Travel Inn

The staff is great and very helpful. Nothing fancy but for the price point, extremely affordable as opposed to others. Fantastic cable options and on-site laundry is a definite added bonus...

At this price point I was expecting it to be sketchy, but Travel Inn set a new bar for sketch. When I arrived at 11pm to check in, I was directed to a bullet-proof wicket where I had to stuff my ID and papers through a slot. Obviously this motel is used for a lot of shady business, as I had to sign a fairly extensive waiver at check-in. There was a lot grilling about who would be in the room and what I would be doing. After much photocopying of IDs and establishing of paper trail, I was given my room key. On the way to my room I passed the pool area, which had a sign saying WARNING - POOL CLOSED. This sign was fairly unnecessary as the pool was covered and there was some kind of brown and yellow growth all over the cover. Arriving at my room I immediately noticed that the door had clearly been forced open numerous times in the past; the frame was dented and chipped around the handle. Inside, the security latch had been broken off. The room. Stains everywhere, holes in walls/doors, burn marks on the tub, sink wouldn’t drain. There was one bar of soap, but no shampoo or even a cup in the bathroom. When I went to get into the bed, I found there was no top sheet. At that point staff had left for the night, so I had to sleep directly under the horrible stained bedspread. I soon discovered there were train tracks nearby and the diesel horn blasts ensured regular awakenings. At 6am I couldn’t stay in that disgusting bed any longer, so I got up and got the hell out of there.

The staff was decent, rooms were disgusting, loud neighbors. Ripped bedding, toilets were not cleaned, everything smelled like mildew. Truly was an awful experience.

Room smelled like an ash tray and the bedding had burn holes in it. There where burn marks all over the room. The curtains would not stay on the curtain rod because the rod was missing the hook holders. the door had gaps in it and you can hear the highway noise. I left a day early and they would not refund my money for that one day.

The room was dirty. The sheets and towels had stains. The tub was stained. The clothes rack was broken. It smelled bad and was disgusting.

Friendly & easy check-in/out, room was very clean, nice shower pressure. Would have been nicer if a fridge and microwave was provided and if the bed wasn't pushed up against the wall

This was a terrible place. There was dirt that I believe had been there since 1982. The phone cord had the wires exposed midway between the handset and the base for about 4 or so inches. The blanket had cigarette burns and might have been 1/4 inch thick. The bathtub had cigarette burns on the edge next to the toilet. I could not sleep due to the multiple trains traveling nearby, blasting their whistles to warn traffic they were coming by. I felt like there was going to be a serious fight between rooms, screaming and yelling at 1:30am. I actually checked out after that night instead of staying the second night of my paid stay. Losing one night $$ was not worth a second night in this dismal excuse of a motel. I didn't expect much and I got even less. Save yourself the misery and stay anywhere else.

I had to clean the room before my husband & i could even get comfortable, all of the towels & wash cloths were soiled & when i tried to get clean ones i was told they are clean just stained & that all of them are like that. At check in the rate that i booked at was increased, $30 for a deposit which was not disclosed when we booked the reservation, they didnt have a non smoking room available so we had to pay a $20 smoking fee even though we dont smoke, so our $130 reservation went to $190 stay.

Shower/tub water temperature was reversed. If you got it set, it would steadily creep to scalding hot. Did not use bathtub because of crack in side, cigarette burns everywhere. Had to squat and wash off with water running out of the tub faucet like a caveman. Sink faucet only put out a little water. Peephole and door latch missing, you can see into the whole room from outside. Power outlet beside door barely works, probably dangerous. Wifi did not reach my room. Room was dirty. Cigarette burns on blanket and desk. Found somebody's hair in the bed when I woke up, which is pretty weird since I travel and work alone. Probably other stuff I'm forgetting, don't stay here. I'd rather just sleep in my car.

When I arrived my sheets hadn’t been changed. Hair and stains all on the sheets. Comforter and Sheets had cigarette burns. Desk chair was filthy. I asked for fresh sheets it took a hour to get them.

Was skeptical when I first stayed here because wasn’t familiar with this place and how it was going to go. I’ll tell you one thing, bed was very comfortable which means a lot since I am a bigger guy. Staff at the front desk was easy to work with. My only con isn’t even their fault but if you stay here with kids, ask to be on the side away from the highway. It’s very loud. No bugs, hot water and good water pressure. I was surprised the value for the price.

The bedspread was old and had holes in it. The bathroom floor tiles were coming up. very little bathroom tissue in the bathroom mattress was not that great. I could feel the springs.

The AC was next to the bed (touching), noisy, heat comes direct at you, loud car noise from the highway (poor insulation). Floor was dirty

Great front desk. Always helpful. Great value for the money. Close to highways for convenience to get anywhere you want to go

The staff was terrible. He was very rude and impatient. Then when my 9 year old daughter was looking around the snack shop, he accused her of stealing. There was also a surprise deposit of $30, which i won't get back for seven to ten business days. When we got to the room there were about a dozen holes in the bedding. I know it is a cheap place to stay, but come on...

Did not give deposit back

Booked the room online and they would not let us inside the property due to not having a $30 deposit. Made us sit outside on the curb until we had someone physically bring us money. Very unkind and uncompassionate.

Rooms are extremely dirty. Front desk staff is not knowledgeable and aren’t able to speak English properly. It takes extremely long time to check in/out. I waited for an hour to check in my room. Also be cautious that this hotel does not refund the deposits “if you do not show up at the front desk while checking out”. This is what they told me. Honestly, that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I was greeted by the guy at the front desk right away and he let me know that even though I paid online there would be a $60 cash deposit. I let him know that I did not have $60 cash deposited and then I was unaware I was supposed to. He then asked me if I had a boyfriend and made me feel very uncomfortable by making comments saying he would accept my $10 deposit if that's all I had but he wanted me to give him my Facebook information etc and even worse at check out the next morning when I went to get my $10 deposit back he kept asking me questions almost as if he wasn't going to give it to me unless I said what he wanted to hear. She said he wanted me to fall in love with him and to give him my heart and told me his work schedule and everything and I told him I was in a huge hurry and needed to leave. He then proceeded to give me my $10 and tried walking me out of the hotel I proceeded to walk away by myself and he grabbed my ass. I thought about reporting him and honestly still might . My experience was awful due to this man. I had to be worried the whole night that he was going to break into my room and take advantage of me. I will never go to this hotel again and I doubt that I'm the first woman he has done this too.

This property is located in bad area. Once I seen the shape of my room I left. Roof falling and afraid to set my bags down due to the over all appearance and probability of bugs. Would not recommend for anyone.
