The Station Inn

you enter through a moody bar. they then will take a £50 deposit ( not a hold ) and then refund to an account after you check out very odd. The room needed painting as there were marks everywhere, floor needed hoovering properly as there was long black hair everywhere (it stuck to my socks) bed needed a new mattress and bathroom had black mould. I felt very unsafe. when you leave you leave your keys in a basket on the way out, which was concerning. I took a video of the room just in case I didn't get the £50, I did get it back the following day without problem.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, pet friendly, room was clean and basic could of done with new mattresses as could feel springs, bathroom could do with bit revamping as black mould on grouting in shower looked very tired, but I would stay here again no problem great little place

The room was spotless. the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us. There was a bit of noise outside on occasion but not any fault of the Inn. One thing they could improve on is: our window was quite draughty and a cold breeze kept blowing on my face. Also there would be less noise from the outside. But great overall.

The hotel is very tired and not very salubrious clientele in the pub. Its good value for money beijg close to the NEc Biggest issue though was no pillow protectors although the sheets and pillow cases were clean, it was a bit ick. Staff were nice If you can afford a bit more,stay somewhere else would be my recommendation ors on the staibed pillows and
