This was a fantastic stay. The hotel has clean, well appointed rooms with kitchenettes, patios, and an above ground soaking hot tub. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back.

I freaking love The Green Room! This is our 2nd or 3rd stay, and I’ll keep coming back as long as it’s there. The location is fantastic, being close to a lot of local shopping, restaurants, the beach, and other activities. Most of which we walked to, or it was a very short car ride. The room itself was clean, set up well, and detached from other rooms which was nice. It’s next to a main road but it’s still surprisingly quiet and didn’t disturb us. The property is lovely, with a hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Any questions we had were answered within just a few minutes of sending a text. Everything about staying here is super easy - I swear I wish I could live here!!!

This place is a little gem right on the edge of Oceanside and Carlsdad...the best of both worlds! The place is super cute with bikes and surfboards you can use. Its walking distance to excellent resteraunts and a convenience store right accross the street! I almost dont want to tell anyone its such a great find...but I wpuldnt want this place kept from staying alive. Way better than a hotel or air bnb with keyless entry and safe parking right there on the property! Love this place and we will be back!

Loved the additional amenities at no extra cost, including the bikes, hot tub and fire pit. Every detail was very thoughtful and felt like we were at a mini resort. Rooms were very clean and staff was helpful. Would definitely be back.

We had an amazing time at the location. Super trendy rooms that are very functional and great rates for the area. Amazing food scene around and so close to many places. The bed was so comfortable !! Surf boards for use made the trip fun. Hot tub was a nice touch and the morning surprise donuts.

The Green Room Hotel is in a convenient location close to breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and has ample on site parking. Room was as expected, clean & tidy, and well stocked with a full kitchen for in-room meal preparation. Contactless check-in was super easy and the hotel communicated everything well in advance and during the stay.

Cute vintage styled room with kichenette! Only 12 units, all ground floor. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants.Also good for kids and dogs!

The hot tub a little smelly and not hot enough. The heater in the room was hard to work and nosey. It said pet friendly and after I paid it said 1 dog and they wanted to charge cleaning fee, which was waived ( thank you ). The bed was very comfortably. The TV was good with all the streaming programs. The room had no place to put stuff in dresser or selves. The hot water took forever to get hot. Wouldn't recommend

The Green Room Hotel was very clean. Many thoughtful touches and fast response to inquiries/requests. Located close to beautiful beaches in Carlsbad and Oceanside. Would definitely stay there again when visiting the area.

We just returned from a three day stay at the Green Room. Loved it! The room was very comfortable and the decor was very cool with a California vibe. The room as well as the entire property was pristine. Additionally, the manager was very friendly and quick to respond when we requested extra towels. The hot tub was a great touch after spending our days walking all over San Diego sightseeing. On the weekend there was coffee and doughnuts left for the guests in the courtyard. The area was nice with many coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk. Overall, I would rate the Green Room 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend to everyone.

The property is beautiful and clean, really tastefully updated. Our room was clean and super cute. It had almost everything we needed, even an air filter! The beds were very comfy and a nice shower experience. We loved the Japanese soaking tub. The courtyard coffee on the weekend was lovely. While there is a heating unit in the room, we did have to ask for an extra blanket since we like to sleep with a little more weight on us. There don't seem to be any employees on site, but they are VERY responsive to text. Also lots of cute stuff to walk to: coffee, restaurants, grocery, etc etc.

It’s a very small, cabin-style property and a bit underwhelming compared to the photos I saw online. That said, it was still a comfortable stay for us. The room (we got a “suite”) was quite small (~200 sq ft) but very cozy and functional. I was told over the phone we had a patio but turns out we didn’t. Would recommend if you’re looking to stay for just 1-2 nights and mostly doing things outside.

Place is super cute. Great upgrade on an old property. We paid extra for an early check in and the room was unfortunately not ready as stated. Thought the place was locally owned, but when we called customer service to ask a question it went to an international tele-desk. Not a fan of that at all, as we have friends who own boutique hotels and are the on-call customer service which is a big reason we don't book big hotels. Location is right on 101 at a traffic light, so road noise was pretty constant for our stay. TV and AC/heater remotes didn't work in our room, so my wife was pretty bummed. Slept good, water was hot.

Great location, nice quiet property. We enjoyed the porch outside our room and the hot tub was fantastic along with the bikes and boards available. The staff on site were friendly and helpful. The only challenge we ran into was getting in touch with someone before our stay. We reached out 24 hours in advance to ask about accommodation changes and it took 4 attempts to get a reply from someone finally the morning of our reservation. The phone number took me to a third party answering service who were very little help.

The property is beautiful and clean, really tastefully updated. Our room was clean and super cute. It had almost everything we needed, even an air filter! The beds were very comfy and a nice shower experience. We loved the Japanese soaking tub. The courtyard coffee on the weekend was lovely. While there is a heating unit in the room, we did have to ask for an extra blanket since we like to sleep with a little more weight on us. There don't seem to be any employees on site, but they are VERY responsive to text. Also lots of cute stuff to walk to: coffee, restaurants, grocery, etc etc.

our stay was amazing! being able to get into our room with just a pin and the early check in was insanely convenient. we loved the cozy atmosphere and coffee room:) it was the best home away from home, we didn’t even want to go. thank you for having us!

Place is super cute. Great upgrade on an old property. We paid extra for an early check in and the room was unfortunately not ready as stated. Thought the place was locally owned, but when we called customer service to ask a question it went to an international tele-desk. Not a fan of that at all, as we have friends who own boutique hotels and are the on-call customer service which is a big reason we don't book big hotels. Location is right on 101 at a traffic light, so road noise was pretty constant for our stay. TV and AC/heater remotes didn't work in our room, so my wife was pretty bummed. Slept good, water was hot.

Hard to find (rather hidden on a small highway). Clean but basic- good for young couples who don't mind driving or biking to the beach. We did have one issue. As management is remote, they accidentally locked us out when we left for breakfast on last day (prior to checkout time) and we didn't hear back from them until too late to get back in to brush our teeth, etc.

I freaking love The Green Room! This is our 2nd or 3rd stay, and I’ll keep coming back as long as it’s there. The location is fantastic, being close to a lot of local shopping, restaurants, the beach, and other activities. Most of which we walked to, or it was a very short car ride. The room itself was clean, set up well, and detached from other rooms which was nice. It’s next to a main road but it’s still surprisingly quiet and didn’t disturb us. The property is lovely, with a hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Any questions we had were answered within just a few minutes of sending a text. Everything about staying here is super easy - I swear I wish I could live here!!!

We just returned from a three day stay at the Green Room. Loved it! The room was very comfortable and the decor was very cool with a California vibe. The room as well as the entire property was pristine. Additionally, the manager was very friendly and quick to respond when we requested extra towels. The hot tub was a great touch after spending our days walking all over San Diego sightseeing. On the weekend there was coffee and doughnuts left for the guests in the courtyard. The area was nice with many coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk. Overall, I would rate the Green Room 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend to everyone.

I love the vibe of this place. The beds was super comfy and there was great picture of Bob Marley above the bed. And they served up donuts and coffee in the morning. And the beach cruiser was easy to unlock and go on a sunrise bike ride down to the beach.

We had an amazing time at the location. Super trendy rooms that are very functional and great rates for the area. Amazing food scene around and so close to many places. The bed was so comfortable !! Surf boards for use made the trip fun. Hot tub was a nice touch and the morning surprise donuts.

Enjoyed a one night stay at the Green Room Hotel. I liked the location near tasty food such as HomeState and coffee such as Revolution Roasters. Nice to soak in the wood jacuzzi and the room was spacious with nice touches.

Absolutely loved this property! We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed a very comfortable room, excellent bath products and perfect location. We really enjoyed the hotel’s overall vibe, especially the decor and the amenities including free bikes, fire pit and hot tub. We loved our stay. The hotel is charming and quaint with a short walk to the beach. We had a slight issue with our ac but the manager was quick to come over and check things out. He was also very helpful with restaurant recommendations! We can't wait to stay again. Oh and the most comfortable sheets we have ever slept on.

Our stay was awesome & would definitely recommend. Couple of things to mention- the snacks mentioned on the website are sold for $5/each & the walls are far from sound proof! Other than that if you don’t need a lot of space & want a great location, a short drive to the beach & only a walk to many restaurants, & it’s in your budget, we definitely recommend checking out the green room hotel!
