**Beautiful hotel, but service and advertised activities fall short** The hotel itself is beautiful and conveniently located close to Porto. However, several aspects of the stay were disappointing and do not match the price point. **Advertised activities are misleading.** The hotel's website and marketing materials feature paddle boarding, kayaking, and similar water activities, implying these are offered on-site. In reality, they are not. Guests must first check availability, then pay an additional €30 "relocation fee" just to have an instructor bring the equipment to the hotel — on top of the rental cost. Alternatively, guests are directed to a nearby public beach, which is overcrowded in summer. If a hotel advertises an activity as part of its offering, it should be available on-site without extra logistics and hidden fees. This is false advertising and should be corrected or clearly disclosed before booking. **Restaurant service was slow.** Lunch took an excessive amount of time to arrive despite the restaurant being nearly empty and the order consisting of simple dishes. There is no justification for this delay given the low occupancy. **Lack of proactive guest communication.** At no point were we informed of the hotel's facilities, activities, spa/massage services, or even the WiFi details. Absolutely lovely setting- the photos don’t do it justice. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy on site parking. Nice breakfast. Lovely pool and hot tub. Some decent restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel itself was very nice, the staff was always friendly and helpful, and the surrounding landscape was beautiful. However, the massages that we scheduled had to be cancelled because the room where they were to take place was not fit for this purpose - it was normally just the jacuzzi room, so had a very strong chlorine smell (hardly relaxing) and there were no curtains to close when changing/disrobing before getting on the table or during the massage. This meant that all of the tradesmen who were directly in front of the room working on the pool could watch through the big glass doors/windows. It's not the end of the world, but it was still a bit of a disappointment since an on-site masseuse was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.
