*We had was a deluxe queen we stayed for 8 nights. Room was spotless and clean when we arrived. Thought it odd that there was no air con as the rooms got quite stuffy and hot during early hours of the morning. We were lucky to have had a sliding door but found mozzies got in so that was the end of that. Noticed our room wasnt serviced everyday however room had great space, was comfortable and cosy. *Elevator was a drab as it took ages some days to get to ground floor or to floor 4. Had to wait a few times as the cleaners were using them during the day. Also found the elevator rather small. Noticed the doors were really dirty. *Laundry, somedays i would go to do laundry and found that there were duvets, cleaning cloths and tea towels in the washing machine or dryers. $4 per load per w/m and dryer. *Kitchen on level 1 had great space and clean, possible thought to supply a broom and dustpan so guests can sweep floors as cleaners weren't always around. Fridges were not clean found alot of spoilt food in there which we took upon our selves to empty into the bins. Loved the storage containers with condiments etc from guests who left for guest use very handy ** Staff were lovely and friendly. ** Parking was $25 per vehicle per day onsite ** Gym, this is situated next door and is at an extra cost. **Location is amazing right in the CBD found it quite quiet and serene staying here. Although the faults i listed seem much it really is a beautiful place to stay.

The location of Hotel Give across the road from the Botanic Garden and the Arts Centre and only a few blocks away from the city centre makes it an ideal place to stay. The Number 6 Bistro and Bar is really handy, but I would prefer it if it was open seven days a week and in the same building as Hotel Give. I used the kitchen facilities fro breakfast, so didn't try the buffet breakfast.

Modern Hotel. Location great righ at the gstes of the botanical gardens and a 8 minutes flat walking to city centre. Parking at night is Not free $25 a night but can leave your car in the car park free during the day 9 to 5.30pm. For the money is is very good value for money in Christchurch, will stay again on my next trip.

Recently-renovated facility close to central Christchurch with reasonable prices. The rooms and common areas were clean, and the location is very walkable. Would be nice if the doors closed more quietly. Despite being "shared bathroom" in principle, the bathrooms were just right next to our room and didn't seem heavily contended.

The locations is excellent, handy for walking to all the tourist spots of the CBD and 5mins walk to the stop for bus 8 to the airport. However, the hotel itself is just ok. The only elevator is too narrow and there’s a long wait during busy times. The single beds were very narrow and quite high. The floor to our room was not cleaned properly, and my feet were pricked by not one but two hair clips. The kettle had also not been emptied when we arrived. The good thing is that the rates are reasonable.

5/5 shared bathrooms. Biggest worry any time it's a part of the stay - but bathrooms were spotless, and there are SO MANY. I was there 2 weeks (over 2 stays, on 2 different floors), and never waited for a bathroom once. I think one time i had to walk across the hall instead of the one right outside the room - but it was only an extra 10ft away. Staff are great, super friendly and helpful. Big kitchens to use.

This is a fantastic property at a very reasonable price. Our room was very comfortable with 3 single beds which were good quality & comfortable. The room has tea /coffee etc and was restocked daily. The facility has kitchen & laundry facilities but we did not use these. Everywhere was clean and welcoming & reception staff were friendly and very helpful- would definitely recommend and stay here again

Very clean. I brought my own cleaning supplies and happily, I found no dirt or grime. I had a top floor room and had a great arial view. Finally, excellent location being across the street from the Botanical Gardens.

The beds were terrible. All guests woke up with itchy bodies. I dont think the hotel washed any sheets. We will not be coming back here. Rooms are also not sound proof. We could hear the other guests talking ans gping in and out of their rooms.

Hotel was clean and in good repair. Staff were very helpful. I also liked the keycards and door hangers weren't plastic. When the windows were shut, you couldn't hear the street noise. However, the interior walls weren't as good at blocking the sound. Normal volume conversations were amplified. You can't use their wifi if you use a VPN; I confirmed with staff that that is why my wifi was failing. If you are calling yourself sustainable, don't use paper towels in the bathroom.

Place is a former YMCA, was in a private room. Room was clean with a spacious bathroom and nice ambience. Room was a bit hot without ability to directly resuce telperature, so had to open a window which did the job. Location was excellent being in vicinity of Hagley Oval and Christchurch city center.

Good location, clean, nice staff, comfortable beds. The room has no aircon and got quite warm at night. Since the room was facing the street it was a bit noisy, both from traffic and people. But overall it was a good stay that we would recommend.

Nice hotel in a good location. Noisy at night. No air conditioning and it was so hot I had a terrible sleep. When I told the staff at checkout they shrugged and said I should have asked for a fan in the middle of the night. Hopeless!

The lady that greeted us at reception was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and kind. Our room was just what we needed and pretty clean. Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay. The location is great. We very much enjoyed the Botanical Gardens across the street. Not far to city center. I love that they donate their profits. I would totally stay here again. Thank you for the memories!

Congenial staff, with mod conveniences. Location is fantastic, across from Botanical Gardens, Museum, and Arts Centre. Pleasant stroll to downtown area. Lots of enjoyable eateries in close proximity.

This hotel supports the YMCA and is near Hagley Park & botanical gardens. Our room was "cozy" & quiet. Resto connected to the Y was ok for breakfast. Nice to have a coffee plunger.

Checking in was a breeze. Got to our room and there were no towels at all. Had dinner at The Pantry and we waited 30 minutes for a server to get our orders and another 30 minutes for our food. Breakfast was a nightmare. The Pantry was full so we were seated at Umu. Buffet food was limited and no fried rice. Talked to 3 servers about it and nothing. We end up walking to The Pantry to get rice and other food. The hotel is obviously understaffed.

Tolle Unterkunft, es gibt eine direkte Bus Verbindung zum Flughafen, die Innenstadt kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück im dazugehörigen Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr lecker

Perfect location, friendly helpful staff, very well maintained, well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to riverside market , right across the street from the botanical gardens and the boathouse for kayaking or punting. Fantastic bagel and coffee stand next door for breakfast. The hotel was perfect
