J'ai passé beaucoup de temps dans l'eau. La piscine d'eau de mer au "club laurel" est très agréable et bien située, près de la plage. Le spa aussi est sympa, petit mais pas trop envahi (hors saison). On peut aussi lézarder devant la piscine principale. Partout on nous fournit des chaises longues et des serviettes.

Ön La Gomera ett litet paradis på jorden. Se ön med buss eller hyrbil. Klart värt det. Kan du dessutom bo på Hotel Jardin Tecina är det bara ett plus. Här finns det mesta du behöver om du är sport intresserad som Golf, Padel, Tennis, Gym, PT och vandring i bergen. Själv fördrar jag vandring. Hotell området är helt fantastiskt. Med poler och Beach clubs.

My third visit to Jardin Tecina revealed maintenance issues. The clothes hook on bathroom door about to fall off. The shower gel bottle did fall off. The room safe activation required a technician's visit because front desk couldn't explain how it worked. And, as before, the signs directing guests to their rooms are poor. Rooms are difficult to find.

L'hôtel et ses jardins sont magnifiques, dominant l'océan du fait de sa situation en bord de falaise. Il y a un ascenseur permettant d'accéder à la plage de cailloux, ce qui est très pratique pour la baignade. La chambre est spacieuse et fonctionnelle avec une très belle vue sur l'océan. Le personnel est agréable et compétent. Les buffets des repas du restaurant principal, que ce soit au petit-déjeuner ou au dîner sont très bons, variés et très bien cuisinés avec un coin show-cooking pour les crêpes le matin et pour deux sortes de viande et un poisson le soir. Par contre il y a plusieurs piscines et malheureusement aucune n'est chauffée correctement : pour un hôtel 4 étoiles indiquant "piscine chauffée" la température minimale rendant la baignade de loisir agréable doit être de 28 degrés, or là que ce soit la piscine principale, celle du Club Laurel ou même celle réservée aux suites, aucune ne dépasse les 24-25 degrés. Je l'ai signalé à la réception mais on m'a répondu que c'était normal, la température de chauffe n'excédant pas 25 degrés et pouvant même descendre à 19 !! C'est le gros point négatif de cet hôtel, sinon tout le reste est très bien.

Breakfast was wonderful! Lots of choices, champagne, fresh juices, local cheeses and other specialties. The grounds were beautiful, filled with well cared for plants and trees from all over the world. The room was spacious and light. Easy to walk into town. It was a pleasure to stay there.

We arrived in La Gomera not really knowing what to expect but this is a resort hotel with activities - so there can be quite a lot of life about the place. Staff were generally friendly and accommodating We ate at the beach club which was excellent albeit the service was a little all over the place at times- but well meaning and with a smile. Hotel is a little tired in places - no more so than the bedrooms which are due a little TLC- that said spotlessly clean and the sea view superior had stunning views. We ended up turning off the aircon as there was a fairly unpleasant odour coming from it - again I think it’s just a little old. Some really nice restaurants in the town notably La Cuevita Ayagaures, Kuss and Don Tomate so don’t just stick to the hotel fayre

My fourth stay. A beautifully landscaped property needs a little work on the rooms. The bed was old and the floors are very slippery when wet (I fell and sprained a knee). The towels were so worn that one tore while I used it. The staff are marvelously helpful, especially Miriam on the front desk.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön gelegen, sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal freundlich. Ein schönes Hotel. Der Preis hat es allerdings auch in sich. Unseres Erachtens hätte man in bezug auf Umweltfreundlichkeit nicht täglich alle Handtücher wechselb müssen. Wie in anderen Hotels, die Handtücher, die man gewechselt haben möchte, auf den Boden zu werfen, wäre in Ordnung.

Our room had no facility to make a hot drink, due to no kettle in the room. No wardrobe hanging for full length clothes and even the hanging space provided was too small to hang a shirt without it pooling on the floor. No shelves in the bathroom to hold toiletries.

I had a lovely stay at this wonderful hotel. Nice rooms, great dinner, cool entertainment. And spectacular views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Daniel Cordero, who even helped me with my car troubles after his shift just finished. Talk about going above and beyond!

El hotel está bien, a nosotros no nos gustan los hoteles grandes con tantísimas personas, preferimos los pequeños y más tranquilos. Pero en general no está mal. Muy difícil el sistema de reservas con la aplicación, sobre todo porque no funcionaba para todo. Algún que otro camarero antipático en el desayuno, pero otros que compensaban con su simpatía como Chedey, muy agradable este chico.

Der Check in war schrecklich: Unser Zimmer sollte #111 sein. Dafür gabs auch den elektronischen zimmerschlüssel. Auf der Karte des hotelgeländes wurde an der Rezeption aber 101 eingetragen! Als wir dort nach vielen Metern ankamen stellte sich heraus, daß die Rezeption uns auf der Gelände karte das falsche Zimmer eingetragen hatte. Wir sind dann allerdings weiter zu #111 gelaufen und dort hat der zimmersclüssel funktioniert. D.h. die Rezeption weiss nicht bescheid. Noch unverschämter war dann allerdings der Anruf im Zimmer, wir hätten nachdem das mit #101 nicht funktioniert hat wieder zurück laufen sollen. Wer ist hier der Gast und wer schickt die Gäste im Gelände herum. Keine 4sterne!

Nice hotel in a very special location. If you want to spend your vacation in a quiet space with amazing views, this is the place to go. Our room was very comfortable and we had an amazing terrace looking over the ocean. The bathroom was a bit tired but it honestly did not bother us. The staff around the hotel are very friendly. The only thing that we did not like was the food. The buffet dinner is below mediocre and the food presentation resembles that in the canteen of the average European office.

Grosse structure hôtelière, notre chambre la 163 était éloignée du restaurant et des piscines. Buffet du matin et du soir (à thème) correct. Dommage que ce soit envahi par les mouches peut-être est-ce du à la saison , nous y étions en octobre.
