The security doors need to be fixed otherwise not bad area you need better security around the area though

They were in the middle of roof construction. There was roofing material strewn about the parking lot and i was concerned that my vehicle might be damaged. Also it was suppose to be a pet free hotel but i saw dogs and cats in and out of rooms.

Nice to have a kitchen area. Keycard machine was broken so every time you needed to get into your room, you had to ask the front desk to unlock your room.

Door to the stairwell didn't have a handle. Very dirty areas on flooring, hand rails and windows in and around the stairwell also. Cigaret butts, trash and large rocks in the parking lot. Room bed cover was very old with multiple holes that looked like burn marks. Floor wasn't clean and the vent in the bathroom was caked with dirt. The people who worked the front desk were great people however and as it's under new management, will hopefully be able to turn this hotel around.

Price. Futniture was in poor condition. Rooms ok. Elevator area very dirty

There was garbage everywhere in the parking lot

This motel is an extended stay motel with little regard for the short term stay customers. We were given a 3rd floor room at the opposite end of the motel away from the stairs or elevator. There were homeless people in the parking lot laying on the grass and camped in their cars. There were unleashed dogs a couple of small ones that the owner was standing outside the room watching run around the grass area and 2 unleashed large dogs. The elevator was filthy and smelled like trash. The room was supposed to be a single queen with a kitchenette. We definitely got a kitchenette. The bed was a full (that extra few inches makes a difference) and had one very thing blanket with a huge cigarette hole in it. The side table was missing a center drawer. The floor was sticky and the room smelled like cigarette smoke and pot. So much so, we went and bought room spray. But even though the toilet and sink weren't very clean, and the door didn't close, the shower was one of the cleanest I've been in in a long time. Not even worth the price when I felt unsafe.

The room was not clean and the security doors had been kicked in and did not close. I lost my money on the room but I did not want to stay once I saw the room. I did not feel safe at this property.

We arrived 10 minutes after check-in and we’re told our room wasn’t ready yet as a housekeeper called out sick and to come back in a half hour. That’s fine, sometimes you run behind. We show up about 40 minutes later and yes, our room was ‘ready.’ First red flag was entering the elevator and being greeted by trash in the corners and black buttons that originally were white. But we figure, it’s okay, just move on. We get to our room…. Even the multiple pictures I took wouldn’t do it justice of how UNCLEAN everything was. Dirt on the floor, some random object under the bed, burn holes in one comforter, food on the other. Toothpaste still around the bathroom sink, hair in the shower and surrounding the toilet. Dirt on the toilet seat and stains all over the curtains. At this point we weren’t going to go anywhere else as we were now an hour behind attending our event and didn’t plan an extra $250 for a better hotel so our only hope was that we had clean sheets. We ripped our comforters off the bed and made sure we were covered head to toe in clothes because we just needed a place to sleep for the night. When we get back around 12AM from our event, we find out our room key no longer works? According to other very obvious meth addicted patrons, this happens often. Get the key fixed, try to safety lock our door & well, we had to screw the safety lock back in ourselves. We hightailed it out of there at sunrise. Pros: has ac and Internet. Cons: everything else.

The motel is currently getting some updates and looks good from the main entrance side of the motel. Our room was located on the back side, that was not like the front side. Garbage everywhere and looked like some people must live there. When we went to bed, there was noise going up and down the inside stairs. Also had someone bouncing a baseball outside for hours. There was people living outside in the bushes. The room itself was ok, the floors were sticky and dirty and the room was full of bugs.

The room was never cleaned after whomever stayed before us. Used towels in bathroom, trash and tags on table, nail clippings on bed, trash bags in floor and men's beard shavings in bathroom sink. Shower with hair and extremely clearly not turned after last ppl.. no clean towels, had to go to the office to get some. Still haven't received my refund! Cockroaches as well!! Disgusting!

Bed bugs

I didnt even stay. I left because it was so filthy. There was blood on the top comforter, the bathroom was full of mold, pizza box in the fridge, pizza sauce all over the table and chairs and hair all over the sheets and pillows. Was awful.

This room was disgusting the furniture was duct taped together there was cigarette burns in the blankets. There was finger prints everywhere. Hair on the bedding. The bathroom has soap and tooth paste all around it.

Very dirty, bugs, ended up not even going back the second night and requested a refund. Should not even have this property as an option!

This hotel was disgusting. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night. We wanted to leave the same night we got to our room but it was too late to go anywhere else. It seems like whoever was suppose to clean our room decided not to get the job done. They left the mop, broom and dust pan with a pile of dirt next to it, dirty pillows with stains all over and the room had a strong smoke smell that all of our clothes and luggage smelled like smoke after leaving. Not sure how they’re receiving 5 stars, must be fake. Lesson learned, I’m never skimping out on hotels ever again!

Floor was dirty...room stunk...bugs in bed...overall not a clean room

This was a subpar stay. The door would not open the first night we stayed and security had to let us in. The door also would not shut when you were leaving the room unless you scanned the key. The second night we were able to obtain a key that would work occasionally on the door. In the room, we had no shower curtain and the floors were so dirty that if you walked around bare foot your feet turned black on the bottom. The staff were really nice and apologetic for the situation but really could not help.

The room had not been cleaned. There was no towels and no toilet paper. There was someone else’s soap with hair in it. It was dirty - someone’s garbage was scattered in a stairwell and some of the hotel doors didn’t close or open properly. I would not recommend anyone stay here if it can be avoided using any measures.

Checked in at 4:30 pm. Room 120’s Bedspread was filthy and has cigarette burn holes (photos available). The room was dirty, unkempt, and lacking the basic implements and hygiene that would allow for the use of the room for eating, drinking, and sleeping on the bed without the fear of infestation. Because of the above, I informed the Reception Desk Staff that we were leaving the hotel and asked him/her to cancel the charges or give a refund. S/He said I need to contact Expedia for this. I handed him/her our room keycards at 5:24 pm and we left the hotel. I contacted Expedia but they said the hotel declined my refund request.

Liked the check in process being very fast. However, everything else was off and didn’t meet expectations. For example, the room seemed dirty and smelly and had bugs all over. Overall, disappointed.

The staff were very thoughtful. I did feel safe, but the mattress was old and bumpy. The stove was not in good shape. It took very long for the griddle to heat and longer for it to cool. There was a nice microwave that I didn’t have proper dishes for, I should have stuck with that. The room was ok, but not the best. The price was pretty fair if money is a concern.

This was a comfy place.

Check in clerk was very unfriendly. Floors were dirty. Bed uncomfortable. Refrigerator loud and rattled. I had to unplug it to even go to sleep. Heat was uncontrollable in the room. There wasn’t enough bedding. When sheet as in like it. Won’t ever stay here again.

No hot water, non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes and was placed next to the designated smoking area, smelled strongly of bleach when first entered, wifi was slow and had to call the service provider to activate it using separate IP addresses for both phone and computer, other defects surfaced throughout the room during my stay, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and stank of cigarettes. My bags and clothes all have that sickly sweet nauseating odor of cigarettes now, washing them with Odoban to get it out. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, it made me appreciate Apple Tree in Northern Spokane.

Key repeatedly failed to work properly, power in entire room was lost when trying to turn on the heater and wouldn't come back on (it's Spokane so nights got to 15 degrees) and had to change rooms. Staff was great about trying to fix issues, but the property itself needs to be maintained so much better than it currently is.

We were put in the back rooms. The door was flimsy and full of dents. It had been forced open in the past. Tenant 2 floors up was on the balcony for hours yelling/swearing, etc at nobody. He was looking out at nothing/no one. Sketchy people hanging around. So so for clean. No shampoo, coffee in room or lobby, no breakfast. Just not comfortable at all. We'll never book again.

The property was fine the night staff that checked me was rude snappy and on her cell phone chatting with her boyfriend though the whole check in. When I asked about s near by pharmacy. All she said was on Sprague. Asked where that was she said we're on Sprague. Asked which direction got to upset and aggressively point to the left. I reminded her I wasn't from the area nor the state. She rolled her eyes walked away. Had to remind her I still needed my room key which she announced the room number. Huge no no. I worked in hospitalities for 25yrs. Managed properties all over the nation under all the big banners. This was ridiculous. This morning I ask for a late check out was told no, then gave me an extra 30min. Asked at 9am. Check out is at 11am. By 1030 had 3 different people come to my door asking if I was checking out. The last one who claimed to be the General manager was dressed like a las Vegas pump. Never again.

We arrived at 9:30 PM and no rooms were ready. 3 families ahead of us waiting for their rooms also. Was told it would be a 45min to hour wait before our room was ready. Since we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do about a refund. We left and drove 3 hours home. Now i've got to try and get a refund.

They lost our reservations another family got the same response. The guy at the dest was not friendly at all. Nope can't help you

The property is fine but the whole area is a gang hangout.

While the building may look old on the outside, the rooms are very clean and have been well maintained. I honestly was surprised how nice the rooms are here. The staff is great and was able to answer any questions I had. They do take a deposit of 100 dollars, and it was returned shortly after the stay. Good amount of nearby places to shop, especially if you are on a tight budget like I currently am. This is the best of the budget hotels in town.

Shady people staying at the hotel and the area around it.

The property is generally quiet even if it's close to a main street in the city. The staff are great and friendly, they are always willing to help. The linens and the towels are clean, and the entire room as well. Just be careful of the some dog poop on the ground, as some guests probably let their dogs poop there. I will still give them an excellent review despite that.

It was okay. Stay there for 1 night. At least the room didn’t smell smoky. Not far away from Costco.

Rough area

I did not stay the night. It was not clean, nor did I feel safe. The accommodations were so deplorable that I left within minutes of arriving and had to rent at another Hotel in the area, as I live out of state. I would appreciate a refund, but doubt I am allowed to receive one.

I start this by saying we did not know a whole lot about Spokane Washington before we started out 3 day stay. We learned a lot in our three days day’s in Spokane. Upon arriving at the hotel we noticed the area wasn’t the greatest. We decided to check in besides feeling a little uncomfortable. The person at the desk was really friendly. We were told to go to the back parking lot because our room faces the back. As we drove back we noticed multiple people standing around and what I will describe as a prostitute. We decided to go check out the room as we start to do that we were met with even more people that made us uncomfortable. There was also an ambulance picking up someone that flew lives at the hotel. There were also signs that this hotel rented the rooms for people to live and by the hour. We get to the room,it took us seven tries to get the door to open. Once we did we were met with the smell of cigarette smoke, upon further examination of the room, the blankets had cigarette burns on them, the room wasn’t very clean. Both of our children were visibly uncomfortable and upset. At that time we decided we were not going to stay there. We went back to the front desk. Explained what we saw. The guy at the desk told us he understood told us we would get a refund gave us our receipt with our refund details. This was on Friday of our first day there as of today Monday we still haven’t received a refund. I cannot stress this enough DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY it is unsafe.

No coffee, no hot beverage cups, heater blew cold air, bathroom door did not close shut, major gap around entry door bottom seal. Was not pleased at all.

We had a one night reservation. The room floor was dirty. The stove and microwave were damaged. No coffee maker, hair dryer or other typical accessories.

The 1st room received was not serviced, so I had to get another room. There was a half-consumed pop in the fridge of the second room and the TV did not work due to not being hooked up to cable/internet service. This clerk was apologetic but not helpful stating he didn't know what to do about the TV. No Coffee or Snack center as advertised.

Comfortable budget lodging. All appurtenances supplied in room except for coffee maker. Easy parking.

The room i was in was very far away from my vehicle and smokers were walking by my room frequently. A lot of men were hanging out drinking beer outside after 9 when i got home. It made me as a single woman feel slightly concerned. One fella wanted to come into my room. The venting must be interconnected because my non smoking room smelled like old smoke that evening when i arrived back from my meeting. It smelled fine when i first arrived. The bed was awesome!! Not enough blankets for me, but they were clean and all white. . The fridge was huge! They have a hot plate type set up built into the counter for cooking. A nice sized sink nearby the burners with a decent place to prepare simple foods. No tub, which i enjoy after a long drive. But the shower was nice. Athsetics were pretty rough older laminate flooring. The bedding was very plain and uninviting... needed some nice color. More wall art would be nice. Toiletries included a tiny bar of soap. They had no coffee pot in there. Shocking! I brought my own tea, but had to go buy a kettle to make my evening and morning hot drinks. I think this place is not really a motel. We have one like it back home. They rent out monthly to folk. The exterior building looked nice in the front. Grass was a bit long and uneven. Parking is tight. Room was clean. Smelled of disinfectent.

The on-site manager called me to ask if the room was OK. This was extraordinary. We talked about adjusting the shower curtain and options for coffee in the morning. I felt she really cared about her guests.

We stayed at this hotel because I saw they had a mini kitchen. Thought we could cook a couple meals as I was there having surgery. When we arrived, we realized the only thing they supplied was toilet paper and towels for bathroom. There are no dishes, no pans no shampoo. no Kleenex, nothing. The people who live in the hotel, I’m assuming All sat outside the rooms and smoked right by the rooms. Even though the sign was right there that said no smoking within 25 feet of the building. So while I was trying to recover from surgery, they were yelling and screaming outside until like two in the morning. The room could’ve been nice if it was cleaned properly and had supplies to use in it. I got into bed and my wife looked at my feet and they were completely black and the only time I ever take off my shoes is in the room. We are not bougie people and don’t expect to be catered when we stay places. But I don’t think a box of Kleenex and some shampoo is too much to ask for, we had to go buy a blow dryer because most hotels have one nowadays. As as well as shampoo and soap. It would’ve cost us less to stay at a hotel that charged twice as much and I could’ve gotten some sleep.
