The White Hart Inn by Greene King Inns

Breakfast ok, room was noisy as the wind was blowing on one of the windows and making it creek but bed comfy.

We found all the staff extremely going and helpful, the manage went over and above to assist us with local information and guidance. This a fantastic place to stay for visiting the area in general but Silverstone in particular. Only a 15 minute drive away.

I stayed for 5 nights, travelling on my own. I had a double room, which was very spacious. The ensuite bathroom had a large walk in shower. Everything was clean. The windows opened for natural ventilation; there was also an air conditioning unit, although I didn't need to use it. My only gripe with the room was that on Friday night you could hear music from the bar downstairs. As I left on Saturday morning I don't know if that's an issue all weekend. Breakfast was a choice of continental or various cooked options; I had the big breakfast every morning which was very generous. The hotel has a restaurant serving lunch and evening meals. I only ate there once, but would be perfectly happy to go back. Whilst there is a free car park for guests, and I managed to get a space when I needed one, it is a bit on the small side, which is why I only gave 4/5 for amenities. Apart from checking in and ordering breakfast, I didn't interact with the staff very much, but all the people I encountered were polite and helpful. The hotel is in the town centre, and buses to other towns such as Oxford stop nearby. All in, the White Hart is an excellent place to stay for a short holiday.
