Villa Cha-Cha Banglumphu

The property was handy to exploring and enjoying Bangkok. The bus station is right there and plenty of opportunities to shop in the streets all around the property. Perfect if you enjoy the nightlife as there are plenty of bars and restaurants downstairs. The pool was a highlight. Almost felt like you were in a different world when you walked in from the streets. Would stay again.

The room was small and fairly clean. The shower curtain had mould all on it. The pool was ok but stunk like sewage. Good area for food and bars and massages.

First of all, the location is excellent. Right by Khao San Road, but not on it, so you don't get the noise. Easy access to various sites. The pool and public areas are lovely. The restaurant is undergoing renovation, so not open, but they have made arrangements with another nearby hotel for breakfast. This renovation does make one of the entrances a bit messy, but that's temporary and superficial. Now, the rooms. I shared a room with my adult son-it was a deluxe twin, I think, and was fine. It overlooked the courtyard, and was clean and, while not spacious, adequate, since we literally only slept there. My daughter and her fiancee got a basic economy room, which was tiny, overlooked a concrete wall, and barely had room for the bed. They were a bit taken aback, but again, they were only there at night. The bathrooms were huge and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, considering the price, I would definitely stay here again. It had exactly what I need in a hotel-location, nice pool, good bed, good staff.

Villa cha cha is a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of near-by Khao Son road. It is tucked in between two streets, so when you enter you feel like you have escaped Bangkok, for the price, this place is very decent, the staff is awesome and super helpful, you can book any transportation in the hotel as well. The restaurant is very pleasant with a little waterfall feature and comfy seating. The pool is small but perfect. The rooms are clean enough, and felt very safe. 10/10 would stay here again!

Für ein paar Nächte o.k.. Mein erstes Zimmer hatte kein Fenster und es roch wirklich sehr muffig. Ich habe am nächsten Morgen ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr sauber und auch von der Ausstattung her nett. Die Matratzen waren gut. Das restliche Hotel machte leider so einen leicht schmudeligen Eindruck. Es war nicht wirklich schmutzig, aber ... Natürlich trägt das feuchte Klima seinen Teil dazu bei. Es ist schade, da das Hotel eigentlich ganz süß ist. Es gibt eine Raucherzone am Pool. Ich habe 5 Nächte dort verbracht. Das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt/ Mülleimer nicht geleert. Wasserkocher war da. Kaffee +Tee nur 2 Päckchen und wurde nicht aufgefüllt. Mich hat das Ganze nicht so sehr gestört, aber man sollte es wissen. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hof, was super ist, da es am Abend und in der Nacht ganz ruhig ist. Der kleine Pool ist prima. Die Mitarbeitenden waren immer sehr freundlich. Ausflüge und Taxis (zu sehr fairen Preis) kann man im Hotel buchen. Die Lage ist super! Direkt an der Khaosan Road mit vielen Restaurants, Garküchen u.s.w. Für alleinreisende Frauen ideal. Max. 10 Min..zum River. Hier fahren die Expressboote mit denen man Bangkok (schnell, ohne Stau und für wenig Geld) super erkunden kann. Wegen der Lage würde ich das Hotel, mit Abstichen weiterempfehlen.

Pas d’eau chaude, des fourmis sur les lits. Pas de fenêtres dans la salle de bains , on entendait tout . Très bruyant jusqu’à 5h du matin . Moisissure partout dans la salle de bains et j en passe

Good hotel for an over night. It was pretty clean, comfortable, and close to all the action of khaosan road. It was on the noisy side but nothing too wild. Super affordable. Not a large space if you like to spread out! Has a really cute little common area for just relaxing and the staff were super!

Mitten im Leben und doch super ruhig. Das Familienzimmer war super und der Pool war perfekt für uns. Das Zimmer war super und die Betten sehr bequem. Auch die Klimaanlage war nicht zu laut. Zusätzlich konnten wir das große Fenster zum Lüften öffnen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Super loud at night. Sounds like a nightclub. If you want a party hotel then fine. Otherwise stay anywhere else.

Nära till Koasan road men inte så att det störde. Bra service närhet till allt! Poolen var vi inte så imponerade av men gick att bada, men inget insläpp av sol. Rummen lite slitna men rent.

Séjour parfait le seul bémol les chambres de base sont sans fenêtre mais ça est pas très dérangeant au calme malgré la proximité des rues animées très en proximité qui permettent le soir de sortir et de s amuser

Deceptive in advert as states blackout blinds and infact has no window at all. Very dim light bulb and 1 power socket. However no window = no outside noise. Location good. But more bang for you buck can be got elsewhere I think

Nice location. Pool is nice but a bit smelly. My issue was the lack of hospitality. Stayed 3 nights and didn’t get room cleaned once. Also not very accommodating on requests. The rooms are very dimly lit as well.

We loved the location of this property - close enough to everything, yet enough distance from the noise of the khaosan road. Rooms were reasonably sized and clean, good enough for the 3 day stay (4 rooms in our group). We were prewarned that the rooms did not have windows which was fine, however you would expect more internal lighting than there was. Poorly lit, ok if you didn’t spend much time there. Reception staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. Be warned though if you book through Expedia and need to contact the hotel directly the back office team are extremely unresponsive. We tried to speak to them urgently a few days before our stay - no response by email, phone (straight through to answerphone on several attempts) or message via Expedia. Very poor customer service. Also unresponsive during and after our stay. We have deliberately waited a few weeks before writing our review in the hope that this position would change, but alas still no.

Unusual facility, great location to walk around and have all different Thai experiences.

Very convenient to street full of dining areas and shopping. No need to use taxi or tuktuk unless you want further explore.

Bad: room was worn out, old style door nob barley holding on didnt feel safe. roache in the middle of the night, i removed. Not close to MRT or BTS stations. Good: pool and convenient for backing roads.

Happily returned here because of its central location, friendly staff and great pool/bar. Really Central to Khao San. Shops, Restaurants, Bars and stuff to do within walking distance.

Een heel fijn hotel aan een gezellige straat achter de Khao San Road. Ook leuk dat er een restaurant aan het hotel zit, en een rustig zwembad. Mijn kamer zat aan de kant van het restaurant en een waterval, dus tot 12 uur was het gehorig. Over het algeheel een goed verblijf!

The staff were polite and attentive, making my stay enjoyable. The hotel was clean enough, and I especially liked the poolside area and the restaurant on the first floor. However, locking the door takes a bit of practice, so it’s best to ask the staff for help. The hotel is also conveniently located, with easy access to various tourist spots by motorbike taxi or tuk-tuk.
