The hotel is a fantastic location in the old town and convenient for Malmö central train station. The reception and breakfast areas are nicely presented. The room windows were looking inwards but had natural light. The gym is convenient and included in the price. It is in the basement. I did not use it. Some of the equipment will need a refresh soon but it was well equipped for a hotel gym. The electricity in the room is slightly inconvenient. The bedside switch controls all electricity in the room so it is not straightforward to leave a bathroom light on at night and switch on a side light if making a trip to the bathroom at night. The breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food. The fresh fruit was honey dew melon, orange and pineapple and it was unusual that it was chunked with the skin left on. The staff on reception are friendly and welcoming and the room was cleaned each day with an option to request no cleaning if not required. The room has a desk, iron and safe so is well equipped for business travel. There was a wardrobe and space to unpack clothes so the room was suitable for a longer stay.

Bar and restaurant never open during our stay, rather odd. Good news is there's hundreds of bars and restaurants within in walking distance.

Elite Esplanade er et dejligt hotel med super morgenmad og et fint gym. Man skal bare være opmærksom på, at man skal bede om at få værelser hvor vinduerne IKKE vender ud mod Lille Torv - for musikken stopper først kl. 03 om natten på en lørdag 😳.
