Just renovated and it looks great. Rooms are clean and the staff is excellent as always. Other than ice, coffee and some vending machines nothing else is available. However, there are many options within close proximity and a Mall and many stores nearby. The suites are truly wonderful with 2 large rooms, each with its own TV and the sofa has a pull out bed offering even more sleeping room. King rooms are good although those abutting the main road can be noisy from the traffic. Overall a wonderful option especially for those in this price range. If you want more you can find it but at a higher price.

Lack of care and concern for well being . Did not provide clean , sanitize linens and towels. Handed a dirty microwave, returned promptly to Betty, in minutes. That was rude. Requested clean towels , never provided. I washed towels at nearby laundromat and had my own towel. Misrepresented reviews , it's in need of parking lot repair and holes filled. Dirty dirty carpet and walls. May be there are rooms being reinovatd but didn't notice . Images 6 attached and I have more.dirty stained blinds , pillows, dust build up

I never give reviews but this one I just have to review it. First of all the pictures are completely different from what the room looks like. The furniture was old and scratched up and stained. They was a huge hairball in the shower floor. The linen was stained with blood and the mattress was old and soft in the middle; and place was so small. It is was disgusting to the point where my friend and I did not even stay there the night we just left. We were afraid we could bring home bedbugs that’s how bad it was. And also when I first got there, there was a man in a truck just staring at me while I took my belongings out of my car. I mean he was just starting without any shame. His neck was completely turned to me like I thought he could break damn neck. It was completely unsafe as far as I’m concerned. We went to the Hilton and paid $250 for a couple hours but it was worth it.

The Whitman Motor Lodge is a nicely renovated motor lodge. The king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modernized with beautiful tile floor and walls. The room was a bit on the small side and parking a bit tight, but overall we were very pleased with our stay.

The room (kitchen one) was spacious and well decorated but the kitchen area needed a lot of work and not a lot of thought went into how things and what things were actually used in the room. The water pressure and hot water were terrific, beds were comfy with a properly hard mattress. What I absolutely hated was the TV channel selection. It is not the 1950s, men are not the only ones traveling while the little woman stays home or if she comes is so busy caring for hubby she has no time for TV. There are other things besides sports (22 channels?) and news (12 channels?) on. How about TLC, VH1, Discovery, some decent HBO, Paramount, TMC, TCM and more. Do we need four cartoon channels? It is the worst channel lineup I have ever seen in all my years of travel and the 100s of hotels I have stayed at.

Conveniently located, it was a quiet neighborhood yet still close to restaurants and ample shopping. The beds were comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The staff was very nice and check in and out was a breeze.

The Motel is updated and very clean! The office offered us a different room in the back which was two double beds but in the back off of the road for less noise. We had song booked in the front of the building so decided to stay with that. Bad decision on our part! The room was lovely but the noise from the road and bar across the street kept us up all night. We should have taken the free upgrade double beds in the back. Other than that the check in en was lovely and did offer us the upgrade to the back:)

Great value for the price! The owner gave us a super friendly welcome, and was very helpful, she even stored in her fridge some food items we had between our checkout and leaving the area. It is clear that she cares a lot about the hotel and her guests! The room was spacious and very clean, we had a room away from the road and it was very quiet. The staff overall were very nice and helpful too. Would happily recommend staying at Whitman Motor Lodge, it was a much better experience than chain hotels.

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this hotel, and we absolutely love it. The staff is incredible, especially the lady at the front desk, whom I believe is the owner. The rooms are always clean and well-maintained, and they are nicely updated. Whenever we’re in the area, we’ll always stay at the Whitman Motor Lodge. .

I liked Betty at the front desk, she was friendly and was very helpful in securing an extended stay over a very busy weekend. The rooms appear to be updated and very clean. The only downside is very little around within walking distance.

When looking for somewhere to stay, read reviews for this motel & decided to book it. Glad we did. Small old school motel on Jericho Turnpike, 14 mins from the Paramount. Room looked like it was renovated. Room was very clean & the bed was comfortable. There was a refrigerator & microwave. Bathroom was modern & clean. The lady (owner ?) who checked us in was very nice. Will definitely stay again !

The property was 20 minutes from cold spring harbor and Oyster Bay/Sagamore Hill. The motel is an older style motor inn on the Jericho Turnpike which is a busy major roadway. Not a lot of options in this area but the owners and staff try very hard to please and it shows. One thing was not mentioned by other reviews. Huntington Station has a not so great reputation but the actual location of the Motel is in a good safe area and closer the to Walt Whitman mall than to the center of town.

The property mgr was friendly and inviting. The room super clean, remodeled, hot/hot water. Room had a small refridge/freezer. Bed was very comfy. Lodge was convenient to shopping, nightlife, food and main roads. This place was great for a few nights. We will return.

Betty at the front desk is lovely .Very quick check-in. Room is basic. No refrigerator or coffee machine. I was happy there was a coffee pot near the office. There is a community microwave but you need your own utensils. Basically a great place for an overnight.

Just renovated and it looks great. Rooms are clean and the staff is excellent as always. Other than ice, coffee and some vending machines nothing else is available. However, there are many options within close proximity and a Mall and many stores nearby. The suites are truly wonderful with 2 large rooms, each with its own TV and the sofa has a pull out bed offering even more sleeping room. King rooms are good although those abutting the main road can be noisy from the traffic. Overall a wonderful option especially for those in this price range. If you want more you can find it but at a higher price.

Very convenient, clean, quiet, and the staff is friendly. Enjoy staying here whenever we are in the area. The only thing that would be nice is coffee available in the evening since there aren't any personal coffee makers in the room. But definitely not a deal breaker, it just would be a nice thing.

Super happy with the Whitman. Super clean room (definitely more upgraded than the lobby would suggest) VERY nice staff and Super convenient location. Bar and grill conveniently located accross the street. There is no outside seating area, but that was fine as it was raining for 2 days we were there
