Tropicana Resort Phu Quoc

Joli bungalow avec belle terrasse, vue mer, coucher de soleil magnifique. Transat à disposition avec serviettes de plage. Petit déjeuner sans grande prétention. Situé à 25 min. à pied du centre de Duong Dang et du marché de nuit. Beaucoup de commerces utiles juste à côté. Assez calme le soir.

It’s a decent stay. A 2-3 star to European standards. We got upgraded on arrival in a Bungalow. Which was nice. The rooms are standard’ish. You get a very tiny shower gel + Shampoo. Only 1 towel / person. No hand/face towels. You only receive 1 key/ room. If you are not glued to the person you are traveling, you need to go to the reception and ask to get someone to open for you. Which it happened and I find it a major security breach because I just went to reception and said I want to get in GXX and they said follow me. I could have been anyone.. they did not ask what name or anything. Feels incredibly unsafe. The breakfast… below average, but considering the options you have outside of the hotel… it was decent enough. The resort has access to the beach & sea which was a nice perk. The employees English is not working only with Google Translate. Additionally, I booked this accommodation via Hotels.com on 13th of March. On 24th March I received a message on WhatsApp with my full name & booking number from a Saudi Arabian number asking me to ” confirm” my booking by clicking on a link. I understand is a scam, but I am sure the Tropicana database is hacked and my information just became public. Tried to flag it to the hotel… but the communication is non existent.
