The location was excellent, we could walk all around the town. We also enjoyed havong our take-out lunch in the little gazebo on the corner of the parking lot. Staff was very helpful and politely answered my stupid questions. The room was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and was glad to see a number of guests.

Ok place for the price, old and a little worn down. Quite, small fridge and microwave. Cant use microwave when AC is on, or will blow fuse. Lady at front desk was great, friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay again.

We had a good stay at the Canterbury. Room was very decent enough for the price. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. AC unit was very noisy, light fixtures needed cleaning. We went and bought our own pillows as the ones that were there were not good.

It’s a budget motel 6 but lesser quality Staying 1 night decent enough as you know what your getting for that price and it’s just a night to sleep Beds decent but cleanliness of bathroom is ooor quality. Dirt and lint lots in bathroom vent On floors in a thrill you can see they don’t sweep as dirt Again .. we knew this wasn’t the Hilton we just need a place to stay but cleanness should be better as eu down and not fancy for a nights sleep is good but dirt and filth is unacceptable

For the price of the hotel it was not worth it. Sleeping on a glorified camp bad. The room smelt stale, trim missing off walls, towel rail coming off wall in bathroom, so dated. $185 a night? Absolute daylight robbery. Housekeeping never cleaned the room during my stay. There was no mention of that anywhere. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Will not stay here again, ever!!!

This hotel room had years worth of hair in it. The bathroom has not been properly cleaned in probably 5 years or more. There was hair EVERYWHERE. As if a cleaner wiped the same dirty rag around every surface & called it good. Had not been vacuumed or floor washed, shower had tons of soap scum & hair in it. Hair all over back of toilet, in the sink, on the floor, on the walls - literally everywhere. This was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. It was disgusting.

Beds were good. A/C unit was extremely loud and sounded like it was going to blow up. Thankfully it still worked as it was would have been unbearable to stay in the room. Bathroom had some moldy spots on the roof, tub surround needs to be resealed and the window screen was ripped and needs to be replaced. Definitely could use an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Location is great and lots of parking.

I loved the location and the walkability to stores and cute shops! Unfortunately the room was not very clean (dirty floors and coffee maker etc) but the bed sheets were clean and the beds comfy!

Staff were friendly, everything was quick and smooth. It’s great if you just need somewhere cheap to stay for a night or two but it’s ‘older’ and not super clean, some mold in bathroom window. Overall was fine though! I would stay again if I needed a layover.

Room was ice cold and took 2hrs to warm up when we arrived at 9pm. They knew we were arriving around then but still did not turn up the heat in advance. Floor was dirty, room was noisy, could hear music from nearby bar, fridge was super loud. Will not stay here again.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed,bed was like cardboard,they use extension cords screwed to wall for the portable a/c unit.Room smelled like mould or wet mildew.was not worth the money.It needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

If all you need is a bed and a shower for the night, it'll do. I got the "cheapest" room and boy was it spartan. I've been in cruise ships with bigger rooms. The bed was broken down where one would naturally sit to get in and out of it. But the center was comfortable enough. The room was not dirty, just warm, scratched and scuffed. The porcelain coating in the toilet bowl was cracked so it looked dirty, but it wasn't. The AC was missing the temperature adjustment knob, but you could still adjust the temp if you can grip the little spindle. The hot and cold water knob in the sink were mismatched. But everything in the bath worked. I was put off by the brown towels rather than white. They looked clean, but the brown color can hide a lot. The staff was super friendly. It seems the owner/operators live on site.

Room nomber 207. At 10.40 pm my family and I decided to go sleep. When looked at our bed we found a lot of hairs on it. We double checked all 3 beds and realised that each bed sheets are dirty and full of hairs. We couldnt say about that problem receptionist because she left office at around 10 pm. I left a voice message on emergency tel. nomber but nobody called me back. We couldnt sleep on dirty beds and thougрt about change hotel. This is not a normal situation when the hotel is left without staff for the whole night. There is no one here and the contact phone does not work. What will happen if there is a fire or some other unforeseen situation. This is not how a hotel should be. It would be fashionable to solve this issue in 5 minutes, if at least one of the staff were here. This is a disgusting place with terrible service. The hotel staff did not refund or even apologize for the inconvenience and dirty linens. I concluded this place was created only to collect money from customers.

This is a good budget motel. Nothing fancy. Room was fine, sparse but it did the job for a ski weekend. Bed was very firm. I like that, but note that if you want a soft mattress. Price is right. TV is confusing to operate, but it at least had CBC Gem for the Olympics. Stayed here Family Day weekend 2026. Staff was friendly and easy check-in and out.

Only saw the 'Office-person' once - at check-in ; never saw him again, including trying to check out to give keys back and make sure to get my over-priced 'Deposit' back . The place is ancient, bare-bones and over-priced - sad really .

This is the perfect place to stay if you just need a convenient place to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is very central and within very easy walking distance to multiple restaurants. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The price was great. I would definitely stay here again.

The cheapest place I could find in Invermere - only to find the location was fantastic, staff were quick and helpful and more surprisingly the motel was quiet and peaceful despite being fairly busy. Pros - hot water was reliable and showers were as expected, no hot/cold flashes. Food in the area was easily accessible and walkable, a huge plus here. Cons - definitely a dated, basic, minimum amenities facility. On the ground floor I could see the light of day under the door sill, and easily accessible by pests etc. would suggest a refresh on weather stripping.
