’t super comfortable, but was passable. Biggest issue for us was the noise as it is located directly on the highway. Vehicle noise was constant and quite loud, however that may have been partially concentrated as we were on the ground floor unit closest to the highway. Location is very good as it is just steps from the main commercial core and the docks.

Rooms are contemporary and updated but you can hear all the neighbors talking. I would recommend everything else if you are a heavy sleeper. Next time they remodel they should add a layer of gyp bd with resilient channels on one side of all room separations and the ceiling. 😎

The hotel was very clean and had a nice appearance. The staff were lovely too! However we had two issues with things in the hotel room - the heater and the door! The heater would work fine, but after a moment would end up being incredibly loud and sounding as though it may go out! The door seemingly hadn’t any seals on it with gaps wide enough between the wall and door for all light, weather and sound to come through clearly. Definitely a couple outstanding issues to tackle! However we did enjoy our stay and the area did seem very safe and lovely! It’s very near some notable sights, too!

We got there at 230 pm and tried to check in. The owner said that they were stil cleaning our room and had to wait another 15-20 minutes. This was an outright lie because we saw no one leave or enter our room while we waited in our car. When we got to our room, the door was ajar and there were 2 flies buzzing around. The beds were uncomfortable too and we had the motel owner had to use a crowbar to help close our door shut.

The front dest staff had excellent customer service, helping with dining options and things to do. Will stay there again!

The woman who checked us in was very kind! On the other hand, the woman (who I’m guessing is maybe the manager or supervisor) was very rude. I was setting up for an event and called the motel to see if u was able to sign the papers and get the keys early (it was around 2:00-2:30 when I called) so that my husband could get into the motel after check in (which is at 3:00) around 4 because I was not going to be in town due to setting up. She huffed and puffed and very rudely told me that check in is at 3 and I can get my keys then, and not any time before. The AC/Heater also sounded like it was going to fall out of the wall. It was extremely loud and literally shook the whole room so we had no heat or AC for 3 days. If it wasn’t the only option available in the area I would’ve left the first night I was there and paid extra money somewhere else. I will not be coming back.

My mother and I checked in Wed afternoon at 3 pm, Aug 21. The customer service person was enthusiastic, helpful, and had a wonderful smile. She also had very helpful information. I will stay again!

The room itself was okay. We were late arriving but where able to call and inform the front desk. They were nice to wait for us to arrive. What i didnt like is my credit card was charged in advance when i had checked pay at property. I have never experienced this before. I travel alot and hotels/motels have alwasy waited for me to arrive at the property, regardless of how late we arrive, and charge whatever form of payment i would like to use at the property. The lady at the front desk did make the refund on my credit card, at my request, but now i am left with an exchange rate difference. This was a great inconvenience for me.

Everything was as advertised as promised. That goes a long way with me. The service was friendly and was made to feel welcome. Conveniently located right off of Highway 101.

Manager put us in the room right next to highway and not mention construction happened at night on highway(construction team stayed in same hotel). It woke us up from midnight till 4:30am. I complained next morning and requested to change to another room(prepaid for 2 days) and requested compensation, manager was rude. Saying he had no control over it, hotel was full(parking lot not full).I checked online there were 5 rooms available with same price, he was just didn’t care. His attitude was totally unacceptable. Hotel is run down, bathtub not clean. Will never stay in this hotel with the treatment from this hotel manager.

the hotel itself is fine. It is clean and staff are nice. the location is not great. I stayed there for access to mid oregon coast thinking it was a good alternative to Tillamook. it is not on the beach and there is no beach access. it is a small town without amenties. If you want the beach I would stay in Rockaway. lots of hotels right on the beach and only 5 more minutes to Tillamook area.

Major construction in front of motel. Our view was of all the road construction supplies. Road construction noise started at 8am. NOT anything like what was advertised. Reserved two nights and left after one night.

Good location

There is no view of any beach area.

We checked in and found our room to be clean and comfortable. Right behind the property is a small coffee drive thru with amazing coffee and breakfast treats. Easy walking distance to various small bars and restaurants and also conveniently located close to a historic train station. Nice place to stop for a night while traveling along the coast.

Affordable, clean and easy to get to. Only problem was availability of coffee as lobby didn't open 7ntil 8:00.

Had a pleasant stay after a long drive...right next door is Great food and the marina is a stones throw away!

Sounded like airplanes loud going overhead. At 11pm. Highway traffic. Semi's and loud roadsters or motorcycles We had room on end. Construction crew woke us up early. No coffee until 8 am. None in room
