Nice place but terrible staff. At the front desk it clearly states that the sauna can be turned on by request, at least two hours before use. We requested it be turned on in the morning and were told it would only be turned on in the afternoon. Why put the sign there if it's a lie? Then at checkout, we were a about 15 mins late and they wanted us to pay €20. The room wasn't even rented that night (I asked the night before in case we wanted to extend)

Sehr schönes Hotel. Sicherlich mit Potenzial im Wellnessbereich. Besonderes emotionales Highlight ist, dass König Ludwig II. hier geschlafen hat.

Hôtel typique la région, très belle déco, SItué sur une rue piétonne. Vous avez un garage couvert derrière l hôtel pour un tarif de 5€ par jour. Hôtel bien placé pour visiter les lacs, les gorges et le point culminant de l’Allemagne.

El hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación. Cerca puedes encontrar bares, restaurantes y super mercados. La habitacion en genereal esta bien, comoda y limpia. El diseño llama la atencion y creo que va acorde con el lugar. El hotel tiene un aparcamiento reducido pero a espaldas, a menos de 100m se encuentra un aparcamiento publico subterraneo que cuesta 5€ por dia. El personal fue agradable y atento. Al llegar nos ofrecieron una bebida de cortesia

It's surrounded by a number of stores and restaurants. If you walk up the nearby hillside (towards the church on the hill), there's even the nicest little beer garden on the hill w/ a great view of the town and mountains. Parking is a little tough, but there is parking behind the hotel and there's a nearby underground garage about 100ft away, which costs around 5 EUR per day. We love this hotel and we'd highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Lage, Aussicht, Sauna und vor allem das freundliche und zuvorkommende Team sind erstklassig. Das historische Gebäude ist sehr beeindruckend, müsste jedoch einmal tiefer renoviert werden. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert, weil uns der Preis dafür deutlich zu hoch war. Massage, Hamam und Fitnessraum waren leider nicht verfügbar.
Lage, Aussicht, Sauna und vor allem das freundliche und zuvorkommende Team sind erstklassig. Das historische Gebäude ist sehr beeindruckend, müsste jedoch einmal tiefer renoviert werden. I love how comfortable the bed is! I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores. The hotel is about 12 minutes from the center / Marienplatz. I’d recommend it for solo travelers if they plan to visit Garmisch

This hotel offers nothing that you would expect from a 4 1/2* hotel. The view is certainly magnificent if you have a room with a mountain view, but that\'s about it. Those who like the "flair" of the (very) old days are in good hands here, but even that doesn\'t give the impression of 4 1/2* anywhere The bathrooms and breakfast were good.

The Atlas was clean, quaint, comfortable and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful! The breakfast and the dining room were amazing! It was the best breakfast we had eaten in our 11 days in Germany. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend.

Old but historic hotel with the bath being renovated. Furnitures look more than two hundreds old, including bed frame. But bed mattress are firm and comfort. Overall A- grade.

So we had cobwebs in rafters, the check in was a joke. We arrived around 630pm or 7pm no one at desk hit the bell a couple of times no one came 10min later guy came from bar area gave me keys to second floor no assistance with luggage no elevator. Left me form to fill out while he went back to bar area. During the night for 2 hours literally a male person was loudly banging on a door trying to get in no one to contact as we had no information provided on check in. Everyone who checked out in am complained about the noise and sleep disturbance a sorry was provided and nothing else. Little disappointing for the price.

Stunning view from balcony, they helped unload and bring luggage up to room. We were meet with moist warm towels to freshen up and glass of champagne while checking in. You are right in the heart of great food and drink and hiking trails. The gondola to Wank Mountain is a 25 minute walk away. Worth it!! Loved our stay here.

Charming old world hotel with authentic details. Comfortable room with all amenities. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, had omelet station in addition to large spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits and more. Lovely fresh squeezed orange juice too. Staff extremely accommodating and lots of space to relax.

Had a traditional alpine feel to the hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a nice location. Pro tip get a room not on the street side the church bells are loud.

We loved this property. The staff was helpful. The views were breathtaking. The room and property were charming and cozy. There is no ac, but we didn’t really need it. There is an elevator. It is in Partenkirchen, which we just lucked out on being the better choice. It is more classic and quaint.

Service from the night reception was excellent. The room was a bit warm and he found a standing fan for us. He also recommended nearby restaurants and was generally very helpful. The room was a bit dated but that was to be expected for an old hotel. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the water was hot. The hotel breakfast was excellent with a fresh orange juice machine, omelette station chef was fabulous with his presentation and there was fresh honeycomb.

Great hotel with awesome front desk staff who speaks English so well he can even joke with you! Super convenient with choice of restaurants and a pharmacy directly across. Breakfast is lovely with fresh bread and a coffee and an orange juice machine.

Everyone who checked out in am complained about the noise and sleep disturbance a sorry was provided and nothing else. Little disappointing for the price.

I love how comfortable the bed is! I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores. The hotel is about 12 minutes from the center / Marienplatz. I’d recommend it for solo travelers if they plan to visit Garmisch

Hôtel typique la région, très belle déco, SItué sur une rue piétonne. Vous avez un garage couvert derrière l hôtel pour un tarif de 5€ par jour. Hôtel bien placé pour visiter les lacs, les gorges et le point culminant de l’Allemagne.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It has a lot of personality and the staff were wonderful. Everything was comfortable and very clean. The general location is really good. It's surrounded by a number of stores and restaurants. If you walk up the nearby hillside (towards the church on the hill), there's even the nicest little beer garden on the hill w/ a great view of the town and mountains. Parking is a little tough, but there is parking behind the hotel and there's a nearby underground garage about 100ft away, which costs around 5 EUR per day. We love this hotel and we'd highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Had a traditional alpine feel to the hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a nice location. Pro tip get a room not on the street side the church bells are loud.

This place was amazing. Such interesting history, so charming. Located right in the middle of the old part of town. Close to buses and trains. The only thing I would have preferred would have been a fan in my room. I’m used to not having air conditioning in Europe, especially in a centuries old hotel, but a regular fan would have been a godsend. Otherwise, spectacular views and a cozy feel.

Charming old world hotel with authentic details. Comfortable room with all amenities. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, had omelet station in addition to large spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits and more. Lovely fresh squeezed orange juice too. Staff extremely accommodating and lots of space to relax.

Service from the night reception was excellent. The room was a bit warm and he found a standing fan for us. He also recommended nearby restaurants and was generally very helpful. The room was a bit dated but that was to be expected for an old hotel. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the water was hot. The hotel breakfast was excellent with a fresh orange juice machine, omelette station chef was fabulous with his presentation and there was fresh honeycomb.

This hotel offers nothing that you would expect from a 4 1/2* hotel. The view is certainly magnificent if you have a room with a mountain view, but that\'s about it. Those who like the "flair" of the (very) old days are in good hands here, but even that doesn\'t give the impression of 4 1/2* anywhere The bathrooms and breakfast were good.

The Atlas was clean, quaint, comfortable and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful! The breakfast and the dining room were amazing! It was the best breakfast we had eaten in our 11 days in Germany. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend.

Great hotel with awesome front desk staff who speaks English so well he can even joke with you! Super convenient with choice of restaurants and a pharmacy directly across. Breakfast is lovely with fresh bread and a coffee and an orange juice machine.
