The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. They had board games available to sit at tables and play at any time. Saw several families taking advantage of that.

Real free breakfast. Free supper on Wednesday. Very clean rooms. Great parking. I should have booked a handicap accessible room for the shower. Pool needs a change room. Not much of a problem as wmhe wore his swim suit down there.

Daughter was disappointed the slide wasn’t open. Bored in the pool. Got woken up early on Sunday morning by a bunch of kids playing hockey in the hallway against all the doors. Called the front desk and they were up there immediately and sent them all back to their rooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff, however, both ourselves and my Brother and his family had issues with our rooms. They were able to revolve the issue by offering us a new room, but it’s brought to light that this hotel really needs an upgrade. Our first room had a BROKEN bed. Our daughter sat on the end of it and the headboard end flipped up…. Sit on the headend of the mattress and the foot end would flip up. My brothers room was to be two queen beds and it was a single . Then we went swimming and my husband sat on one of the pool chairs and it snapped beneath him resulting in a cut and abrasions on his inner wrist. That same day, at our second trip to the pool, a lady sliced her toe open on the edge of a sharp piece of tile…. Today my son did the same thing except his injury was on the front of his lower leg. The hot tub wasn’t functioning and appeared to not have been for some time. The saving grace here is definitely the staff. However, for the room rate as it was, this hotel needs a major upgrade.

Pet friendly. Not corporate or cookie cutter. Very nice breakfast area. Had some games and a couple big tables for groups.staff were so amazing Pool was fun for the kids

To preface this review: yes, I have tried contacting the hotel directly regarding my concerns. I submitted their online form and also emailed the email address listed on their website, but haven't heard a thing back. I have given fair opportunity for them to contact me prior to writing this review. To start: the staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Can't fault them for how they interact with their customers! We recently had two rooms booked at the hotel, one room for two nights, and one room for just the second of those nights for family that was joining later. We checked into our first room and were struck by how filthy the floor was. We walked around in socks for a bit but when we saw how grimy the bottoms of our socks instantly became, we stuck to wearing shoes the entire time. Definitely off-putting, but we could tolerate a dirty floor for a couple nights. The second concern came the first morning when I realized that I hadn't packed toothbrushes for my two kids. My husband was taking them down for breakfast anyway, so I asked him to ask the front desk for a couple toothbrushes. He returned to the room holding two unwrapped and mismatched toothbrushes. It struck me as a bit odd, but I was preoccupied with getting the family ready for a wedding that three of us were in, so I didn't pause to look closer. I've had to abbreviate this review to keep it under 1500 characters, so there is much more to our experience I'm unable to share. On our first morning, I realized that I hadn't packed toothbrushes for my kids. My husband was taking them down for breakfast anyway, so I asked him to ask the front desk for two toothbrushes. He returned to the room with two unwrapped and mismatched toothbrushes. It struck me as a bit odd, but I was preoccupied with getting the family ready for a wedding that three of us were in, so I didn't pause to look closer. It wasn't until my husband went to give the toothbrushes to the kids that he noticed they also looked used. And then, when he looked at the handles, saw that one had "Toilet" written on it in black marker. We were absolutely horrified and disgusted. We were extremely tight on time due to the wedding, so I didn't go to the front desk right away, thinking I'd go down later in the day. However, by the end of the day, we were exhausted and I couldn't handle the thought of another night in this hotel, so we threw our things in the vehicle and just drove the 3.5 hours home to our own clean beds, floors, and toiletries (the floors were also very dirty in our rooms). I fully realize this is something I should have immediately gone to the front desk about. However, due to being overwhelmed by extremely busy day, I didn't. I have attempted to communicate and given opportunity for the hotel to respond, and have heard nothing back for 9 days.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows were very firm, too firm for our liking, but some people would appreciate that. Wonderful free breakfast in the morning. Overall a very nice hotel if visiting Drayton Valley.

Bed was terrible, hard as a rock Not the room I booked online 150 deposit we had to give after we prepaid and I didn’t have credit card when checking in Clerk had no idea what to do We have stayed before and wasn’t asked fir 150 We not stay there again

Overall not impressed, the property needs major renovations & a face lift. On top of the appearance of the place, the beds were extremely firm. Could hear the elevator all night beeping etc. The door lock itself, wasn’t working, to take safety precautions into our own hands, having to prop a chair on the door. Having to withdraw $300 cash at the ATM to check in as well. No information was told upon check in about breakfast, pool etc. front staff just wanting to coax away as fast as possible.

Didnt like the damage on the couch or there was no jets on the tub

We stayed here last minute after visiting the local brewery (Nodding Donkey). We booked online and the stay was amazing, especially for the price! We got the romantic suite with Jacuzzi tub, and the room was amazing! Complimentary champagne and chocolates. Everything was super comfy. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. And the hotel was super quiet. We had such a nice stay. Highly recommend!!

All good, clean and comfy bed… and loved the soft, cushy, fluffy towels

Great place and service but could use newer beds and showerhead was just about plugged off.

Everything was fine but the 150 damage deposit was a first for me. I travel extensively and I have never heard of this policy before.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were happy to accommodate an early check-in in and late check-out... which made a big difference for us and was really appreciated. Will definitely use this property again

Staff was super nice and friendly.

Very comfortable hotel to stay at. There is a restaurant close-by and Walmart is about 7 minutes away.

The room was clean and close to Walmart plus there was an excellent restaurant next door that had homemade food. Booked a room for 2 nights with 4 days between stays. Upon my return, the front desk put me in the safe quiet , clean room that I first had. Appreciated that they accommodated my request for a quiet room.

The property was within walking distance to a shopping complex as well as the hockey arena out tournament was being held at. I would stay again.

We have stayed in this location quite a number of times. It’s such a convenient & clean motel with very friendly staff and reasonable rates. We discovered on our first stay that the breakfast sausages and eggs were horrible. Why are they still serving these?

Quick overnight stay. Hotel was good. We went to the restaurant next door for supper which was good but pricey. The breakfast wasn't fantastic but sufficient. I would stay again. I am always picky about cleanliness and had no complaints at all in that department. Kids enjoyed the pool area.

The breakfast left alot to be desired. Lukewarm coffee. Beans and cereal. Not as per the pictures shown on the website.

Great pool, staff, rooms. The continental breakfast however, was not good. Beans for breakfast? Lots of stale bagels and breads. The coffee was so water downed we had to buy a coffee after we left.
