Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. AC worked great. There's a pool but they kept telling us they put chemicals in it and it wasnt ready for use. Free breakfast was mostly cereal and some muffins so dont count on it to feed anyone. Overall was a good bang for the buck in a convenient area.

Easy parking

The room itself was okay. I found a live roach on the bed and floor. Besides that, the room was clean and spacious. Good food and shopping within 5 to 10 minutes. Elevator was not working. The stairs were dirty and appeared that people might be living in the stairs. The free breakfast is small muffins, cereal, and coffee. No hot food is served. Overall, it’s fine if you’re on a tight budget. Otherwise, find a different hotel.

The smell of marijuana was so strong all over the facility. I was there with my sisters and my 78-year-old mom who has knee issues and is not able to climb stairs. They told us the elevator was not working for the night, so we had to carry our luggage and help my mom up to the second floor. The stairs are disgustingly duty. The elevator did not work the whole four days we were there. Once we got to the room the marijuana smell was so strong, we had to put towels under the door to keep it out of the room. The next day after being out we came back and found our room had not been cleaned. The front desk said they don't provide housekeeping service every day. I asked if they could clean our room the next day. he said he would make a note. We did not get our room cleaned once, we were there for four days. We had to go and ask for toilet paper and towels each time we needed it. They moved us to the lower floor on the second day, which did not eliminate the smell of marijuana. they allow their guests to smoke on the third floor and the guests were not just smoking cigarettes. I wanted to check out but they would not give me a refund for the rest of the nights. The hot water was also not available on the last two days we had to wait over 20 minutes in between showers to get hot water. I got a coupon from hotels.com to use at another Days Inn but it will never be used thanks to the experience we had at this hotel I will never book with this hotel chain again.

We stay for 3 nights and the elevator broke for 3 nights. We stay at 3 floor and we have to walk back and forth. Not recommended!

They are renovating the property so there is trash all near the pool sitting there for who knows how long. Breakfast was cereal with forks literally just this. No pool closed . Room outlet wasn’t working and room ac wasn’t able to shut off so we had to change rooms 2x overpaid for this stay !!! Extremely mad with the service

I had no shower curtain, only towel and we were 4. My garbage was never taken out. Rude staff, gym not working, didn’t sell anything food wise in the food display.

I don't like how they leave the side door open.

They have great service just major things you suppose to have available isn’t available like washer & dryers but other than that I would stay again

Horrible hotel! As soon as we got inside, it smelled musty. There seemed to be no a/c or ventilation in common areas & it was filthy. The room we were assigned to had black mold on the curtains above the A/C unit. We requested for a refund, but they declined & assigned us a keycard to another room. When we opened the 2nd room, we were surprised to see that it was occupied! Again, we requested a refund but they only assigned us a 3rd room. When we went inside, the beds were soiled & stained and there was a live cockroach in the tub. We walked out of the hotel - no way will we be sleeping there.

Horrible experience, as soon as I walked in the hotel, there was an ugly smell that I couldn't stand. When I walked into the room, a bunch of cockroaches were crawling on the floor!

We found roaches all over the room. The carpets were dirty. We checked out the same night.

The walk ways are so dirty, smells, and unkempt. Even though a renovation is taking place, they should keep the walk ways clean and free of smell.

Extremely dirty hotel, no coffee, bed is horrible, couch sinks down, people slam indoors all night, toilet running, people smoking weed and other drugs in the hallway. Will not visit again. Wish I could get my money back

Bed sheets were dirty, no trash can in the room, no remote control to the TV, bathroom floor was dirty. I could not sleep on the bed, didn't want to use the bathroom for anything. Terrible experience, never had this experience.

Lighting is dim throughout (kind of like late 90's florescent daylight bulbs) and didn't feel safe but I didn't really run into many other guests. Strange odor also everywhere inside. Price was not expensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

There were no movie channels like hbo or cinemax, etc. a guest had a dog that yapped and woke me at 5am., also, the people above me kept stomping around so it was not quiet for me. The room was very clean and the coffee was good.

Patel is very professional and helpful. Check-in was easy and there was no deposit when paying with my credit card. Rooms are newly refreshed, clean, and comfy. It will be my go to when I am working in this area.

The hotel is relatively clean, but the bed is not comfortable, because it sinks in deeply, causing back pain, so it is difficult to sleep..

Dark & Dingy hotel and room (#212), poor internet, had only one chair which was broken, no sofa or couch to use, although it was listed during reservation but found just an empty space in the room where the sofa was supposed to be, very noisy, could hear people walking and yelling at each other in the corridor, loud music from the adjacent room (#210) until 2:00AM, woke up to loud noises from room upstairs, had paid for two nights stay but quit the place the next day foregoing the second night's stay, felt quite unsafe and extremely uncomfortable, reception is poorly staffed, just one guy trying to run the whole place, had to go looking for the receptionist to check out.. will never ever stay at this hotel again and also warn everyone about this place. I am also extremely disappointed and feel cheated to see this hotel listed on expedia.. never expected to find such an unsafe and horrible hotel listed on expedia..

The man at the front desk is the most unprofessional individual in the world & should never be allowed to work at anything place that has to do with hospitality.

First the door wont open with the card they gave it took a day before it was fixed. Carpet in the hallways are dirty and smells needs to replace with wood or tile. Continental breakfast the same everyday no variation. Guy at the front desk stays at the back leaves the desk you have to call then he comes out. Check in slow. Needs a lot of improvement.

Met Edward the GM. Seemed like a real nice guy. Asked if room was OK? I told him yes fine. He explained that they were working to improve the hotel. There were some minor issues but overall the Hotel is nicer than many Days Inn,

We had a problem with the first room that was non-smoking, but smelled like people had been smoking in it. Luckily the person at the front desk immediately changed us to a different room. The exterior of the building was fine, the lobby was fine, but the hallways floors were very dirty. The second room was clean and comfortable. we've stayed in this hotel a few times before and unfortunately it seems like it is in decline from where it used to be. Overall, it was ok for the price, but don't expect anything more.

I mean i definitely got what i paid for. Tried to be nice to the front staff just to not have anybody respond to us. So not welcoming at all. Never once had house keepers come.

The head of housekeeping and front desk girl are absolutely the highlight of the property, These girls are the epitome of hospitality. This just proves how a place could have cosmetic issues but with the right attitude makes up for it

Check in at 3:40 pm they gave card but didn’t went to the room to checkout I came back around 10:30 pm and when I try to open the door my card wouldn’t go thru I knocked to see if someone was in and a lady responded. She said this my room. So I went downstairs to the lobby to inform about these huge mistakes they said they didn’t have any rooms available. Huge mistake would never come back here

Safe and quite environment, walkable distance to shopping center and available parking. Breakfast need some improvements.

My recent vacation stay at this hotel was generally okay. The location was quite convenient, allowing me easy access to the Bellair area and downtown, which was exactly what I was looking for. The area around the hotel is nice, with a park right behind the property where I enjoyed walking for exercise and fresh air. Additionally, there are plenty of nearby options, including a Chinese buffet, various stores, and restaurants, making it easy to find something to eat or shop. The staff was alright overall. However, I did notice they seemed a bit unhappy when I requested simple items like a pen. It would be better if they were more welcoming and helpful with such requests. One thing that could be improved is communication about the key policy. We weren't informed that the keys are changed daily, which caused some confusion when our key stopped working on the last day. We only realized this when we tried to use the door and had to go to the front desk for assistance, which was inconvenient, especially since our room was located near the back exit. Another aspect that could be improved is the availability of towels at the front desk. We ran out of towels and asked for more, but the staff directed us to the janitor, who informed us they were running out. It would make for a better guest experience if towels were more readily available at the reception area. Overall, the hotel served its purpose with a decent location and basic amenities.

Great room and location for the price.

Booked this place close to thanksgiving so it was kind of a last resort. The room itself was clean-ish, minus the wear on the wall edges and the heater being FILTHY, but the noise was AWFUL. All through the night there were dogs barking, people yelling possibly fighting, cars revving up in the lot, and the walls were so thin that it was too clear. When we got there in the late evening, someone was sleeping on the floor in the hallway. Thankfully we were just there one night.

Not good Area, stinky place I will never recommend to anyone.

This is a disgrace to your brand. The surrounding is dirty. Barely serves nothing on the breakfast. The pillow are too small. The carpet needs cleaning. The front desk is slow and don’t have any customer service. Bad experience.

Great check in experience. Room was clean except for the coffee pot. They had left the coffee filters from someone else inside. Room was missing the smoke detector. Breakfast was lacking.

In general, the Inn was dirty, cheap. Cockroach and cigarette smell are awful. Some homeless people slept in the stair overnight. We informed the staffs that our sink faucet handle was broken. They never fixed it. It advertised free breakfast, but I wouldn't call it breakfast as all they served were cereal, muffin and banana. Even though the price was low, but it still isn't worth it.

I stayed at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston / West Energy Corridor and was very disappointed. The property was dirty and noisy, and what they called “breakfast” was nothing more than small cupcakes, cold coffee, and some kids’ colored cornflakes placed on a dirty table. Overall, the place is poorly maintained and not worth staying at.

Too noisy. Hall way and elevator smell bad. Breakfas is just a cupcake and orange juice that tasted horrible.

They can do better the was hair all over the bathroom the microwave had rust in it, the was no pressing iron nor ironing board. The bedsheets had a stains, no breakfast as stated on the booking site.

The non smoking room was reeking of sigarette smoke. The breakfast consisted of muffins and cereal. The premises were in poor condition and smelled badly. I would not recommend anyone staying there.
