Stirling Court Hotel

Staden var väldigt trevlig att besöka med många fina sevärdheter. Hotellet är slitet vilket kan vara ok om det är rent och snyggt. Men tyvärr så var det väldigt dåligt städat. Trycket och värmen i duschen var väldigt bra.

Very basic amenities tv small and did not work. Evening meal very limited options

The room was okay, but was in need of refurbishment. I.E. Furniture was old, only one bedside table, electric sockets difficult to get to, bathroom door handle loose. Stayed 2 nights and bed not made with room cleaning. Had a meal in the bar that was served cold.

The staff were never available when you needed them. They were always apologising for leaving you to wait, at reception and the main bar. There were queues all the time. Room was not up to standard particularly the bathroom. It was quiet, but fan was broken and clearly had been for some time. The bathroom backboards were blown and growing something. Toilet roll was brown from dampness and not thrown out, and we had to open bedroom window as the shower caused that to steam up after use. Bed was comfy but furniture was scored and worn out. There was poor maintenance and some tables in the bar really needed to be scrubbed clean. It was disappointing given the price. Plenty of breakfast food available and dining area was clean. Staff were friendly once they were available, but they were just not visible when expected and service suffered.
