Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rocky Mount, NC

We stayed here last year. Was disappointed that the heater in the indoor pool was not working and water was too cold to get in. Also the bathroom door wouldn't close even after someone looked at the problem. Staff were extremely nice. Room was very clean.

Very spacious and clean room. The pool area was not clean and there were not enough fresh pool towels.

I was told by the manager that all of these were awaiting repair or replacement. I book places that have fitness centers. There were no free weights and the weight machine was broken. The pool was cold. The hot tub was awaiting repair. Otherwise, the place was immaculate, everyone at the reception desk and kitchen area were excellent. and my overall stay was an 8 of 10. I'll stay there again if the fitness equipment is repaired.

Hot tub was broken. One elevator was out of order. Breakfast was good

Just seems like the pool is never open, but everything else is just great at a fair price.

Lovely room- clean. Wonderful staff. Just there was no coffee or much breakfast- and no towels when we got out of the pool.

Property needs maintenance. One elevator was inoperable. Ice machine on my floor was broken. Keycard reader at side door broken. After walking our dog, had to go around to front door. Shower drain was very slow, had standing water while showering. Hot tub half empty, unusable. Lamp in our room not working. That's all I remember.

Hotel stay was great for on our way to Southport/Oak Island, NC. Everything was great and clean. Hopefully they can give the hot top a good scrub and some disinfectant but other than the moldy hot tub, everything else from staff to cleanliness was amazing! Would definitely stay here again! Hot tub questionable.

As expected and nice pool and hot tub after long day in car driving.

Common area carpets are disgustingly dirty. Our room had a child's handprints all over the window and there was hair on the floor of the bathroom. The room next to us was playing loud music and when I called the front desk to ask them to address the situation, the telephone was broken and they couldn't hear me. Never again!!!

Front desk person a bit rude, room was disgusting- sticky floors, surfaces were dirty and dusty, bathroom floor had hair, fridge was broken and had old food in it, tv cabinet had something sticky all down the front

rugs all over hotel were filthy, rugs in room filthy., room smelled like either wet dogs or damp mold.

The bed/bedding was not good. Had bed bugs. Need to exam the bed and bedding well if you decide to stay.

We had stayed here several years back and were pleased. We were saddened to see how poorly it had been maintained. The hotel was visibly dirty with debris on rugs, smeared elevator walls and crusted dirt in corners of bathroom. Moreover the vinyl floor in the bedroom hadn’t appeared to have seen a mop in awhile. We won’t be back.

The bathroom had dirt all in the grout and in the corners. You could just tell it’s never really been deep cleaned. The carpet smelled like mold.

We stayed for 1 night. We were so tired after we checked in we just crashed in the room. But in the morning I was horrified to find that there was dried vomit all over the curtains next to the bed. How on earth do they consider that a sanitized room. It makes me sick to know that we didn’t see it before we went to sleep. When we checked out the next morning I told what we found to the front desk person. She said oops we’ll have to check. I told her I had a picture of it, I showed her the picture and she wasn’t even fazed. No apology, refund or anything. She just sent me on my way. I was so stunned at how she dismissed me. She did show the picture to some other women and she didn’t look like she cared either.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Housekeeping was extremely accommodating and attentive, and the breakfast staff were warm and friendly each morning. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely stay here again.

Parking is OK. Room & hallway smelled bad, carpet was dirty, fridge was iced over, furniture & condition is very old, dated. Sheets were clean but rough.

Room was great but you could hear people in their rooms, not talking but sounded like running back and forth. Took a shower and it was very slow running.

Affordable at times, nice pool and breakfast is ok. Needs a little more upkeep due to slow drainage, random bugs and decor is falling a part.

Our room's mini refrigerator did not work. The room was clean and well kept. Ac worked fine. The side stair well was smelly and the rugs were very dirty.

Room was ok. Whole hotel kind of showed its age. Some rust in the the bathroom, stains on carpet but one of the best showers (water pressure and temperature perfect)

Great place to stay. Welcoming staff. The room was spacious, clean and plenty of conveniently located charging ports. The bed / pillows were very comfortable. Can’t wait to see what’s for breakfast.

The bed was crazy comfortable but the shower was unusable. We were in a room that felt like it was designed for a little person so we couldn’t use the shower because the head was too low.

First stop on our way to the beach for vacation with the family. Booked online what I thought showed a suite with two queen beds and a pullout couch in both rooms, ended up needing a third room, which was a bit of a disappointment. Breakfast was pretty good, very clean in there, well kept up. The beds however we’re rather uncomfortable and stiff. Slightly abnormal for country Inn and suites.

The night staff was super helpful as was housekeeping. It was hard to find a front desk person during the day. The beds have lost their support and have indentations of where people have slept for the past months or years. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

Music was too loud near elevators. King size fitted sheet didn't fit well and came off while sleeping. Pillows were too soft. Breakfast was very good.

Nice hotel, just the bed was not comfortable and the toilet had flushing issues.

Check in was a breeze. The young lady at check in was one of the most pleasant young ladies ever…her name is Passion…she was a sweet heart. Could not have been more informative, helpful and pleasant. Definitely recommend!!!

Breakfast was good. The breakfast hostess was amazing. Front desk staff, not personal nor helpful. I needed maintenance. There was no on call maintenance. The fire alarm beeped all day on my second day, was told there was nothing that could be done.

Late night check- in. Desk manager went above and beyond to get us in as quickly as possible. She was outstanding.

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help.

Facilities we're clean, the staff was approachable, curious, knowledgeable and very professional. If they represent the standards of the hotels well done. If not, someone may need to watch them work. Outstanding job.

Everyone was friendly, polite, courteous, they were all, watchful and paid attention to the guests, the front desk, the kitchen staff, the house keeping, maintenance, everyone, when there was a guest looking for something, unsure of something, or wandering, or in need, they were all right there, willing to assist, and there was always friendly conversation with the staff, no stuck up attitude or back biting or complaining or criticizing one another , I really enjoyed my stay at Country Inn and Suites, there were some flaws in the room, but that was okay, things do happen, but it was the attitude about, it ,when it was reported, that made the situation better, even though it was taken care later , GOOD JOB !!!

We stayed at this hotel on the way to Florida from New Jersey. We checked in at 3:00am and the front desk attendant was super nice and quick. The rooms were very clean and the complimentary breakfast was perfect before we started the second leg of our trip. Theresa who helped with breakfast was so nice and knowledgeable about the area and we loved chatting with her. Would highly recommend staying there again!

Hotel was fine. Room was fine. Breakfast was good. Just whenever I went to the front desk, nobody was there! Walked around for 10 minutes looking for someone that could get me a couple towels. They desk attendant was outside smoking. This was mostly evening shift. I would still stay again and recommend.

when i first arrived from traveling off the highway i went to the hotel. it was 1:45 the lady at the desk looked at me and told me to come back in an hour and refused to talk with me. when i came back 1 hour later the next lady who checked me in told me they gave the king suite i paid for and reserved a week prior away. maybe that would not have happend if the first lady had been kind enough to look my info up. Instead i was told oh we don't have that room anymore all i have is a room with 2 queen beds and that is all i got. the room was small with 2 lights, hall light did not work and it was ajourned to the room next door who had a party going on and i heard every activity and conversation. no rest or privacy for 3 days. customer service was terrible and the room had 1 roll of tissue and i box of kleenex. the kicker was the microwave did not work so i could not heat up my food. i checked out at 8:30 am they had a box at the front desk so i was not able to get a receipt. I also feel that i should not have been charged for a king suite when i was put in a room with 2 beds. they did not offer a single ounce of sympathy for what happend or make a sugesstion for their mistake. I will never stay at this place again very disappointed and the 2 women representing this facilty need training on how to greet out of town customers. i fill i should have been treated better for the money i spent on a suite i did not get.

This property is located in a very quiet and safe part of town. It is easy to find parking, and the staff is professional and courteous.

Hotel is very dated. Hotel room smelled like dog, had scuff marks on walls AND ceiling! Smoke detector had battery removed. Nothing within walking distance.

A couple miles off i95 but worth 5 minute drive as quiet, gas and food nearby.

Stayed for overnight during long drive. Far enough from 95 to be quiet, but close enough to be a perfect stopver. Breakfast was available and plenty of parking.

We stayed overnight to break up a drive from NY to FL. Easy parking and a nice free breakfast buffet in the morning. The breakfast attendant was so helpful and engaging. Will stay here again.

The best hot free breakfast I’ve ever had! The service was wonderful, the bed was comfy, the shower was great, easy access to I95. The only complaint, which probably isn’t this specific hotel’s fault, is that there aren’t any recycling bins: not in the room, lobby, or outside.

Room was very clean but this is an older facility. Staff was pleasant. The breakfast was a disappointment. The breakfast room was not that clean, fake egg patties, greasy sausage, biscuits with gravy. No fresh fruit. Milk pitchers were scummy, hard boiled eggs were sitting in a yellowish water. Overall not good. I would not return to this facility.
