I was very upset that neither Expedia nor the hotel was clear on the fact that there was a Exorbitant pet fee. All the person checking me in would say was that I didn't book directly with them so there's was nothing she would do. Rip off.

We have stayed here several times. It is convenient for us on our way to Florida and is very quiet. It is just off I-75 and the staff is always very nice. Room is clean and has a full sized refrigerator.

My husband and I stayed here two nights with our small dog. It was a great stay. We had a king suite. It's very spacious and clean. The location is great, very easy access to 75. The bed was very comfortable. I like that it has a full size fridge, microwave and a couple of burners if you want to cook something to save on eating takeout. I love that there is a walk-in shower. There's plenty of parking and the area is safe. There's a Publix right across the street along with several restaurants to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great. The scrambled eggs were very good. This is the second time I've stayed here when visiting Macon. I highly recommend.

Expedia and so called pet friendly hotels have to start disclosing the extent of pet charges prior to check in. Some don't charge. Some do. This homewood suites was $75. At check in.

Truth in other reviews, this property is substandard to the brand. Really needs refreshing, updating. Found live insects in the room. Dead insects lined the peeling ceiling wallpaper in the bathroom. Why this was consistently overlooked? The sofabed mattress is extremely worn and thin, and very uncomfortable. I added two blankets under the fitted sheet for my family members comfort. Room 300. The breakfast is good, though the hours are somewhat limited and if you arrive later you may be limited in selections. It appears theres a set amount that’s available and when it’s exhausted that’s it. Parking is available and plentiful. Property is close to shopping.restaurants and the interstate.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean, however The carpet and furniture had been cleaned and was wet. I had to put a double layer of towels on the sofa and chair, otherwise we would not have been able to sit down. The tiled floors were very slippery and the carpet did not dry the whole evening.

The woman who checked us in was sweet. The room looked rough. Lots of marks/boogers/blood (?) on the wall. Old food was on the floor. Top comforter sheet had stains, but the actual bedsheets seemed clean. In the end, got the job done. Breakfast staff hit me in the back with a food cart (I have a bad/handicapped back). Didn’t acknowledge me or say sorry. For the price, not great.

Terrible checked in and then out within 30mims of being there the only nice thing was the front desk older lady. Hall way to our room did not have air . Room was old smelled musty was very dirty nothing seemed cleaned. The beds were dirty the one mattress had huge blood stains. Bugs in the bathroom the room above us were so loud you could hear them running constantly. Request d a refund now I am just waiting for management!

long story short, had a reservation at another Hilton hotel, we were advised to come to this hotel due to the other location having fecal matter on toilet seat and pubic hair in the shower, and the bed was made but had indentions of where someone had been sitting on the top of the bed. So went to this location hoping to have a better experience. Thankfully the toilet was clean and the bed was fresh, but the shower was nasty and showed grim in the cracks and the facility itself was dirty. Then we got woken up at 9am from the house cleaning crew trying to push us out. Once we said we werent ready they proceeded to be EXTRA loud. For Hilton to be such a name brand, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

There were 5 adults and we had 3 beds plus a sitting are and a kitchenette. A king sized bed and HUGE bathroom that is wheelchair accessible for sink and toilet. Has lots of grab bars for tub and shower, but bring a shower stool. 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds and a bathroom with shower/tub and toilet in bathroom, which was a little tight. The sink is outside of bathroom. The sitting area has sleeper sofa which was nice. Kitchenette has a two burner stove, dishwasher, sink and a full size fridge. Very clean

Hotel staff was great! Rooms needed a refresh and bed was horribly uncomfortable. TV could be updated so I could use my netflix, prime etc. Unfortunately, I don't think I would stay in there again

The room is seriously outdated. The furniture and decor is straight out of the 1970s. Thanks for the tour of Archie Bunker's house! I won't risk stating at a Homewood Suites again

Went for a wedding. Which most of the people at the wedding were at this hotel. We had to leave early since it was a quick trip for us. We tried to get a late check out so we could shower and get ready for an afternoon wedding. Would not do it. Said there was a wedding staying here and they needed the rooms. I said we are here for the wedding. Nope would not budge. I don’t get late check outs too often but never have we been completely denied. Check out was at 11 I asked for a 2 hour extension. Should have stayed at the Marriot.

Arrived around 830-845 in the evening. 3 kids aged 2-10 had been cramped in the car for 9 hours. Wishing 10 minutes in the room we had a noise complaint 🙃 kids needed to run out some energy. Front desk called being rude saying we need to be quiet or find somewhere else to stay. Room walls and curtains were dingey. Holes in walls, bathroom was mildew smell and holes patched poorly around shower. Absolutely no shampoo or conditioner in the bottles. Weird smell throughout room. Luckily it was just for the night

Great location. Hotel is close to the highway with multiple food and shopping options. The hotel lobby was spacious and looked nice. The hotel offered a variety to eat on the breakfast bar. My only concerns: 1. the floors needed to be swept/vacuumed and mopped well. Too much of the previous guest’s hair was left on the floor indicating that the floors needed to swept/vaccumed. 2. And there was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower.
