Honestly a wicked good experience. Felt extremely safe, everyone was very relaxed and respectful of each other. lockers in the room are huge, could fit probably two duffel bags in one and a section for electronics. Lock for it costs about 3 bucks if you don't have your own. Bar was cool, though it mentioned breakfast but I never saw food available, maybe you had to ask ahead of time. Walkable about 10 minutes to food and bars and train station is nearby. I traveled alone here as a woman and stayed in the co-ed dorm and felt really secure the entire time. Really recommend.

It doesn't have a place to wash and dry clothes, besides there isn't facilities for freezing foods or cut an orange or something like that. It's like a hotel, it is not a hostal.

Det var ett mycket fint hostel med goda kommunikationer. Fint sällskapsrum med litteratur och bar i anslutning. Lätt att checka in och ut. Tyst och lugnt, rent och fint. Synd att man inte fick använda TV:n som fanns i allrummet. Ett minus för att man hörde S-tågen hela natten.

We checked in with a 9m old baby and were sceptical if this hostel could accommodate our needs accordingly. But the staff and everybody was so friendly and helpful, they provided a babybed and there was even a children’s chair at the breakfast room. Really surprising quality for something that calls itself Hostel. We would always go back to Grand Hostel Berlin!

Alot of noice from guests(youth) kept me awake. Also the doors are very loud, so I would wake up when others went to the bathroom, or in and out of rooms in the middle of the night. Surprised that towels were not included. I had to rent towels to take a shower, and the shower had very low quality. Either too hot or too cold. The type you have to push the button every 10seconds to keep the water coming. Breakfast was great. And very nice that there was always someone in the reception 24/7. Kind personell.

Hostelin yeri, sakinliği çok güzeldi. Metroya çok yakın, şehrin pek çok yerine ve havaalanına ulaşımı kolay. Oda ve çarşaflar temizdi. Tuvaletler de her gün temizleniyordu. Çalışanlar kibardı. Kahvaltı güzeldi. Şehre erken vardım, bavulumu giriş saatine kadar ücretsiz olarak tuttular, teşekkür ederim. Sadece duştaki giderler çok iyi çalışmıyordu, su biriktiği için hijyen açısından rahat hissetmedim.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und ein Begrüßungsgetränk wurde mir auch angeboten. Das Zimmer/Bad war sauber, nicht unbedingt neuester Standard, aber da ist mir die Sauberkeit tatsächlich wichtiger. Es war allgemein sehr ruhig, ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Fenster zum Hof und ich konnte prima schlafen.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und ein Begrüßungsgetränk wurde mir auch angeboten. Das Zimmer/Bad war sauber, nicht unbedingt neuester Standard, aber da ist mir die Sauberkeit tatsächlich wichtiger. Et fint lille hostel service pigerne var meget flinke og virkelig service og rengøringen var Ok mændenes virkede sure trætte. Man kunne høre alt på hotellet og når folk gik i bad .

Für ein Hostel recht gut, leider ist es allerdings ein Altbau, d.h. der Boden knarzt und es ist nicht so gut isoliert (sprich warm wenn es draußen warm ist). Ansonsten aber sauber, Lage gut (fußläufig zum Postdamer Platz, aber auch Bus und S Bahn-Nähe) und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Bewertungen musste man Bettzeug nicht draufzahlen. Sondern nur ein Handtuch oder Schloss wenns wäre, daran könnte man aber auch in der Reiseplanung denken:)

My room was opposite the bathroom and it was the 1. on the floor. The whole night guests came , they were talking and using the bathroom. The door banged always and because they were talking I couldn’t sleep the whole night.

Leider wurde bei der Buchung Einzelbetten angezeigt, vorgefunden hat man aber Etagenbetten. Leider alles sehr laut, sei es der Zimmerboden, Türen oder die Schubkästen unter den Betten. Sonntag morgens um 7.45 Uhr hat die Reinigungsperson im Nachbarzimmer gesaugt was dazu führte das einige davon wach wurden. Ich finde das muss nicht sein!

Gutes Hostel, sehr nettes Personal, tolle Lage und recht sauber. Die Zimmer sind von der Größe völlig ausreichend. Schade fanden wir, dass Handtücher nicht inkl. waren, so mussten wir noch 7€ für zwei Handtücher zahlen. Hatten wir so noch nie erlebt.

Gutes Hostel, sehr nettes Personal, tolle Lage und recht sauber. Die Zimmer sind von der Größe völlig ausreichend. Schade fanden wir, dass Handtücher nicht inkl. waren, so mussten wir noch 7€ für zwei Handtücher zahlen. Hatten wir so noch nie erlebt.

Night i landed the bar staff was completely drunk. He was so drunk it took 20 minutes of convincing for him to serve a beer, deapite being the only person asking to be served. They refused to serve tea for 40 minutes because the bar tender didnt think it was manly. He then forced vodka drinks on me that i didnt want. The cleaners doing the day went through my stuff and stole a packet of cigarettes the second day, and the third day my wedding ring that was on the counter was stolen by the cleaners. I messaged my complaints to the staff for 4 weeks via the app. They read my messages but didnt respond. Its a shame because the stay was fairly nice, its the staff and cleaners that are dodgy and unaccountable thieves

Leider wurde bei der Buchung Einzelbetten angezeigt, vorgefunden hat man aber Etagenbetten. Leider alles sehr laut, sei es der Zimmerboden, Türen oder die Schubkästen unter den Betten. Sonntag morgens um 7.45 Uhr hat die Reinigungsperson im Nachbarzimmer gesaugt was dazu führte das einige davon wach wurden. Ich finde das muss nicht sein!

Gutes Hostel, sehr nettes Personal, tolle Lage und recht sauber. Die Zimmer sind von der Größe völlig ausreichend. Schade fanden wir, dass Handtücher nicht inkl. waren, so mussten wir noch 7€ für zwei Handtücher zahlen. Hatten wir so noch nie erlebt.

We checked in with a 9m old baby and were sceptical if this hostel could accommodate our needs accordingly. But the staff and everybody was so friendly and helpful, they provided a babybed and there was even a children’s chair at the breakfast room. Really surprising quality for something that calls itself Hostel. We would always go back to Grand Hostel Berlin!

Alot of noice from guests(youth) kept me awake. Also the doors are very loud, so I would wake up when others went to the bathroom, or in and out of rooms in the middle of the night. Surprised that towels were not included. I had to rent towels to take a shower, and the shower had very low quality. Either too hot or too cold. The type you have to push the button every 10seconds to keep the water coming. Breakfast was great. And very nice that there was always someone in the reception 24/7. Kind personell.

Honestly a wicked good experience. Felt extremely safe, everyone was very relaxed and respectful of each other. lockers in the room are huge, could fit probably two duffel bags in one and a section for electronics. Lock for it costs about 3 bucks if you don't have your own. Bar was cool, though it mentioned breakfast but I never saw food available, maybe you had to ask ahead of time. Walkable about 10 minutes to food and bars and train station is nearby. I traveled alone here as a woman and stayed in the co-ed dorm and felt really secure the entire time. Really recommend.

Für ein Hostel recht gut, leider ist es allerdings ein Altbau, d.h. der Boden knarzt und es ist nicht so gut isoliert (sprich warm wenn es draußen warm ist). Ansonsten aber sauber, Lage gut (fußläufig zum Postdamer Platz, aber auch Bus und S Bahn-Nähe) und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Bewertungen musste man Bettzeug nicht draufzahlen. Sondern nur ein Handtuch oder Schloss wenns wäre, daran könnte man aber auch in der Reiseplanung denken:)

Det var ett mycket fint hostel med goda kommunikationer. Fint sällskapsrum med litteratur och bar i anslutning. Lätt att checka in och ut. Tyst och lugnt, rent och fint. Synd att man inte fick använda TV:n som fanns i allrummet. Ett minus för att man hörde S-tågen hela natten.

Super mooi authentiek hostel op een top locatie in Berlijn. Het pand is erg oud waardoor het echt heel gehorig is. Houd hier rekening mee als je een lichte slaper bent. Wat vervelend is is dat je bijbetaald voor bedlinnen en waar nodig een handdoek. Dat had wat beter aangegeven mogen worden.
