Was willing to try the OYO brand for the first time and wow...this was bad!! First room had broken remote and broken dresser. Second room i had to eliminate 2 bugs on the sink! Bed was very old and towels were clean but stained. OYO should pull the flag on this one! Booked through hotels.com so no chance to move on. Already paid.

First of all, it was 330 before I could get checked in. The room was disgusting. It was dirty. Fixtures were broken, appliances were rusty and missing parts. The comforter had a stain in the bed did not feel clean. The floor was dirty the cold water handle on the bathtub was broken, pieces missing off the counter in the bathroom. There was trash behind one of the bedside tables I could go on and on I took multiple pictures of this room and the shape.

Terrible hotel. Worst I have ever been. Dirty, smell musty, moldy and old tobacco despite room should be non smoking. Door was bent to scattered. Spider nets all over the room especially roofs. Lights was broken at washroom. Towel rack was torn out from wall.

Do not stay here, there are bed bugs. The property also looks nothing like any of the photos because they were taken years ago. A lot of the doors were broken into, the floors were dirty, everything metal is rusted, bedsheets were partially burnt. The tv had been stolen so they gave us one that didn’t work. We also had to ask multiple times for them to give us cards to our room once we checked in, after they changed our room 3 times. You get what you pay for. There’s a newly renovated OYO in north Jackson, though.

Night teller extremely racist..owner extremely rude..throws keys at u instead of handing them to you..bed covers and sheets dingy and damp..walls had huge holes in them..the air conditioner barely worked..the outlets didn’t work at all..and the towels looked like someone was changing oil with them and I saw roaches as well

Does OYO not even know who did or did not check into their place? We ended up staying at the Quality Inn in Hazlehurst, MS. We arrived at OYO a little before 3 pm. No one was around. We found the place in a state of complete disrepair. What a hole we thought. I told my wife maybe they're remodeling, and we should see what the rooms looked like. So, we went and put gas in our car and came back about 25 minutes later. Still, nobody was around. Us and other people pounded on the door. After about 15 minutes of that and lastly calling the phone number provided (347-752-4159) and getting no human to talk to on the other end, we gave up and left. Pissed off and tired after already driving 12+ hours, we called other Hotels and found a place to stay the night. It's highly unlikely we'll stay at the OYO again and that brings up the trustworthiness of Expedia. How can you recommend a place like that?

We booked a room through Expedia late in the evening as we decided to stop in Jackson. When we arrived at the hotel, all lights were out and the hotel had no power. The city was hit with a storm and many places had no power. The night manager was outside the office of the motel and advised us that we could not check in or honor the reservation. Other cars pulled as well. We all had to leave and keep trying. I have tried several times to get customer help through Expedia and the hotel to refund the payment. No response has been given. This has been a frustrating experience. Please understand that I am a consistent user of Expedia and book 30 nights a year or so. I have never had an experience like this.

Filthy, broken down, smelly room and stained furniture. Black stained white towels. Terrible, rude, customer service from employee at front desk. Did not stay. I got there late at night after a 12 hour drive to find out that the lady in charge gave my room away. I had to find a different hotel. She gave me a ton of attitude and acted like she was doing me a favor. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time in any industry.

Went to property to check in at about 1030pm and all check in staff was missing n on wall was a phone number for the manager. U had to call the manager to check in. The key card I got when I checked in had a different address and phone number than the hotel. When I got to the room, there was no remote for the TV. So I had to go back to the front desk to ask for one. They promised they would bring it to the room, but they never did. Also, we were 2 people traveling, but there was only 1 set of towels in the room, when I asked for a second towel for my husband, the woman at the front desk told me that it is only 1 set of towels per room, even if there are more than 1 person staying !!! The airconditioning made so much noise that we had to turn it off to be able to sleep, But it was in Mississippi in June, so we ended up not being able to sleep because it was getting to hot. There are also trains passing by behind the hotel throughout the night.

Absolutely disgusting property!! I wish I could upload pictures . On top of that, the property charged me an extra $30 to have the same room.That I paid for in full on the website. Staff was rude and un helpful. Drug use was very prevalent at this location as well. Very sketchy if I could give 0 stars I would.
