Casa Teresa

On the 5th night of our 2 week Italian holiday this was our nicest property and room so far. Pre booking communication was good and helpful with directions and advice on finding them. Checking was very efficient and the manager gave us excellent advice for restaurants for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Our room was very large and very clean, with a pretty balcony. I would certainly return to Casa Tereasa

Charming & comfortable! The private terrace off our room had spectacular views. This property was a great stay and good value! Truly near everything but quietly tucked away from the bustling & tourist area. It’s easier to walk the steps down to the beach and take a boat to the main area to walk back after a day on the beach. Pro tip the cost of the boat is included with the Grassi beach club! We WILL stay here again.

Priced like 5 stars, experience like 2 stars. Located deep in the small alley, the owner does not like we checking in later than planned.

Our stay at Casa Teresa was wonderful and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Positano. Just know that if you’re expecting a large luxury hotel, this isn’t that or for you. Casa Teresa is a small, family-owned property with only 8 rooms, so it feels much more like a charming bed and breakfast or even like staying in your grandparent’s home. It has a warm, personal atmosphere that made us feel very welcome. From the moment we let them know we were arriving, they were incredibly helpful. They recommended paying for porter service for our luggage, which was excellent advice since navigating Positano’s steep hills and endless stairs with suitcases would have been a challenge. Manu, the owner’s daughter, checked us in and was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us several restaurant recommendations, and every one we tried was fantastic. The location worked out perfectly for us. It’s just off via fornillo, close to plenty of restaurants, shops and bus stop. No matter where you stay in Positano, you’ll be walking a lot. Our room was spacious, had a lovely balcony and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cold, which was much appreciated after long days exploring. The grounds were beautifully maintained. We had a great experience. The genuine hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and excellent location made for a memorable stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a cozy, authentic place to stay in Positano. We loved our stay here, the buffet breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Italy so far. The room was very clean, the bathroom provided extras like toothbrush/paste, nail file, cotton swabs etc. our room opened onto a very nice terrace with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you take a ferry to Positano I heavily suggest using the porter at the dock to take your suitcases to the hotel and then grab a taxi up the way. Otherwise take the long winding hill but not the 400 steps.
