Have stayed at the property many times the staff is always very courteous and especially the breakfast staff. She is super attentive to the needs of the guest and I always enjoy starting my day with a great breakfast there and then also enjoy the hot tub which there are not Available in many of the hotels nearby

This hotel is very clean and the people who work there are very attentive! The room is not fancy, but it is very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay, this is your best value. It is also located in a great area, surrounded by Costco, Walmart, ALDI, and food chains/restaurants. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, the A/C worked great, and it has a mini fridge and microwave. The lady from the breakfast was super nice every morning! The only thing that we didn’t like of our stay was that the room had a strong air freshener scent. Still a great time!

We had 2 queen beds and sofa bed. Room was clean. We stay for 2 nights but the clean crew didn’t come and empty trash and replenish towels next day, may have to remind thw front desk. Breakfast was ok. Front desk service was great. The sofa bed was too old and wasn’t very comfortable to sleep on. The Queen size beds were comfortable and clean.

We had a double queen suite room. It was very nice! Lots of room. Seperate bedroom allowed us to read while the kids watched TV in the next room. I likes that the suite had the sofa bed plus another sitting chair as well as another one in the bedroom. Aldi is located across the street which we walked to for snacks and water for our trip. Lots of familiar shopping and restaurants nearby. We were headed to New Orleans for a cruise and chose to stay here. Our Monday morning drive to cruise port was about 45 minutes with very little hold up. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and anything we needed or asked about they got right on it. True hospitality here! Can't say enough about that. The highway uses U-turns so be aware you can not turn left once at the main highway. Breakfast was good and hot! Eggs, Sausage, gravy, and biscuits. Self serve waffle maker. Would stay here again.

It’s average. Fine for the price and right near the freeway exit. Some smokers right out front (gross) so you have to walk through a cloud of nastiness, but the place is clean. I’ve stayed many times but this is probably going to be my last. WiFi connection is horrible and front desk staff seemed disinterested and checked out. Had better experiences in the past. Not sure what changed.

Clean and quiet. Hotel room was well-worn - definitely an older hotel, but the price last -minute was right. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the same can be said about most hotel breakfasts. Was not happy when housekeeping tried to break into my room before checkout time. If a guest hasn’t checked out yet staff should know that and not disturb them.

We were helped by Mary when we checked in and she was very helpful, friendly, and gave me great instructions on how to get around and return from our visit to New Orleans. My three daughters and I were there for the Friday night Taylor Swift concert and Mary made us feel very welcome and we really connected with her as she showed genuine hospitality. Her positive and caring personality is ideal for the guests.

When I stepped out of the shower at 6 o’clock in the morning, the fire alarm went off. When I asked the gentleman working at the front desk about this, I was told that it only goes off for a few seconds. I replied that I expected a better solution than that, and, and he shrugged his shoulders. Later, my brother asked if we could check out an hour later than the standard checkout time of 11 o’clock. The same gentleman at the front desk told him no with no explanation. My brother asked for this gentleman’s name, and he refused give it. This gentleman was strangely rude and there didn’t seem to be any reason for it.

We had a GREAT visit at Covington, LA and will be back sometime in the future. We went for a wedding and enjoyed the food and tours in the area. Mary at the front desk was a pleasure to talk to and Aileen was GREAT on the breakfast every morning.

This hotel uses straight ammonia to clean, and I think I had a migraine the entire time I stayed here…also the breakfast host started putting food away twenty minutes before breakfast was even over. It made us feel rushed and like an inconvenience.

The only thing that we didn’t like of our stay was that the room had a strong air freshener scent. Still a great time!

The front desk was very helpful. The gravy is terrible. Ya gotta work on getting the "snot effect" to be gone. This is the south, only scratch made gravy is acceptable.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at your hotel. Aileen who worked in the breakfast area made our mornings brighter she was cheerful kind and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The room was OK. For a family of 4 which includes two teen boys, the space felt a little cramped. One bed groaned horribly every time you rolled over. The a/c unit sounded like a net engine every time it turned on. The smoke alarm flashed a light down upon the ned all night long. The breakfast was adequate - the sausage and the sausage gravy tasted a bit of - not gone bad, just weird. They ran out of coffee.

We had noisy people down the hall till after midnight and a loud tv nearby that ran all night long. The breakfast was just fair, and no variation at all in what was offered.

Overall good trip. I dont normally sleep well but the bed was good enough to rest. The breakfast was okay. Didn’t see much variety and didn't like the eggs at all.

Nice hotel with a nice full hot breakfast. Friendly staff and quiet and clean. Hotel was a bit more then I would have liked to pay but all hotels were running a bit high for Covington.

Clean room and comfortable bed - I appreciated the first floor location. Had a decent gym. Pleasant staff. Breakfast was just ok - typical fare but really bad coffee. No herbal or green teas available (English breakfast only which I do not like).

I cannot begin to say how helpful this staff was. They were so kind. Breakfast was so good always hot and Alene at the breakfast buffet who was the sweetest thing super helpful. The room was older but clean. I appreciated having a bathtub. Parking was very good right out front easy access in a good area. I would definitely go back if I were to be in the area it would be my go to place even though I’m used to staying in a newer facility. I enjoyed every minute there and would do it again. There was a nice refrigerator and Keurig for in-house coffee before going to the breakfast bar. Everything was great highly recommend.

I have stayed here several times of the years and found this to be my best stay. It seemed cleaner through out and the staff was well trained and very helpful. The parking is easy and the breakfast although not outstanding was very acceptable. The bathroom products were full and seemed to be better quality. I will return. I had stayed away from this hotel for a while. It clearly now meets the standards I desire.
