St Croix Suites - St Croix Falls

Nothing special but staff was friendly for being so busy. Pool is HUGE! Sauna and pool being open at 6am was a plus. Room had microwave, fridge and large patio doors. Not a lot of options in this area.

The pool water was a little cold.

No coffee at breakfast until a guest used the service phone. The parking lot was really beat up and potholed.

breakfast was nearly absent, no plates, utensils, milk,...staff not helping with waffle machine that does not work. Sauna does not work. Charged an extra fee per person ($15/day). Heated pool not so heated and can't get pool towels. Extra linen not available for a party of 4 .

The property was very run down and dirty. The bedspread kept coming off the mattress in the middle of the night. The toilet was too close to the shower - which made it uncomfortable to use. The windows in my hotel room were cracked. Amenities such as the pool looked like it hadn't been used or treated in years.

The pool water felt slimy. The room had a musty smell to it. The shower didn’t work so had to wash our hair in the sink or take a bath.

Property is old and decently well kept. Could use a couple upgrades. They closed the pool early. Parking area could use lines so people know where to park in the front.

Outdated motel. Door locked to coffee area. Parking area in need of repair.

Went to check in and all lights were off, place was filthy, pool and sauna were out of order and looked like they hadn’t been in working order in years. Demanded our money back and they refused. We drive across town and stayed at Holiday Inn instead. Trying to get our money back still from this dump.

Our whole experience was bad here that we didn't even stay. First when you walk into the place the front desk person is behind glass and they were dress in an old t-shirt. Then our key didn't work (on an outside door)so I had to get another one. This key didn't work either. The front desk person went in from the hall door. The outside door was deadbolted. When opening the door you had to push on it with your body because the old paint made the door stick. When we got in the place smelled of mold, the front glass window was cracked, the sheets were stained yellow and their was black mold or coloring on the pillow. When I went to the front desk to complain the person was no where to be found. I even dinged the front desk bell. I think he went to bed. We left and went to a different hotel a half hour away. Also the continental breakfast area looked disgusting.

Cockroaches on the wall. Mold in shower. Carpet filthy

The pool was dirty, there were so many bugs everywhere; crawling on the doors, etc. and our room smelled of cigarette smoke. The bedspread was stained. On the plus side, it was easy to find. The bathroom towels were very soft and white.

Exterior is run down with no signs. We thought it was closed. Check in was ok, but the lobby and hallways smelled stale and old. Our room smelled even worst, like pet urine making it hard to breath. We went back to the front desk, explained the room was unexceptible gave our room keys back and left. We were unable to find lodging in the area and ended up driving home cutting our weekend short. Exstreamly disappointing

Our room was do dirty and disgusting. We had flies and boxelder bugs everywhere. The wood around the outside of the window was so rotted and thats how the bugs were getting in. Everything so outdate. I think we had mold on our bathroom sealing. The toilet was so disgusting and rusted. Potholes all over the parking lot. This whole needs an overhaul. Went for continental breakfast and no food left. We will never stay here again.

Great location, cheap and close to lots of things to see and do. Overall just a place to sleep. Rooms feel old and minimally maintained. Bathroom was cramped and no counter space. If your picky, this isn't the place for you.

Old, dumpy and uncomfortable beds. About what one should expect for the price, but it’s worth spending $20 more to get a more up to date room.

If I wasn’t too tired to drive any further, I would have picked somewhere else to stay. It is extremely dated and worn. The bed was pretty comfortable and sheets were clean, however. The bathroom was from 1970 and had mildew. The sink dropped and the fridge was noisy. It was cheap and close to the road though so it met my needs I guess.

No matter which of their eight networks you connect to, the best signal is two bars and it drops completely every few minutes. Cable stopped working a couple hours into my stay, possibly because of the wifi, but the front desk was closed so there was nothing to be done. Makes it impossible to do anything, and, ultimately, makes my stay boring and frustrating. Staff seemed annoyed to have to check me in.

The hotel was decent and staff were nice. The room was clean. The bed mattress felt like it might be a little old, but otherwise alright.

The lock on our room was broken, so they tried to tell us to go find another hotel until we called management. Then they gave us the master key for the entire motel because no other key would work.

Staff came into our room when we were in the room.

I had a room with 2 double beds reserved. We were running late to our concert in Somerset so we just checked in quick (as they have no check ins after 9pm) and went right to the venue without looking at the room. We returned around 12:30am, we were shocked to see only 1 king size bed and a chair. There were 4 of us! By this time no one was answering. So we made due. The toilet seat was broken and the AC was crap. It smelled musty without any airflow. The breakfast was cereal and milk and they had 1 bagel left. I did get ahold of the people there and he said that there was no way i didnt get the room i reserved even though i had my reservation in front of me to show him... he wouldn’t come out from his home (apartment?) on the other side of the front desk area. He told me I had to take that up with the company i booked it through. There was another lady in the lobby that overheard me talking on the front phone with them and proceeded to tell me all of the issues they have had for the 2 nights they were there. It was then that this owner or whoever came out of his home and out the door into the lobby. He proceeded to scream at the lady and tell her to stop "causing trouble" or he would have to call the cops. She was simply telling me he issues in a calm way. These people didnt even bother to check my reservation from my phone or offer anything as simple as an apology. I will NEVER EVER go to another one again. I will scream this horrible service from the rooftop for all to hear

This place is older but is clean. New owners working on upgrade. Great service.

DISGUSTING!! There were bugs walking on the floor, walls, doors and clusters in the corners of the ceiling. I picked a few up and flushed them down the toilet but then more would just appear! Finally we said the heck with it, and packed up! We went to the front desk to tell them we were leaving after only being there maybe 40 minutes and the front staff rudely said “Tis the season” which what? What does that even mean? The man offered a different room and we said absolutely not, we just packed our two small children up and we were heading home. They absolutely refused to give a refund. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. Horrible place, horrible staff and customer service! The place is a dump even without bugs! We would have crashed there for the night since we had a wedding and there are minimal hotel options in the area but nope with the bugs!! Avoid at all costs!!!!

No breakfast as advertised. Kept my incident deposit for stripping the beds and putting all linens in a pile for ease of grabbing them for laundry as we do at every motel we stay at and for having left behind some food.

Did my reservation on line. At check in I was charged another $60 for "incidentals". Asked if this was a security or damage deposit and was told no and that I would get the $60 refunded at checkout. The place was noisy and loud all night with people coming and going. The parking lot is full of potholes deep enough to cause damage to a vehicle or for an adult or child to fall into causing injury. At checkout I asked for my credit card to be credited the $60 and was denied. Innkeeper said I would see the credit on my statement in 5-6 business days. Tried to get a straight answer on what the fee was for but due to understanding each others language and the unbelievable arrogance of the Innkeeper who felt they could talk down to me, I left without a clear understanding. I would never stay at this location again and would rather sleep in my car. Would not recommend this place as a lodging choice for anyone.

The property was convenient to food and the Gandy Dancer bike trail. We moved from camping at the state park to the hotel because rain.

easy access to the highway . when its busy here its hard to get parking near your room .

This is an older motel. It is clean and kept up. The staff are accommodating. It is winter right now, the room is toasty warm and the bed is comfortable. Restaurants nearby. I will continue to stay here when traveling.

Supper club across the parking lot within walking distance

Friends and Family Motel.! We been coming here over an 3 years by now. Very nice location. 2 minutes far from Interstate park, 5 minutes Fawn Doe Rosa wild life park, 3 minutes from beautiful Taylor Falls, 6 minutes from Osceola train ride and so on. Gendy dancer trail right behind the property. Walking huge American restaurant bar & lounge. This place is not a fancy five star hotel but it is actually a very nice clean and best price motel in town. They been keeping this place well maintained from inside as what its mainly required. They have large warm pool and sauna. Price wise you wont get beat near around the area.

I can’t believe they charge money for this place. It was filthy and smelled like mold. The back door is held up with a door jam and no lock. It didn’t feel safe at all, especially with little kids. Terrible place and owners and Expedia should be ashamed of themselves.

Had no hot breakfast like it said on they website. The room is small and stinks. And no bathtub plug. Will never stay there again.

the "breakfast" was a joke completly empty monday morning. The "free high speed internet" needed a code to use but none was listed anywhere and when I tried to contact the "24 hour" front desk there was no one there.

Breakfast was terrible. No Pam for the waffle machine. Coffee was bad. Very limited on choices. Noise coming off and on all knight. Not sure where it was coming from. Very hard to get a good night sleep. Pillows are too small, need more than one of that size, or one larger pillow. Bathroom sink faucet leaked.
