Modern cabin in a good facility. Kids loved the bouncy balloon and small playground. Great communal outdoor space/kitchen. The bunk bed mattresses were hard but not awful. Laundry facilities available for $5 per machine use (in hindsight having now continued travelling further south we should have washed everything before we left because washing has been the biggest pain).

Perfect spot for familys. Amazing facilities loved the bbq area complete with fridges microwaves toaster kettle and even a lrg tv. Perfect to just bring minimal supplies.

Really nice area, nice tidy park with big pool and play area for kids. Friendly staff with great communication. Stayed in a cabin, bathroom a bit small but otherwise great for size. Would like to come back again and take advantage of the camping grounds. A hike to the beach but great views on the way

The pool area is amazing, love that there is a spa too! Nice little cafe for breakfast if you need it. The upstairs deck looking onto the pool was closed when we were there, hopefully it’s open next time, looks like a great spot to have a couple of drinks after a long day!

loved he onsite cafe, made for an easy start to the morning. The splash park and pool looked inviting however it was cold so we didn't take a dip. Kids loved the jumping pillow and walk to the beach

We stayed on a townhouse. It was clean and comfy. Great facilities especially the swimming pool and heated spa. The grounds were great for kids to ride bikes and rollerblade. Great to have the air-conditioning in the living areas and main bedroom.

Love love loved this cabin! Ample space, ultra clean, clean comfy bedding, towels, soaps, conditioners, lotions, well stocked kitchen supplies, couch, ac, covered porch with seating, walk to the beach (might be tough trek for some undulating sand) but the coastal views well worth the trek! Fun large pool areas with comfortable nice loungers, sunny and shaded areas. The restaurant/bar was not open when we arrived which was disappointing but we Lund a market nearby. The koala refuge is right next door so we popped in there. Loved the birds and trees as well. Great stay!

The cabin was gone for an overnight stopover but well away from Newcastle and probably not the ideal stopover. Room was decent sized. Plumbing wasn’t the greatest. Shower glass wasn’t great as water leaked through. There was sand on the bed sheets and lots of bugs about but expected considering the location. A solid 3 star stay, staff were wonderful. If camping vibes is your thing, great stay.

I really wanted to give this place a good rating. The 2 bedroom cabin I was staying in was infested with cockroaches. I stayed in Cabin No. 38. The cockroaches were everywhere; in the toilet, bedroom and the kitchen. There was a dead coackroach in between the cutlery. Also the 2nd bedroom was very dirty. There was dust and hair on the floor and the beds had dirty and used mattress protectors and pillowcases. I had to complain to the ground keeper. He was really understanding and gave me new bedsheets and mattress protectors. The Admin staff were also quite nice. But the housekeeping and sanitation at this place was terrible. Also the water from the tap smelled like swimming pool water. There was way too much chlorine in it.

The cabin wasn’t as clean as we thought it would be and we thought of maybe cleaning out the spa that was in the bathroom before using it. We didn’t end up using it as black particles came out once we cleaned it. Our bed sheets had marks on them and the place smelt musty throughout our whole stay. The bed sheets didn’t smell like they had been washed. The bed was so soft that my partner and I had the worst back aches during and after our stay. Luckily we bought our own airfreshners and cleaning products to make the 5 days we stayed in the cabin more bearable. Also the Netflix function doesn’t work, we only found out about this on the afternoon we checked into our cabin and tried to connect it. The only highlight of have our stay is we had lorikeets that would come up to our cabin door and they were super friendly while we fed them apples. This place has a lot of potential but unfortunately it didn’t offer us a place of feeling like we were on a holiday.

Enjoyed our family stay. Cabin was comfortable, and clean with good space. Wifi was very stable to stream shows and movies. loved the pool area, with pools for all requirements. Good children's play pool area. Beach was a bit of a hike to get to, for older people . Children's play area a little small. Cooking facilities were excellent.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, very small & dark. Needed to Have lights on all the time, otherwise to draw back curtains meant no privacy. Not quite what we were expecting but saying that the amenities were great for families. The walk to the beach well worth it

The property was easy to get to and to visit other places as long as you had a car. The walking access to the beach was relatively easy and amenities on the property good. The cabin spa accommodation I stayed in was excellent with plenty of space and comfort. I could highly recommend this to any family or couple or single person.

We were very impressed with the facilities’s text messaging service advising us of different details and options. Our cabin was outstanding with everything we could hope for! For us, being walking distance to Samurai Beach was a wonderful bonus! Seemed to have wonderful facilities for families and kids. Would highly recommend to anyone.

For us, being walking distance to Samurai Beach was a wonderful bonus! Seemed to have wonderful facilities for families and kids. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The cabin was gone for an overnight stopover but well away from Newcastle and probably not the ideal stopover. Room was decent sized. Plumbing wasn’t the greatest. Shower glass wasn’t great as water leaked through. There was sand on the bed sheets and lots of bugs about but expected considering the location. A solid 3 star stay, staff were wonderful. If camping vibes is your thing, great stay.

Really nice area, nice tidy park with big pool and play area for kids. Friendly staff with great communication. Stayed in a cabin, bathroom a bit small but otherwise great for size. Would like to come back again and take advantage of the camping grounds. A hike to the beach but great views on the way

The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed for the few days we where there. It was a lovely bush walk to the beach and the site was so clean and tidy. Thanks to the staff - cheerful and courteous.

Very nice clean rooms, we went with a group of families and our villas were near each other, it’s a great place for a family getaway. The staff were so nice and accommodating! I will definitely be back there again!

We were very impressed with the facilities’s text messaging service advising us of different details and options. Our cabin was outstanding with everything we could hope for! Love love loved this cabin! Ample space, ultra clean, clean comfy bedding, towels, soaps, conditioners, lotions, well stocked kitchen supplies, couch, ac, covered porch with seating, walk to the beach (might be tough trek for some undulating sand) but the coastal views well worth the trek! Fun large pool areas with comfortable nice loungers, sunny and shaded areas. The restaurant/bar was not open when we arrived which was disappointing but we Lund a market nearby. The koala refuge is right next door so we popped in there. Loved the birds and trees as well. Great stay!

The property was easy to get to and to visit other places as long as you had a car. The walking access to the beach was relatively easy and amenities on the property good. The cabin spa accommodation I stayed in was excellent with plenty of space and comfort. I could highly recommend this to any family or couple or single person.

The pool area is amazing, love that there is a spa too! Nice little cafe for breakfast if you need it. The upstairs deck looking onto the pool was closed when we were there, hopefully it’s open next time, looks like a great spot to have a couple of drinks after a long day!

loved he onsite cafe, made for an easy start to the morning. The splash park and pool looked inviting however it was cold so we didn't take a dip. Kids loved the jumping pillow and walk to the beach

Staff were friendly and nice . Very easy check in . Room on the other hand, a funny smell to it. Was very dirty. The walls had stains, the skirting boards were full of dust . The spa bath had hair scattered around in it. There was no remote to the tv . The lounge had huge stains all over it . It was disgusting and hard to even sit on it , it stunk so bad .
