#17 room was the worse room? Didn't see in any others... smelled like sewer. Ni coffee pot ..but a fridge and microwave. Too old and run down. A pretty dress on a pig...🙄. Maybe going through Expedia gets u the bottom tier room? Trash cans outside overflowing. Some rooms had permanent guests ...🙄. Limited manuverability in parking lot.

I try and stay in Los Banos on my way up or down I-5. It\'s such a cute charming town that no one knows about. It\'s about 10 minutes off I-5 so I guess most people just drive on thru. And this motel is the best! Charming historic architecture inside and out, beautiful potted plants everywhere, and very nice owners.And so far, still quite affordable. Be sure to check out the "old town" just a few blocks from the motel.

Since I missed my I 5 road trip last year, I was particularly looking forward to staying here again. This is a classic midcentury motel reimagined as a unique oasis. The garden is extraordinary as is the tile works and detailing in the rooms. Clearly, the priority here was to create something beautiful for guests, and the sense of hospitality from the family is warm and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit.

Out of order ice machine by the front door. Broken down, torn apart air conditioner by the front door. Dark corridor around the corner at a dead end. No lights to see which door to open. Unsafe!!! We left the key at the desk and left.

Didn’t arrive until 10 PM for a quick 1 night stay. Staff were efficient and friendly. The room was pleasant, very clean and had all the basic amenities that one needs. Found an excellent breakfast restaurant a minute down the road.

I hate leaving bad reviews. But I didn’t enjoy my stay here. It was super noisy from the traffic outside and from other guests. The room was NOT clean. The bedspread was very dirty. The woman who checked me in was nice but otherwise I really did not enjoy my stay here. I was wishing I had spent a little more money and gotten a better room elsewhere.

This is a neat place, decor is fabulous, service was good. My one complaint, the floor in room made my socks brown with ?? And one dirty wash cloth left on shower curtain.. NOT MINE. Towels didn't look too clean, but did smell clean so gave the benefit of the doubt. BUT... while I would stay here again.. THAT has got to be one of the most UNCOMFORTABLE beds I have ever slept on. Hard, and while not lumpy. One just can't get comfortable. And I am not terribly picky on mattresses. Inside of the fridge could use a little swamping too. But it served our needs for a later evening end to a long drive

"Economy" says it all; you get what you pay for. The room was pleasant, clean, but just adequate. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice, but it took a while to determine that there truly was hot water available. One very nice feature was that the refrigerator actually had a freezer compartment! That is rare, and appreciated. On the downside, it is right by a street where cars make LOTS of noise through the night. There was no coffee or breakfast of any kind offered.

There was no one there to check us in. The maintenance guy looked at a list and gave us a room key. They charged my card (even though they were supposed to wait for me tk pay at the hotel) before we even showed up. Room smelled like cigarette smoke.

We decided to make a pit stop in Los Banos on our way home from South Lake Tahoe and chose this motel for the price. Wasn’t expecting it to be so clean. It was great, had a big screen TV , microwave and refrigerator for under a hundred dollars. And it was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. The lady at the front desk was also very nice and helpful.

Denny’s, IHOP and others a few minutes down the street. “Historic Downtown Los Banos” is a few blocks away; includes a nice sports bar/restaurant.

This is a great, old style, family owned motel in very good condition. I wanted lodging away from I-5, and this was worth the 10 minute drive east. The room was nice and quiet, awesome tile shower. There's no coffee maker but there are places to get coffee right across the street. I'd stay here again for sure. Lastly, there are some great burritos to get within walking distance.

A gem in the Valley. Economical, exceptionally Clean and cozy. SAFE. Shower better than any 5 star hotel. Perfect for an I-5 overnight stop. Have an amazing lunch or dinner at The Wool Growers Restaurant just a few blocks away.

Stayed there for one night and it was the perfect little Inn. Only thing that there was no coffee maker, but there was a mini fridge and microwave. Also, bed came with 2 pillows, could've used 3 or 4, but that's my preference. Tv and remote worked fine, some place I've been to not even those worked. It's located on a main drag so there are plenty of stores to go to for food and general shopping. No complaints. But I would only stay here for anight or two with the room I had. Not for a week, unless they have some sort of master king/queen bedroom.

I actually thought the property was pretty unique. However, it was a bit noisy with what was going on in the rooms on each side of me and in the parking lot. I've never stayed at as hotel where there were no snacks and NO coffee. One garbage can in the entire room, and that was a small can in the bathroom. No hangers to hang clothes on. Although there was a rack, there was no iron or ironing board.
