Staff were 2nd to none, helpfull in every way, with beaming smiles. We had a bunk bed room, top bunk was a bit awkward for me, as im 53, stairs were a bit creaky, shower was excellent, breakfast was good, coffee and tea available all day. I would definitely stay there again.

Lilian was absolutely amazing. My bags were lost in transit and she helped me so much. You can safely store bags there while you're hiking overnight. The room was tidy and had everything I needed. I would stay here again!

El staff es muy amable, Lilian y Leila están siempre dispuestas en aconsejar los mejor trekkings dependiendo de las condiciones atmosféricas del día y informarte sobre el estado de los senderos (dificultad, mejor rutas) y de sus naturaleza (bosque, rocas, ramas de calafate, etc). Posada sencilla pero muy cómoda y acogedora. Gaston y Lili nos ayudaron mucho a entender cuales senderos nos convenían más según el clima. Un poco lejos de los restaurantes y del sendero al Fitz Roy comparado a los otros hostales de la zona, pero más cerca de la terminal de Omnibus, entonces la ubicación esta bien si tienes que irte temprano. Las habitaciones tienen vista a las montaña. Lo recomiendo si buscan alojamiento tranquilo y cálido en el Chalten.

El Chalten it’s such a gorgeous and beautiful place. So no matter where you are staying, you cannot be but happy. This was a cute little hostel/guest house. The biggest asset of this place is Laila and Lila the two wonderful front desk lady’s. They are always cheerful with wonderful tips, and answered all the questions. The place is hostel like so Of course the rooms are super small, but adequate for a few days. Interestingly, my experience was the opposite of any experiences I have ever heard. They actually charged me less than what Expedia quoted, which was a huge surprise. I would recommend this place if you are planning on hiking and not spending too much time, in your dwelling, the price is unbeatable.

Much more a 1 star hostel than anything else. Positive: breakfast Negative: everything else: 0 soundproofing, cheap bedsheets, insisted to pay a USD bill in ARS. No early check in as customer still in room and 2 days later, cant late check out 1h as next customers are coming, what a joke really knowing check in is 15, check out 10… Wont come back

J’ai trouvé Diana et Anna formidable. Genre d’employés précieux que toute entreprise aimerait avoir. Elles ont été généreuses avec nos nombreuses questions. Excellent déjeuner et on nous a même fait un petit déjeuner pour emporter vu que nous partions pour une randonnée très tôt. Nous garderons de bons souvenirs d’El Chalten et vous êtes faites partie!!

We loved staying at the Posada San Antonio. Mariana, Anita and company were great, made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast here is so good, especially the eggs, and it helped fueled us for the start of our day. Mariana also provided great advice and guidance on the hikes that we could do based on the weather conditions. Would definitely book our stay here again if we return to El Chalten.

가격에 비하면, 게스트하우스 수준인데, 비싼감이 옶지 않아 있는~~ 위치는 버스터미널에서는 가까워서 좋지만, 하이킹 입구에서는 가장 먼 곳에 있습니다. 그래도 아침조식의 직접 해 주시는 스크램블은 환상이었네요~~

I appreciated the fact that the hotel was off the Main Street so it was a little quieter than others would have been; do keep in mind that that means you’ll have farther to walk to get to the trailhead for Laguna de Los Tres though.
