This hotel is very conveniently located in the center of the city--a close walk to everything. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean. Very helpful staff. The breakfast is basic but all items are fresh. Limited coffee choices.

This particular Bishops Arms feels as though it isn't quite convinced that it's a hotel. There is no reception - one engages the attention of one of the staff in the bar. Once checked in however, the room is perfectly adequate, and, as it turned out, acceptably quiet, given that there is a pub downstairs and it was a weekend. Breakfast is fine (can't speak for the cooked food as we didn't sample it). There is carparking, but it isn't free.
