Pyrgos Exquisite villa 3,private pool, South Crete

Overall the villa is excellent and the views are simply stunning. There are neighboring villas, but they are very private and in no way intrusive. The cleanliness is first class. Somebody came every day to clean the small pool and terrace area and the house was cleaned several times during our stay. The nearby town has an excellent selection of restaurants and bars and the beaches are very clean and not overcrowded, even in high season. A few negative comments to note; there were no instructions on how to turn on the electricity and air con when you arrive. We had to telephone somebody. Also, the air con only works when all the doors are closed (good idea), but the terrace doors cannot be closed from outside so it is not possible to keep the villa cool while you are by the pool (bad idea). The pool steps were very lose and felt unsafe and a broken light fitting in the pool with hanging wires did not feel safe either. We had problems with the toilet, including a broken seat when we arrived and these were not fixed until just before we left. These negative comments should not distract from this excellent villa, I would highly recommend it!

Good lovely view

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in deze villa. Villa nr3 heeft heel veel privacy en een schitterend uitzicht deels over de bergen en deels over de zee. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien, alles is er. Keuken werkt prima evenals de airco’s die in alle kamers hangen. Zwembad is lekker, niet te groot maar voldoet zeker. Het plaatsje Plakias ligt op 10min rijden en heeft winkels, supermarkten, restaurants en een mooi strand. Strandbedden kan je huren voor 8euro per set per dag. Een huurauto is een must, ook om de omgeving goed te kunnen verkennen. Er is maar een nadeel te bedenken aan deze villa en dat is de wind. Wij hebben 3 dagen harde wind gehad rond de villa. Geen idee of dit altijd aanwezig is of zo nu en dan? Elke dag is er een schoonmaakster geweest. Maakt keuken schoon, neemt afval mee en houdt de vloer schoon. 1x per week worden handdoeken en beddengoed verschoont. Wij hebben in ieder geval een heerlijke tijd gehad.
