Ionian Crown Suites in Barbati

Loved our stay here. Exceeded our expectations. Sure, some teething problems being a new resort, but clear to see they really care about the guests experience and the future of the project. A lot of care and attention goes into many moving parts, even the smallest of parts play a huge roll in making the stay so memorable. We arrived after reception was closed. Communication from the very moment our booking was confirmed was excellent. They booked our taxi for us and provided clear instructions how to find our room. Following morning in the light of day, walking to breakfast and seeing the sea not more than 10m away was breathtaking. Breakfast was ideal, staff explained how it works very clearly and as such made each morning a welcome start to the day. The location in Barbati is ideal. Left or right along the beach you will find other beach clubs, all looked lovely, just not as lovely. Especially when sunbed hire seems expensive, but it’s included for staying guests. Out the resort and up the hill (it’s steep) only a couple minutes, turn right and you’re find a really good selection of supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants. We stayed local, didn’t hire a car, didn’t explore. Didn’t even go left at the top of the hill. More than enough for us for the week. Highly recommend 10/10

We had a fantastic and relaxing time in this freshly made resort! Everything was GREAT! the staff, the structure, the cleanliness, the food and the beach facilities were incredible. All we can say is “thanks and see you next year”!

What a disappointment this hotel was. It is new this season and was clearly rushed. The design is terrible. All the rooms are described as ‘garden view.’ The reality is that they look onto a carpark. There’s a building site behind the hotel and a huge diesel generator facing the rooms. The staff are very friendly and kind but badly trained. They sit around in their phones leaving rubbish on the floor for hours, tables uncleared etc. when we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes in reception as there was no one there. The man in charge of the car park ended up calling someone for us. In their rush to finish, there are badly laid and broken paving slabs and fencing which is falling down. For over £220 per night this is really poor. The rooms are nicely designed which was the only reason we didn’t end up leaving for another hotel. Housekeeping, however, didn’t come until 5pm each day when we were just getting ready to get showered. Cleaning equipment and full bin bags were also left in corridors overnight. The restaurant and bar were almost completely empty every night… no atmosphere at all. Breakfast was very basic. Such a shame. We’re at another hotel now paying half the price for a far far better experience

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på Ionian Crown Suites i Barbati! Hotellet är väldigt fint, fräscht och välskött, med en härlig atmosfär och ett perfekt läge för en avkopplande semester på Korfu. Ett extra stort tack till Alex, som var otroligt hjälpsam, trevlig och serviceinriktad under hela vår vistelse. Han gjorde verkligen det lilla extra för att vi skulle känna oss välkomna och hjälpte oss med allt vi behövde. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse och kan varmt rekommendera Ionian Crown Suites.
