Generally love this hotel - I do feel that at this point (we've been staying here several years - since 2022) some furnishings are getting a bit 'run down', and for the prices they charge they should either keep them in better condition or refurbish. That said - the hotel is overall great. One thing: management should be more aware of events! Giant conferences where people have to be somewhere on time (like All State Orchestra, for example) in particular! I knew from past years to get down for my breakfast with plenty of time, but if people aren't aware that breakfast is a whole 'made to order and not super fast' deal, then they end up entirely missing out on breakfast or risk their child being chastised at rehearsal, or demoted (yup). I felt terrible having to watch several parents wrestle with the choice before them: starve their child before a full morning of rehearsal, try to find something else on the way-ish (there isn't really anything on the way, per se, if you are walking), or (possibly still AND) risk your kid being publicly shamed :-/. The second day they did a buffet, which 1- isn't as good, so *I* was now bummed! 2 - people had already written you off and figured something else out, so I'm guessing it went to waste, and 3 - isn't what people want: people want quick breakfast choices that they can pick up: egg and bacon sandwich (meat-eaters), egg and cheese sandwich (vegetarians), veg/hummus sandwich (vegans), bagels w cream cheese, muffins - boom, done.
