The pool was small felt very crowded with 7 kids in it. The continental breakfast was fairly standard. The building itself needs some renovation and updates there was a lot of areas where drywall was peeling, paint was scraped off and the towel holder in our bathroom was rusty.

The room was clean. There were a lot families there which is exactly what we were going for. The front desk staff were very friendly. The pool is on the small side but it wasn’t too busy so it worked out great for us.

The pool was dirty and cloudy. There were 2 flying ant- looking bugs crawling on the wall of our room. Check-in was slow due to computer system issues. There wasn't a small fridge or microwave in the room. Very few amenities for the price.

We received our keys and went up to our room, only to find out room #244 did not exist. Went down to the desk- oops, sorry, it was room #224. Went back up to use the keys. Did not work. Back down to the desk. Then they worked. After driving 7 hours, we really didn't need to deal with these irritating issues. OK, we're in our room. Now I want to go swimming. Oh, the pool is closed. Ok, use the fitness room. Three machines, the treadmill is broken. You know, there were 2 other hotels we looked at, and we picked this one because it had an indoor pool and fitness center. Silly me, I guess next time I should call and make sure the hotel is fully functional. Really disappointed.

The staff was great & rooms were clean. Pool was not great and limited chairs and tables in pool area. The picture is not accurate of the pool area at all: Someone had a cat that was loose and peeing in the hall while we were there and dogs were barking. It was a cheap stay but not sure I would do it again.

Positives: The room was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean. The breakfast was decent and kept well stocked. Complaints: The pool was small and kind of icky. The main reason we stayed there was that you had a pool. My 4 grandkids never got in the pool. It was so COLD that they didn't get in. Why would i ever stay with you guys again? If your not going to heat the pool when it's cold outside don't advertise that you have one.

The hotel is in a good location and they had good breakfast. The pool was closed for some reason which was disappointing because that was one of the reasons I stayed there.

Dirty room, dirty towel in bathroom, dirty sheets on the beds, crumbs on the floor, beds were comfortable, but sheets were scratchy. Breakfast was very limited, waffles and cereal, the biscuits and gravy were inedible. Looks nice from the outside, but obviously not well maintained or clean

We are working on getting a refund on the stay here. The staff was nice enough but there were different smells in the front area, elevator, and third floor. The headboards, fridge, and flat surfaces all had grime on it like it hadn't been cleaned. We left and found another hotel to stay at.

I stayed at this hotel several times and each time I go it goes more downhill. It’s not very clean. It’s noisy with door slamming constantly, and the smell of marijuana being smoked. It’s constant. I choose this motel because it’s pet friendly but the whole grounds is full of Dog waste and cigarettes, and the pool was not very clean nor was it warm.

I’ve stayed at Microtels in the past and have never had a problem. The staff was fine, my room just wasn’t clean. There was a big stain on the floor and the shower curtain was mildewy.

Positive- friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, fluffy towels and lots of hot water. All the positives cannot erase the paper thin walls. Difficult to sleep with crying babies (2 rooms down) and adjoining room simply watching tv. Used ear plugs but did not help.

I was a bit surprised by how rundown this hotel was. When I walked into the room, I was shocked; it reminded me of a Motel 6 room. I have high standards and tend to be very particular, so I was disappointed with this choice made by my wife. I would not stay here again. I could hear noise from the adjoining room, with people talking loudly until about midnight. Additionally, I was awakened in the morning when their air conditioner turned on at 5:30. I recommend finding another hotel.

The room was very small, but comfortable. The hotel was terribly loud. Since I booked third party, they put me right next to the elevator, in the worst room. The people in the next room made all kinds of noise, and had a dog that alternated between whimpering and barking. I called the front deck, but they told me they were full and could not move me. I cannot testify to the truthfulness of that statement. The room was very clean. It would be nice to move beyond the 1980s and have a fridge and microwave in the room. I only stayed one night so I guess it was good enough. Not a place though I would want to stay longer than that.

Mostly satisfied with the experience in this suite… Plenty of room, good amount of storage if you’re staying for a few days and want to unpack things. Lots of seating options for when you want to relax or eat in the room…mini fridge kept things nice and cold. Outfitted with the basics, including a coffee maker and microwave and hairdryer. Soap and shampoo provided thought it was kind of odd though that there was no soap next to the little kitchenette sink. It’s really nice having the sink outside the bathroom for washing up a few things or filling up a water bottle, so it would have been nice to have soap to use out there. Since the bathroom soap is attached to the wall, it couldn’t be moved to that other sink because I did try that. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were trash all four of them were completely lumpy And should have been replaced long ago. Another oddity was that there was only one bedside outlet and no USB ports at all. Since I was traveling alone, I could use the one outlet for myself and brought my own USB outlet, but the other side of the bed there was an alarm clock sitting unplugged because there was no plug to put it into. Most hotels these days have USB ports for charging devices. Oddly, they still had jacks you could plug a landline phone into. Bathroom was a bit small, but fine. Tub did not drain well but did not overflow or anything. I never used the TV, but it seemed to have plenty of channels available… overall a good stay.

This was the worst hotel stay. We were given Room 117… despite the set of ear plugs provided we heard everything and did not sleep much. By everything I mean the sliding doors, the elevator sing, every conversation (esp the one right by our door at 5am), every footstep (next to and above) and every door close. The room has zero sound proofing, which should have been budgeted for in their ‘renovation’. Our full day of driving was torture given the mayyybe 5 hours of sleep we got. Staff showed zero empathy when we listed the issues next morning and directed us to email the manager. I have not heard back at all.

Well, it took about 2 hrs to check in, perhaps more. Partly Expedia's fault; partly due to error on the front desk's part. THAT SAID, he kept his cool and did everything in his power to work around the glitch & correct the error. It was inconvenient, but props to the desk man for doing his utmost. The room itself was ok for just a night's sleep, but it is not updated for use of chargers and such.

First and foremost Kathleen at the front desk from 3-11 was amazing! We got to see her all three nights we were there. The hotel over all was in a great location and very clean and friendly. My only complaint was we couldn’t get any sleep at all. The overnight and morning staff weren’t enforcing quiet times and the family above us had uncontrolled kids which kept us up until after midnight every night and woke us up by 6am. Kind of hard to relax and enjoy a get away when you’re exhausted. Yes, the staff was informed and asked to contact the family, more than once. Other than the lack of sleep I would stay here again. My kiddo will be starting college up the road and finding a place close to stay at close to visit him is important.

This was the worst hotel stay. We were given Room 117… despite the set of ear plugs provided we heard everything and did not sleep much. By everything I mean the sliding doors, the elevator sing, every conversation (esp the one right by our door at 5am), every footstep (next to and above) and every door close. The room has zero sound proofing, which should have been budgeted for in their ‘renovation’. Our full day of driving was torture given the mayyybe 5 hours of sleep we got. We booked a week stay here ended up not staying there because the staff member working up front was rude, and unprofessional. My family and I travel a few times a year and this would be our first bad experience at any hotel/motel. I will say Elly the manager was accommodating and super helpful. Thank goodness they have her.

Great breakfast for what is typically offered at budget hotels. Has to do with their selection of suppliers and prep. Eggs were fluffy and tasted like scrambled eggs. Sausage was plump and hot. All the staff was amazing! The lady who checked us in was beyond friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. The tv didn't work very well. It kept doing random things and we couldn't figure out why. The only thing negative we really can say about this place was the breakfast. The eggs and sausages tasted like they were reheated from the day before. The biscuits were ice cold and stale. The juice machine didn't work properly and the coffee was very watery. Like they used the same coffee bag a few times. We travel about 3 times a month with our two 11 year olds, and we always look forward to the breakfast part! We still would give this hotel another go if we are in the area again.

The elevator was downright terrifying. Every time it moved, it made horrible grinding noises that made me feel like it was either going to get stuck between floors or drop straight to the ground. To make matters worse, the inside of the elevator was filthy and smelled awful. The lack of cleanliness carried over into the room as well. When I went to use the bathroom, I found strands of hair left behind in the bathtub. It was incredibly gross and obvious that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

I stayed here because other reviews were good but I will not be going back. I reserved two rooms. There were dead bugs on the floors of both rooms. The AC didn't work well in one of the rooms. (and it wasn't even one of the really hot days.) The door wouldn't even unlock for us when we first got there. I stood at the front desk for about five minutes waiting for someone to tell while another customer was waiting to see if there were any rooms available at all. I finally went back to my room and called the front desk. She said she was upstairs fixing a TV in another room that wouldn't work. I took my grandson to the pool which was pretty small and there were no pool towels on the shelves but they don't want you taking towels out of your room. We didn't eat breakfast there. The eating area was really small and with how dirty the floors were in the rooms and the carpets in the halls we chose to eat out. In the last ten years or so staying in places, I have not had to think about a fridge being in the room because there is usually one there, not in these rooms. My grandson has insulin so I put it in the ice bucket to keep in cool. I hope others have better luck.
