Michelberger Hotel

Super-adorable boutique hotel. Staff were really helpful. The restaurant recommendations were really helpful (Thanks, Eric!!). Rooms are small, but nice and comfortable. Sauna is a cool amenity. Bar/coffee area are really nice as well. Right next to metro station and in a very interesting Berlin neighborhood. Highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly. The court yard provided a great relaxing environment.

Es war wunderbar! Ein tolles Zimmer für drei. Das Bett war super! Wir liebten die Bar, rundum super! Nur der „Fitnessraum“ ist etwas klein. Mehr als 2/3 Leute passen nicht rein. Es gibt ein Laufband und ein paar Gewichte. Trotzdem das Hotel ist super!!

Dejligt værelse og personale! Rigtig dejligt med en tur i sauna. Eneste note er at det ville være skønt at kunne lave te og kaffe

Very cool, cosy hotel with style! Amazing lobby with stylish decor, DJ, nice bar and ambiance! Room setting is pleasant, super comfy bed! Totally recommended! Amazing breakfast/brunch, yet I had disappointing dinner at same restaurant as it has too particular concept of food, very limited selection, and eventually too pricey for the served portions, so its pretty strange concept for the place to be at the hotel location where you got guests from all over the world.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel! The staff at the front desk were really nice and gave us a free glass of cava when we told them it was our anniversary. The hotel is really cool and trendy. They have a nice café and a nice outdoors area. The only negative thing is that they don't have ac. So the room was hot during the night. Would stay here again for sure.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Delicious farm to table breakfasts. Great scene for mingling, music, or getting some work done in the lobby. As good or better than many hotels that are far more expensive. Highly recommend.

Walking into the hotel was like an energizing cosy hug from Berlin! Welcoming and unpretentious bar and lobby. Lovely staff. Great large room with 5 bed options and well planned accommodation. The restaurant, courtyard and sauna were all massive bonuses that made it a perfect couple of days.

I loved the reception area with the café next to it. The lounge was great. I loved my room, it was clean and big. I went to a concert and I walked to the venue. Next to the hotel there is a mall.

Such a nice hotel with super friendly staff. All went really well. The interior is beautiful and clean, I really liked the style. The location is perfect. It is incredibly how they have succeeded with such easygoing atmosphere while the surroundings are the most hectic parts of Berlin. The only minus is that the internet connection is super bad.

Wir waren (leider) nur für eine Nacht dort und hatten einen kleinen Cozyraum. Das Bett war das bequemste, indem ich je geschlafen habe. Alles sauber. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Michelberger prøver at være et hipt sted, hvor reception, café, bar er kombineret i stueetagen i et ungdommeligt design. Det er dog primært midaldrende par, som finder frem til hotellet - måske forbi mange unge vil finde prisniveauet for højt. Generelt er på hotellet valgt billige løsninger i dårlig kvalitet, som i nogle tilfælde er et designvalg, men i mange tilfælde er det bare løsninger i dårlig kvalitet for at spare penge. Sengen på værelset fylder halvdelen af værelset og er klemt inde mellem badeværelse og vindue, så man skal kravle op i sengen. Resten af det meget lille værelse anvendes til badeværelsesvask og entre. Badeværelset inkl. bad og toilet har et stort vindue ud til værelset, hvilket sikrer ingen privatliv, hvis man er to, der deler dobbeltværelset. Seng og pudder er et kapitel for sig. Jeg overnatter 30-50 dage om året på hotel, og jeg mindes ikke, at jeg har sovet så dårligt nogensinde på et hotel. Det kan også skyldes, at indeklimaet er utrolig dårlig, så værelset nærmest tømmes for ilt. Og da værelset ligger ud til en støjende plads for skraldebiler, der starter dagen ved 5-tiden om morgenen, så er det ikke muligt at åbne vinduet uden meget støj. Støjisoleringen mod gangen er også meget dårlig, så en almindelig samtale let høres på værelset. Det betyder, at man i løbet af natten vil høre forskellige gæster kommer hjem. Vi betalte 100 euro pr. nat, hvilket vist er meget billigt ift., hvad de ofte tager. Ville aldrig betale mere 100 euro pr. nat.

Die Heizkörper sind sehr staubig gewesen. Mit Hausstauballergie macht so etwas überhaupt keinen Spaß. Die Zimmertüren knallen sehr laut zu. Das Personal spricht zum Teil besser Englisch als Deutsch. Lage ist gut.

Keine Klimaanlage, Bett unbequem, Frühstück für 27 Euro - zu teuer und nichts besonderes... Insgesamt für 1 Tag/3 Personen - fast 300 Euro..., na ja... das ist Berlin

Das Hotel hat eine sehr günstige Lage, nahe an S/U-Bahn, und die Uber Arena ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Etwas irritierend fand ich das man zuerst vor einer Bar steht wenn man reinkommt. Dort war es auch sehr laut. Nachdem ich die Rezeption gefunden hatte wurde ich sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Beim Einchecken musste ich jedoch sofort nochmal 50 Euro bezahlen, obwohl bereits alles von mir im voraus erledigt war. Begründung war, es sei eine Sicherheitsleistung für die Nutzung der Minibar oder des Zimmerservice. Im Zimmer fand ich allerdings nur eine Flasche Wasser vor. Mein Zimmer lag zur Hofseite und entgegen anderer Bewertungen war es sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war das kleinste was ich jemals in einem Hotel gesehen habe. Kein Schrank, kein Tisch, kein Stuhl. Für eine Nacht ist das ok, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt absolut ungeeignet. Das " Bad " war sehr sauber, hat jedoch nur eine sehr spärliche Beleuchtung und in der Dusche ist es sehr glatt. Ein Waschbecken hat leider nicht mehr ins " Bad " gepasst, sodas es neben dem Bett angebracht wurde. Zwischen dem Bett und der Dusche war ein großes Fenster, WARUM ?? Ich möchte keine Zuschauer beim Duschen. Das Bett war sehr bequem, schöne fluffige Decken. Man kann allerdings nur vom Fußende drauf krabbeln. Der TV ist sinnlos, es gibt nur ein paar Haussender. Auch das Frühstück war enttäuschend, für Veganer ok, aber kaum Wurst und Käseauswahl. Insgesamt muss ich das Hotel nicht nochmal haben.

Super klima, tolles Frühstück. Sehr angenehmer Innenhof zum chillen. Leider war es im Zimmer viel zu heiss, dadurch konnte man sehr schlecht schlafen.

The location, atmosphere, customer service was great. There were a few small things that I didn’t like about the room (the room was really hot, when opening the window it was then really loud), there was no light in the room, the wife connection was very weak.

The property is very unique and inviting. It is in what is supposedly a “hip” area of Berlin. As with most cities around the world hip seems to mean neglected, graffiti and stickers in every surface, lots of homeless people and open drug dealing! The room was small with very little storage but sufficient for a couple of nights. The bed could only be accessed from the end rather than the side so only for people with reasonable agility!! There was a window through to the shower and toilet that could be viewed from the bed which was a bit strange! I assumed it was a 2-way mirror which could be activated by a light (as in a previous hotel) but apparently not! Fortunately a hot shower afforded the privacy required!! The hotel claims to be eco-friendly which is admirable, which made it all the more confusing that there were televisions playing silently to themselves at the end of each corridor! Bizarre! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Once in the hotel it felt safe and was quiet.

This is a fun and funky hotel! It is so close to the S and U bahns. The staff was great and they were very nice. The room we were in had a window in the bathroom that looked out into the bedroom. That was weird. And our bed was super tight, squeezed into a corner. I think each room is different and quirky like that which makes it fun.

Trevlig personal och rent och snyggt i hotellet. Jag bodde i ett enkelrum där sängen var placerad i en alkov. Det gjorde att det inte var helt lätt att ta sin ner i sängen, om man som jag har smärre ryggproblem, man fick äntra sängen från kortändan. Men när man väl var på plats sov man som en kung!

I loved my stay at this hotel, with its beautiful room design, amazing courtyard, and fantastic food. However, I felt the hotel catered to large corporate groups a lot more than they did to the individual guests. I was quite disappointed to have them forget our orders on multiple occasions.

I loved the Hotel Michelberger…super comfortable and great staff . So nice to be able to just walk downstairs in the lounge for coffee in the morning or a drink really nice modern room and I will stay there again.

Tolle Unterkunft, nah an der Arena (fußläufig erreichbar). Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder :)

This is terrific hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful. It's got such personality and vibe. It's also perfectly located from all the art and clubs! Definitely my go to hotel from now on.

Lovely hotel, lots of nearby bars and restaurants. Really nice Xmas market nearby. Rooms beautiful with high ceilings and comfy beds. Hotel lobby and bar were great.

Gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis! Perfekt wenn man zur Zuber Eats Halle oder Arena will. Die Spree ist auch super nah!

Fantastisch, eigenzinnig hotel midden tussen de leukste wijken van Berlijn. De (cosy) kamers zijn simpel maar comfortabel ingericht met een heerlijk bed. Het ontbijt is geweldig en de bar heeft hele lekkere cocktails. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Oh en het ruikt heerlijk in de lobby.

The scrambled eggs (and everything else) on the breakfast buffet was probably the best I’ve had. They use high quality ingredients and it really makes a difference. Another thing I appreciated was the large windows in our loft room. Thank you, Michelberger, for a lovely stay!

Betten unbequem, Frühstück (für das was man geboten bekommt) viel zu teuer.......Glücklicherweise war der Aufenthalt für nur eine Nacht.......

Excellent stay at a hotel that is close to many things. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming for 25€ but the atmosphere at the hotel made up for it. It’s a 2 minute walk from the last section of the Wall. The front desk staff made everyone feel good.
