Clean, very limited parking.

Front desk is friendly, except that I wish they would have the coffee earlier, I would stay there again!

Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. The room fridge was very helpful, as was the small amount of utensils provided. All the staff were very friendly and kind. Was able to store luggage prior to check-in and after check-out which was a big help. The coffee available was good and an added bonus. Parking was limited but never had any problems finding a space. The local chickens were a bonus, watching them strut around the streets.

No elevator, small bathroom, individual noisy air conditioner, no table.

Great place for a few nights. Due to the storms, we unexpectedly found ourselves without a place on Kauai for 2 nights. Kauai Palms was available and had what we needed: a kitchen for all the groceries we had previously bought. The receptionist could not have been more friendly, understanding, and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage on the last day for a couple of hours for free. There is no view. It is down a city street. Typical old-school motel, but still lovely in its own way.

We stayed one night. Needed a place close to the airport before traveling to Princeville to stay for the week. Very small but clean. Parking is a challenge if arriving late. Staff was quick to respond via text message. Fresh coffee in the morning. Could hear through the walls. For a quick one night stay, not bad, But would not stay longer than that.

It was close to the airport which was convenient for our late night flight. We were just staying for 1 night until our condo was ready. Room was clean and comfortable but very small probably as we had a lot of luggage. Rooms did not have coffee makers which left a lot coffee zombies walking around the common area in the morning looking for coffee. Also could not find the ice maker and there was no staff on site until 8am

I only needed the room for one night, so I didn't stay there long. It was fine for just a bed and a shower, but the bathroom was really small. Also, there is no elevator, so you may need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Parking was hard to find when I arrived at 9 pm, but there were signs that parking was available behind the building.

Very average accommodations. Clean enough but dated. The WiFi was extremely slow. Friendly staff. Coffee served in the mornings. Ice machine is behind closed doors. The room was very small but clean. Wish there were more outlets. Small refrigerator and air conditioning were pleasant surprises. Street noise is pretty loud.

We only stayed one night but I loved the old Hawaiian feel. The room was very clean and well supplied. It is a very quaint Hawaiian hotel in a quiet part of town. The staff was very helpful. Our plane was delayed 3 hours so we checked in after staff went home but we met them in the am. Very nice. The only thing I would've like to have information in the "book" was where the ice machine was. We couldn't ask anyone and there were no directions in the booklet except that there was one on property. I like to have ice in my water. But it did not affect our stay. We would definitely stay again. It's a very well maintained hotel.

Older facility so things looked out of date but expected it given that there are not many places to stay in Kauai at reasonable rates. Drawbacks: Seen live cockroach in bathroom and separate dead on floor. Bed sheets we a little stained looking. Not saying dirty, just saying looked older and permanently stained. Not enough parking when guests take up two spots. Get there early or park on streets

It appears clean from the naked eye but there are cockroaches and that was it for me. They’re in the bathroom and the refrigerator area. The refrigerator smelled so bad as well and hot water was very weak. Waste of water because you need to turn faucet on for s good minute before it gets warm. I did call the attention of the management about roaches issue and they said Hawaii is a tropical place so deal with it. Ok, I will deal with it by giving this not so good review.

This location was very convenient and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. However the bed sheets weren’t completely clean, floors weren’t vacuumed, and the A/C didn’t cool the room very well.

When we first walked in, I noticed a stain on the toilet seat. We were exhausted and thought it was just a discoloration or something, didn't think much of it, but to make myself feel better, I took a disinfectant wipe to wipe the seat down AND THE STAIN CAME OFF. I think it may have been blood. We didn't mention it to staff because we clearly took care of it ourselves, but still gross. There was also no soap or shampoo of any kind, so be prepared to get your own or bring your own. The shower was way too strong, and there was no way to make the water come out without blasting you, any attempts to adjust the shower head made it worse. The room we had was small, but we expected that, but the air conditioner unit was so loud it sounded like a helicopter in our room making it hard to sleep. It's also in a noisy area, this probably doesn't happen all the time, but right outside our room they were doing utility work on a Saturday morning. Then there were loud garbage trucks. The walls are extremely thin and our neighbors were loud and stayed up late; there are no phones in the room to call the front desk, and the front desk didn't have hours during that time to call on our cell, and we didn't want to potentially get in an altercation with other guests so we just tried our best to ignore their noise. Not a relaxing place to stay.

Very good communication with the front desk - thank you again! Room and bathroom were very clean. Everything was perfect! We even canceled a night at another place to return at Kaua’i Palms Hotel.

Property is clean, but the bed is saggy on both sides the middle is higher feels like you gonna fall while sleeping.

Everything was very nice except the bed needs to be replaced. It was very saggy on the sides. Lack of firmness/stability was uncomfortable.

This was booked for a single night close to the airport as arrived later. Picked a basic room and it was very dated as was the property. Plus sides - clean and comfortable bed. Walked to the car rental the next morning.

Room is tiny and outdated. Shower is tiny with slippery tile steps leading to it. Towels are thin and a little bigger than a hand towel. Walls are thin. You hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. Everything. I requested no bottom room and despite making the res months earlier wasbplaced in a bottom floor on the farthest emd of the property. It is located in an industrial area.

Almost no WiFi signal and staff ignored the issue when I asked about it. Bathroom and shower tiny. AC does not cool off the room because it is next to the bathroom away from the bed.

Our room was very narrow, almost only bed! It has no kichen, table, or chair. And no window so we had to go out to get rid of our depressed feelings ASAP. We’ll never use this hotel.

The room had no windows and felt completely closed in—almost like being in a cell. The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. I had booked for six nights but ended up staying just one. Thankfully, my friends had an extra bed and let me crash with them after seeing my room.

Rini was very welcoming and kind. The room was clean, the queen bed was comfortable, and the fridge, microwave & coffee maker were great. I would definitely stay here again.

The clerk checked me in very quickly and then personally walked me out to show me where to park … and how to get there (an alley and one way streets are involved). Real Aloha spirit!

No kitchen. Fridge worked great. Parking was free & close by. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is not fancy but is perfectly clean. We have stayed here twice and would come back.

The hotel was within the vicinity of multiple dining and entertainment options. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The staff were able to check us in 3 hours early which was awesome. Would stay here again.

The hotel's location in Lihue made for a convenient drive to all destinations on Kauai.

The Kauai Palms is a great, clean hotel near the airport with friendly staff. We stayed two nights there in August before heading to our vacation rental on the Northshore. Would highly recommend for travelers seeking convenience and affordability near the airport.

Good motel to stay for late flights or a night to wait out flight next day. Not the best for longer stay as location is in center of town off main road.

Location was great, restaurants and bar within walking distance. Rene at the front desk was very welcoming upon arriving early and our room was ready! But, had an issue with the towels, it left lint all over by body when drying myself after showing. Had to shower again and used the "beach towels" they provided which was a different micro-fabric. Note to management: Please have the maintenance/garden park his grey truck somewhere else. He would block the staircase going onto Kalena street every morning making it difficult for us to get to our vehicle. Room was very small, but you get what you pay for, clean and well kept overall. Would return!

This property is in a great location within walking distance of some good eateries. Parking is easy and it was clean. Giving it a 4 as it is older but it is well maintained. Not much room for suitcases to be out and open. Staff were lovely.

Close to airport - hooray! Close to Hamura Saimin restaurant - yum! Great coffee in the lobby (thanks!), but real milk or half 'n' half would be a vast improvement over that yucky fake cream powder. It's not the Hilton, but you get every bit that you pay for. We are already repeat customers, and would stay here again. Mahalo!
