We had a lovely weekend stay here. Couldn't fault the room, two lovely comfy double beds, nice bath and shower, complimentary bottled water daily, bathrobe and slippers. The breakfast was amazing, really plentiful and tasty. The only thing that let it down, was the fact the bar was closed Saturday afternoon, we wanted a glass of wine after shopping, and was told it would be open after 3pm. A 4* hotel really should have all facilities open, especially at a weekend. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here on business in September 2025. I had booked well in advance, so was disappointed that I was given a room on the ground floor. There were a lot of homeless people outside the window, there was a constant hum of the fans and the TV had no sound. I asked to be moved, but the receptionist said they didn't have any other rooms. After 30 minutes, I couldn't take any more of the hum, so I asked another receptionist, who was able to find me a room on one of the higher floors. These ground floor rooms should not be in use, as they are not of the same standard as the rest of the rooms. Apart from that, the breakfast was good and the conference facilities are good too. Handy that they offer free parking in the adjacent car park.

Ive stayed here lots of times over the years and its always been good. But what have they done to the restaurant. The food has become absolute garbage. I got just 3 chicken wings on the starter and possibly the worst rib eye steak I've ever been served. £27!!. The first went back as it had been kept warm I suspect because they wanted to serve it with our starters. The second offering wasn't much better steak replaced but everything else kept warm. This time the worst cut of meat I've ever seen.It was left and removed from the bill. The staff are great and couldn't be more apologetic. The bar is now closed until 5pm. Shame as the Chophouse WAS always nice to eat.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times a year since the year it opened. Never have I left a bad review or complained this time was awful. My husband’s words were “ you wouldn’t rent this room by the hour” it was dirty, the upkeep was nil the carpet was absolutely disgusting, the tiles in the bathroom toilet were cracked and moved. The door wouldn’t shut properly, there was no coffee in the supposed coffee pot, it smelled in the room and out the hall it was worst stay we ever had so disappointed after all these years.

The location is excellent and the free parking is a bonus. However, the room was not as clean as it should have been, the toilet had an unpleasant smell, and the mugs were not very clean and there was waste left under the bed.

After a wam welcome at reception we were told our car had to be moved next door to the Multi story carpark within 15minutes as the council have cameras to the rear of the property in the carpark. Then to the room. Dated and very ‘brown’ but expected that after the reviews I’d read. I have absolutely no idea why we were given a disabled access room? Onto cleanliness. Carpet clearly hadn’t been hoovered as there was still mess where the bed settee had been out. The bin was overflowing with rubbish and empty water bottles. The bathroom - here was when things went really downhill. The black filth behind the taps could be seen in the reflection of the mirror. The floor and tiles were damaged and the grout very stained. The shower appeared to be a wet area. There was a seat on the wall which took up the bulk of the space so it was hard to get under the shower to wash. The higher shower head then flooded the room completely and didn’t drain for ages so had to wait a while for a second shower and use the lower body shower head. The shower curtain was filthy. I was tempted to take it down myself. There was somebody’s half used shower pouch still on the shower shelf. It is a health and hygiene nightmare! Such a shame as the location is wonderful and we had a great night. I rarely leave any reviews but felt this was necessary. I did mention the cleanliness to a very apologetic receptionist on our departure. Do something about your cleaners Future Inn!!

We stayed for two nights to look round Bristol city center and to see a show at the Hippodrome theater the locations suited us well and easy walking distance to the Hippodrome. The room was clean and quiet with a very roomy bathroom with fitted shower, large bed that was very comfortable,there was also air conditioning very welcome as we visited during a heatwave, there was also a safe located in the wardrobe. we did not eat at the hotel, it was conveniently next to Cabot Circus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was included in the price saving us £20 per day stay. We will use this Hotel again when we return to watch another show.

The hotel itself is well located. The rooms are in need of modernising and the beds were awful. Way too old and soft. We had an awful nights sleep. Breakfast surprisingly redeemed the hotel. The breakfast staff were great, friendly and attentive. The food was surprisingly good too and better quality than expected, the coffee was subpar though!

I stayed in a twin room with my mum. The hotel and staff are lovely and it's well located to explore bristol but there are two main points that could be improved on. All lights in the room are controlled by one switch. So neither of us could read in bed without keeping the other awake! Never been to a hotel like this. The bed side lights and main lights should be all individual, most ridiculous set up I've ever seen. Also on the Saturday night there was a party on the top floor (6th). The music could be heard throughout the entire hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and could feel it! We wanted to go to sleep at a reasonable time, but this was hindered as the music stayed on until nearly midnight!

What lets the hotel down is that it is so tired. The beds are so old and lumpy and they sag meaning you have a rather uncomfortable nights sleep. The air conditioning appears to be controlled centrally too and the room was so hot overnight. Such a shame this hotel hasn't been invested in/upgraded as it used to be fantastic.

Pleasant room (given free upgrade as we wanted a bath rather than shower) room was spacious and very comfortable. Lady at reception very helpful at check in. Convenient location for most sightseeing. Free car parking was an absolute bonus.

Feels tired, needs work. Rhos was NOT a cheap hotel, and yet the towels had the texture of sandpaper, and loose threads hanging off 3 lifts, but only one working to service 6 floors with an 8 person limit. Mattresses so springy that you nearly bounce straight back out of bed when trying to get in. Nice building, friendly staff, but the place needs a serious refresh and some money spent. The corners they have cut just aren't acceptable.

The staff were amazing! We received a very warm welcome and were greeted with smiles and friendly 'hello's'. each time we entered the hotel or passed reception on our way to the bar during our 2 night stay . The bar staff went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. They were both very chatty and friendly. Likewise, each person we saw on reception was friendly and happy to help. I booked a family room for 3 people but we only had 2 of everything (mugs, towels etc) but it was so easily and promptly resolved by the helpful, apologetic staff. All of the staff had the same kind approachable nature which was so noticeable. The room was clean and a good size. I'm being picky to give 4 stars for cleanliness but there was a big stain on the carpet in the doorway to our room and the carpet was a bit ragged / tired. I also noticed the odd spec on the bathroom mirror but none of these things affected our stay. Breakfast was a nice buffet with lots to choose from but at £18 a head, in my opinion, £54 for breakfast was far too expensive. The location is great being right next to Cabot Circus and although its a busy road outside, it wasnt noisy at all. The staff àre all so friendly, we had comfy beds, free parking and good air con....we would definitely return! (but get breakfast somewhere else nearby)

We received a very warm welcome and were greeted with smiles and friendly 'hello's'. each time we entered the hotel or passed reception on our way to the bar during our 2 night stay . The bar staff went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. They were both very chatty and friendly. Likewise, each person we saw on reception was friendly and happy to help. I booked a family room for 3 people but we only had 2 of everything (mugs, towels etc) but it was so easily and promptly resolved by the helpful, apologetic staff. All of the staff had the same kind approachable nature which was so noticeable. The room was clean and a good size. I'm being picky to give 4 stars for cleanliness but there was a big stain on the carpet in the doorway to our room and the carpet was a bit ragged / tired. I also noticed the odd spec on the bathroom mirror but none of these things affected our stay. Breakfast was a nice buffet with lots to choose from but at £18 a head, in my opinion, £54 for breakfast was far too expensive. The location is great being right next to Cabot Circus and although its a busy road outside, it wasnt noisy at all. The staff àre all so friendly, we had comfy beds, free parking and good air con....we would definitely return! (but get breakfast somewhere else nearby)

Future Inn hotel stay was beyond our expectation. Very comfortable beds, very clean amenities, polite and professional staff and a very tasty buffet breakfast which is the icing on top of the cake. Staff membet Zoltan at the front desk was exceptional who always go an extra mile. I wholeheartedly recomnend this hotel which situated right next to a big shopping centre and closer to Bristol temple meads station. For the price we paid for a family of 4, it was worth every penny.

Pleasant room (given free upgrade as we wanted a bath rather than shower) room was spacious and very comfortable. Lady at reception very helpful at check in. Convenient location for most sightseeing. Free car parking was an absolute bonus.

The staff at Future Inn (Bristol) are great, great attitude and nothing is too much. Rooms are comfy and a good size with air conditioning that works really well. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. Car parking on the doorstep (virtually) saves having to drive into Bristols ever changing road rules! We enjoyed our stay

Great location and extremely convenient to have the free parking that we could come and go from and which was a 2 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly. Good breakfast with extra choices included to order like pancakes and omelettes. The room had a nice style - the brown decor looked modern rather than 70s - which I had wondered when booking from some of the pictures. The room itself was clean but overall a bit worn around the edges. Overall would stay again because of the convenience.

We stayed for two nights to look round Bristol city center and to see a show at the Hippodrome theater the locations suited us well and easy walking distance to the Hippodrome. The room was clean and quiet with a very roomy bathroom with fitted shower, large bed that was very comfortable,there was also air conditioning very welcome as we visited during a heatwave, there was also a safe located in the wardrobe. we did not eat at the hotel, it was conveniently next to Cabot Circus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was included in the price saving us £20 per day stay. We will use this Hotel again when we return to watch another show.

Ive stayed here lots of times over the years and its always been good. But what have they done to the restaurant. The food has become absolute garbage. I got just 3 chicken wings on the starter and possibly the worst rib eye steak I've ever been served. £27!!. The first went back as it had been kept warm I suspect because they wanted to serve it with our starters. The second offering wasn't much better steak replaced but everything else kept warm. This time the worst cut of meat I've ever seen.It was left and removed from the bill. The staff are great and couldn't be more apologetic. The bar is now closed until 5pm. Shame as the Chophouse WAS always nice to eat.

Parking was fast and easy, multi storey car park right next to the hotel free of charge for hotel residents. Hotel is very centrally located, everything within walking distance. Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good, plenty of selection both continental and full hot english breakfast.

A bath mat as routine would be helpful as opposed to a small notice saying they're available on request - only seen as getting into shower! All staff were smart and helpful. Dinner menu was extensive, meal well cooked and beautifully presented. Breakfast had a large range of items available but plates for the hot choices were cold and the food was only lukewarm. Disappointing after the standard of dinner. The included, free parking was a tremendous bonus. The hotel is worth a stay despite the above observations which could be easily and inexpensively rectified.

The breakfast was amazing, really plentiful and tasty. The only thing that let it down, was the fact the bar was closed Saturday afternoon, we wanted a glass of wine after shopping, and was told it would be open after 3pm. A 4* hotel really should have all facilities open, especially at a weekend. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Good location, ample sized room and deep bath which was great to use in the cold weather! Food from the restaurant was great (the jerk chicken is a big plate!) I just found the bed to be really lumpy and uncomfortable so for the 2 nights I was there, it was not a great sleep

The hotel is in a good spot to enjoy a couple of days exploring Bristol...you can easily walk about everywhere. Being opposite Cabot Circus is handy for eating and also the car park offer is good. The superior room with the king bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet fine. I would have given a better score for the staff category had the maid not walked in on me naked one morning without knocking and despite the do not disturb sign hung outside ("sorry, I didn\'t look", she says...)

Well located on the edge of the shopping centre but not the nicest of Bristol’s districts. Really decent hotel with all the facilities we required. Room was a superior king so plenty of space for a couple and a child. Parking was easy and free located next door to the hotel in the main shopping car park. Bristol was lovely. Lots of walking and exploring opportunities
