ibis Lausanne Centre

I like the ibis downtown format. Rooms are small but original, location great. Parking available.

We had an enjoyable one night stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and on site parking.

The hotel was clean and in a decent location. It was a bit of a walk to the lake but the bus was an easy ride. Liked the bar and restaurant. Staff was great

This was a stop off on a route. The two guys were amazingly helpful and welcoming, a credit to Ibis. The room appeared to be newly decorated and was great, Very comfortable bed and pillows, Great shower and a really good hairdryer! Breakfast was varied and good. And we could park our car in the hotels underground car park which was a bonus.

Hôtel proche du centre, accessible facilement à pied. Petit bémol pour le garage de l'hôtel, peu de place et aussi disponible pour des externes qui n'ont pas de réservation à l'hôtel. Sinon c'est propre et cosy.

Ibis Lausanne Center ist hervorragend für einen Kurzaufenthalt in der stadt geeignet. Sehr zentral gelegen-das Stadtzentrum ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar; gut an den öffentlichen Verkehr angebunden und die Parkgarage im Haus macht es auch möglich mit dem Auto Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu machen! Das Personal ist SEHR freundlich und hilfsbereit!! Das Zimmer war ruhig und in jeder Hinsicht angenehm!

Great location! Within walking distance to almost everything. When you arrive, please take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. I think you can take the bus the number 4(double check). The rooms are small and you don't get any toiletries except liquid soap, so bring your own toothpaste, lotion, shampoo or be ready to buy some at the pharmacy outside.The staff is good and very helpful. The bar is open 24 hours and the hotel is full of people from different countries. Don't panic when they ask you to pay for the entire stay when you arrive, it was different but checking out is faster. The location is absolutely perfect!

Relativ kleine Zimmer, Kleines Bad mit einer Dusche die schon bessere Tage hatte. Die Betten bzw. Kissen waren sehr unbequem. Das Parking ist sehr eng und teuer.

We had a nice stay. Convenient location, comfortable bed and clean. Breakfast was good, not great, no fruit. Staff were very helpful. Thanks for not having covered wastebaskets!😁

C'était très bien! Mention particulière au personnel pour l'accueil et aussi pour la chambre impeccablement soignée lorsque l'on reste plusieurs jours, c'est vraiment très agréable.

I’ve had many good experiences at this hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It’s clean and convenient. this time for some reason the room I got smelled pretty strongly of cigarette smoke. It was laid and I was too tired to ask for another room. But this is the first time after staying there for many nights that this happened.

Room did not enough lighting and made it not very inviting. The room was clean but amenities were minimal, towels thin and old. The hallway smelled damp and musky.

We enjoyed our time in Lausanne. IBIS is located in a great location to access the city by walking or public transit. Our room was quite small, but the shower was large and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfy and it was affordable.

Staff were amazing and went out of their way to provide excellent service… However, a few niggles with room and amenities let overall score down…. We were allocated a double room when I requested a twin, as to be expected with father and daughter sharing a room, this was rectified quite quickly but after a midnight check-in it wasn’t ideal. It also became apparent very quickly that standard EU plugs would not work, again rectified quickly when I was offered the correct adapter but at a cost of Fr.15, but when the rest of our party checked in the following day, they were provided one for free….. The biggies issue though was the temperature of the room we were allocated, far too warm and air con not working properly (blowing out hot air regardless of setting, checked by maintenance but not resolved and told it was “working correctly”). It was so uncomfortable we had to ask for a room swap, sadly none available at time of request so offered a refund of breakfast (paid for at time of booking), which I said i would think about…. Following day i was advised a twin room could be made available and refund would still apply as a courtesy…. Happily accepted room swap and difference was significant, cooler room and working air-con 👍 However, when tried to process refund, was told it could not be done as booked with Hotels.com and not with a card via Hotel!! Also paid for 5 days breakfast but checked out on final morning before breakfast opened… Good hotel, great staff, few niggles

Razoável, padrão Íbis. Quarto limpo, porém muito pequeno a cama extra era muito ruim e não tinha espaço para abrir as malas! Tivemos que colocar as malas no chão e quase passar por cima delas! Éramos 3 e pedimos quarto triplo

pas de séparateur dans la salle de bain entre le wc et la douche. pas de placard. les toilettes sont trop hautes.

It is standard Ibis. Beds are nice, location great. But, third floor room was airless. Both me and my friend felt that we couldnt breathe. Something with the airventilation i guess. Kindly they let us change the room into a room where you can open the window.

Good location and very helpful, friendly staff. Room clean and tidy, but very basic facilities in room. No safe, no kettle, no iron. Very average for price.

the hotel itself is ok. the location is convenient and well connected. they have a food menu but items are unavailable for some reason. their breakfast is ok. their staff attitude however is not always friendly and professional, with one member particularly saying: je m'en fous (I don'tgive a damn).

I reserved 2 rooms for 3 nights. Upon arrival I asked to change the reservation for one of the rooms to 2 nights and was denied. This is unacceptable.

This was a great hotel with a bus just outside to take you to the station. Lausanne is full of hills, so having a transport card is wonderful. The staff were wonderful, some of the best I have come across and were very helpful with a few things I needed. Nothing was too much trouble, and I noticed they were the same with all the guests.

This Ibis up on Beaulieu is easy walking distance to most downtown sites but well off the waterfront. Staff are friendly and helpful, building is well maintained, breakfast buffet is well stocked, transit is on Beaulieu and the neighbourhood is quiet.

Staff was nice and while location was a bit far, it was very easy to get down the hill via bus quickly. Our room flooded however which was frustrating...staff did accommodate us by moving rooms.

A great central location.

Chambre confortable, de bonne dimension, très propre. L’hôtel au complet est dans une excellente condition. Excellente localisation: on peut presque tout faire à Lausanne à pied. De plus, arrêts de bus, métro et gare tout près. On est au centre-ville et en même temps le Lac Leman est accessible en qqs minutes en transport en commun. Bravo pour le laissez-passer pour les transports en commun dans la ville remis aux touristes!

If you are comparing Ibis hotel from most Asian countries, you need to lower your expectation for this Ibis hotel then. Staffs not so friendly. Room is small. No in-room safe, no water boiler, no sleepers. Basically nothing much in the room. We didn't really feel safe when we walked near the hotel for dinner even it was only about 6pm. Not recommended.

It's okay stay in Ibis Lausanne centre. The position isn't near enough to the main sightseeing places as we thought but all above is okay I think.

Central, pratique et propre

Excellent.Very good air conditioning. Thick double glazed windows.Room silent. Good beds and bathroom. Central location in the old town. Neighborhood clean and safe with some interesting characters on the street. Old town is halfway up the hill, walkable but some hills. Take the metro down to the waterfront where ,at Ouchy, there are old beautiful restored steamers to Montreux, Chillon Castle and Thonon-les-Bains with great views of the lake and Alps. Would definitely stay again.

Ich hatte das Ibis Lausanne Centre gebucht, weil ich i der Vergangenheit in Ibis-Hotels meine eigenen Waffeln zubereiten konnte. Auf dem Foto "Tägliches Frühstücksbuffet (19 CHF pro Person)" ist das Waffeleisen auch eindeutig abgebildet. Aber im Hotel musste ich feststellen, dass es das Waffeleisen nicht mehr gibt! Und die Pancakes lagen auf einem Teller herum, kalt. Dafür war aber das hausgemachte (?) Bircher Müsli sehr gut. Ansonsten war alles gut. Ich war im dritten Stock und es war sehr ruhig.

Ok hotel tæt på byen og gågaden. Morgenmaden var kedelig og området hvor maden blev serveret var samme sted som receptionen, meget småt og mange mennesker.

Para o padrão Ibis o hotel surprendeu pelo conforto do quarto e demais instalações, alem da limpeza e staff. Café da manha também atendeu com qualidade nossas necessidades, frutas, paes, queijos proteínas....a localização fica perto de transportes públicos.
