Stayed 4 nights

Stayed from 26 to 30 July 2026. We booked two double rooms. Although the hotel was only about 60% occupied, we were given rooms in the detached building. Horrible. The rooms are long and narrow to the point that two people cannot pass between the bed and the wall at the same time. The furniture and bathrooms are old and worn, and the doors are paper-thin: you can hear guests coming and going at all hours and slamming their doors. After a sleepless first night, we complained, and the very professional manager, Halid Bey, immediately found for us alternative and quieter rooms of the same in the main building. In fact, he upgraded one of us to a larger triple room at the back corner of the main building and offered our friends a special rate to upgrade to a similar, slightly larger and much quieter room. After that, we slept well. The staff were friendly, professional and always available to help. Not everyone spoke English but they did go out of their way to assist us. Breakfast is good with a large variety of ready and freshly cooked food and beverages. The outside and indoor pools and spa are also good. The gym needs an upgrade, with newer machines and a wider selection of weights. The cardio equipment is old, one of the only two ellipticals was out of order. Overall, our experience improved dramatically once we were moved to the main building. Strong recommendation: Book a family room and avoid any room in the detached building.

I would not recommend you to live near Gumbet if you go to Bodrum. Always choose to live in Yalıkavak Instead. The hotel was really nice, though. That was a lot of English People in this Hotel. So if you don’t like that, don’t come to this, Hotel. The view is amazing. The food in the hotel is not the greatest. I would not come again, but it was a really nice Stay.

Stayed 5 nights

We arrived late due to our flight delay. So arrived around 12:30am and our room was small and stuffy and the shower didn’t work properly, our lights would not switch off. I called reception twice and got put on hold. I had to go myself at 2am to demand a room change. Was told they were fully booked. Young inexperienced rude staff all male. Eventually they gave me a different room after a lot of arguing and demanding my moment back. Suddenly they had availability. Would not recommmend you waste your money. It’s not a 5 star hotel. Far from it. Service and amenities are very poor. Breakfast has limited choice of food for a 5 star hotel.
