Radisson should be ashamed of itself. No one from corporate has been in to look at the condition of this hotel in years. Floors were filthy with old welcome mats strewn over, clearly a tripping hazard. The floor in the elevator had not been washed in years. The front desk was in disarray. The carpet in the room was also filthy. The pull out sofa was also very old, had no blankets or pillow. Although the gym equipment was Life Fitness, the TV didn’t work, there were no towels, no water, and no antibacterial wipes. The overall condition of the hotel was exceptionally poor.

The elevator was dirty, cracked floor tile, broken elevator license plate, loose elevator panel with floor numbers, carpet on 4th floor wrinkled and torn at some areas and old rundown chair by elevator and old furniture. Mattresses also old.

They have less than half a parking lot because a Nissan dealership uses more than half of their parking lot. I called to confirm i could check in later in the night and was told that if i didnt check in by 7pm they would give my already paid for room to someone else.

The first day I noticed a lot of gnats in the room and informed the person at the front desk. They were supposed to be finding me another room but I would have to wake my husband up in the middle of the night in order to move into a different room. I definitely didn’t want to disturb him so I just suffered through it. On the last day the ice machine on the second floor wasn’t working at all . This place needs a lot of updating and upgrades.

The building is just run down and not up to Country standards. Broken parts in elevator (Buttons missing, frame broken and so on), carpets in halls wrinkled up and worn, Shower faucet stripped, real thin towels every 3 days….and on and on. We were very let down! Not even an afternoon cookie at this place. This was the last 3 days of our vacation so we just put up with it.

The bathroom was not clean… their was hair left in the shower and I requested for the room to be cleaned again they never came and cleaned it.. there was old candy left under the sheets… the pool was dirty and they had no cleans towels the next morning.

The pool had a film of foam covering it. All amenities were dirty and disappointing. I won’t recommend to anyone

The pool said it was heated it was freezing cold. They never came and cleaned our room for 3 days and only gave 1 towel for a double queen room we had to go ask for towels daily. The hotel needs some serious remodeling

The room was dirty….the bathroom sink was stopped up as if someone put food in it. The shower had mold pic attached. The carpet was filthy. No towels in room had to go ask for them. Mirror was dirty. No upkeep at all and I am highly disappointed and sickened. I travel regularly and this is my worst experience by far. I will never stay at a Country Home and Suites again.

Poorly constructed rooms mold on the bathroom ceiling. The whole hotel smelled like marijuana smoke carpets were very dirty desk attendants were not knowledgeable at all about service, animal laws and hostile

They gave me a very dirty room, with an unmade bed and when I went back to get a "clean" one they gave me a room that was extremely dirty, very bad mold smell, moist carpet and bed sheets. Room had mold in bathroom and no towels! The hotel was extremely dirty and I felt like I was in a really cheap motel!

the hotel was smelling funky, smell like cigarettes, it just stank in there, got to the room it was disgusting, floor dirty, bed dirty, it was all type of public hairs on the sheets looks like they never changed the sheet since the last person since there is a whole stank on the sheet, there was a bee dead in the tub. Room looks like no one ever cleaned!!!!!!!! The front desk said no refund since we booked online , so instead of sleeping there we went back to Grand Rapids which was a 2-3 hour drive at 9pm in the rain.

There is a $100 deposit upon checking in The ice machine on the third floor did not work... So I was not able to obtain ice without going to some other floor end out of my way.. The rooms were at adequate, but quite dated a lot of stains on the carpets as well as a furnishings in the room.. This hotel definitely requires an upgrade. The walls are very thin and the insulation is not great. You can hear people up-and-down the hall all night.. Certainly not the best night of sleep that I've had... I would definitely think twice before frequenting this establishment again.

I had stayed at this hotel 6 or 7 years ago and found it completely acceptable, and rather nice. It seems to have gone downhill since then. We had no maid service the entire 4 days we were there, and had no hand towels when we first arrived, and had to get them at the desk. There were numerous written policies at the front desk referencing consequences for noise, fights, or even arrests, which made us wonder what kinds of things went on routinely. Your deposit would be forfeit if you took food from the breakfast buffet to your room. And actually, the buffet was pretty bad. We arrived on a Tuesday and the hotel seemed almost empty, and was of course, quiet. When we mentioned that we were there for a family reunion, we were invited to use the breakfast room as a space that we could use to hang out in, which was nice, as there were 9 of us. The staff did seem friendly, and as if they were trying anyway. On another good note, the bed was comfortable (although I've never seen such tiny pillows) and the tub was not slippery, which is a plus. On Friday, the hotel seemed to fill up and we observed food and people coming in for a child's birthday party and judging by the amount of cupcakes, seemed as if it might be large. However, we were not disturbed by any noise. Overall, it didn't really dampen our stay, but we would not choose this place again.

Odd smell in room, odd smeary places on the walls in the bathroom, strange to be put in a room with an undesired and apparently not functioning jacuzzi, large room but easy chair was smashed into the corner between a bedside table and the wall, bath towels were chintzy and small.

Bed is not comfortable

I reserved a king room but when checking in, they didn’t have any available so I ended up with double queen - not the end of the world. The bathroom was nice and clean. Not a fan of the carpet, as it felt a little wet/dirty. The beds and pillows were okay. The elevator broke on the second day so that was inconvenient. I understand things happen so I am not holding that against them. Overall it was an average stay.

We stayed here with a large group for a wedding. We asked to be placed on the same floor as a member of our party was a single woman and the hotel clerk deliberately put us on different floors and opposite ends of the hotel. Needs a major update. Our A/C unit was so noisy we hardly got any sleep.

Having the door in your room that connects to the other room is very disturbing when you have kids or families in the room nextdoor. Can become very loud when its just a couple enjoying a weekend away.

Very run down hotel. Our beds were worn,the desk chair and air condition cover was broken. The sheets were worn out.Elevator was broken. No coffee at check in. Breakfast was very limited in selections.

Unfortunately, families came in late and we’re very noisy. Their kids were screaming and running up and down the hall and the staff did nothing about it.

When we arrived Dana working the front desk was yelling at guests for asking for extra towels. The lobby smelled like skunk and cigarettes and did nothing but get worse each floor you go up on. Dana was so rude and intense when we checked in it made me thoroughly uncomfortable. When I got to my room the toilet was pre-clogged and when I asked the house keeper for a plunger she told me to ask the front desk. When I asked the front desk for a plunger they told me to ask the house keeper. After some time some random guy came in and started plunging the toilet but couldn’t get it so a second guy came in, used our ottoman to prop open the door so everybody walking by our room could see into our room and what was going on, and after 10 mins still could not get it unclogged. We decided to pack up and leave because we asked to be switched to a different room and were told to wait for them to fix the toilet instead. When we went downstairs to check out after being told that, Dana at the front desk told us that there was absolutely no way she could give us a refund and she did everything she was trained to do so call tomorrow and ask for the manager to get a refund - basically don’t let the door hit you on the way out. I have never been treated like this as a human in my life … the whole hotel is outdated and disgusting, don’t ever stay here. And heaven forbid you want more than one towel per room!

I checked in on Tuesday, March 12 and on Thursday morning I requested my room to be cleaned. it was not. On Friday morning I once again requested my room to be cleaned, it was not. On Friday evening I once again requested my room to be cleaned, I was given fresh towels and was promised it would be cleaned. Saturday morning as I was leaving for the day, I saw housekeeping down the hall and was SURE my room would be finally cleaned. When I returned Saturday evening my room STILL had not been cleaned and was in the same condition I had left it in the morning. Since each of the desk clerks had written down my room number and promised it would be cleaned, I was extremely disappointed with the service I had been given. My check out date was the 19th so I was committed until then or else I would have left. I had expected much better from this hotel as it is a Radisson

Great hotel to stay at while visiting the Detroit area. Kenyatta at the front desk is absolutely amazing. She really goes above and beyond to make her guests feel like family. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again when in the Detroit area!

Problem with noise above room 103 for 3 nights. First night the receptionist ignored our request. Second night the issue was not solved until Amir relocated the family in 203 to another room. Lady reception let coffee cream run out, would not get more even though new arrivals were coming in. Finally our room was not cleaned during out 5 day stay

It was decent could’ve been better. Got there they checked me into a room that already had someone in it and when I told them they said it was housekeeping and it wasn’t it was other guest. Then checked me into another room that had no tv. Besides that the stay was ok

Close to Detroit Airport and outside the downtown Detroit and easy parking if you car rental from Detroit Airport.

Quiet and easy to get to. Not far from downtown either. Breakfast is good as well. I would definitely recommend

Breakfast was terrible no protein except peanut butter. We got to breakfast at 815 and everything was empty. The next morning I got up early and went to breakfast and found workers staying there cleaning out the food. She should have only put out so much until they left so other customers would have something to eat later. not happy! I would advise eating elsewhere or bringing your own food it your want something healthy as they do have fridges in the room. so sad that you pay all this money and only get your room cleaned every 3rd day.

Staff was friendly, room was very clean. Pool was a little cold, but still nice. Breakfast had lots of choices and tasty.

The “delivery food service” was a joke! Super expensive, unprofessional, unkempt looking delivery person and SLOW!! Towels are short and only 2 in the room excluding towels for pool. Breakfast was bare looking and unappealing. Will not return

Nice hotel for the price. Breakfast was included and they had decent options. The hotel is located in a nice area with lots of restaurants. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend.

Breakfast needs improvement

Our bathroom had no body wash, it had shampoo, conditioner and lotion. It smelled very musky and mildewy in the restroom. Door stays ajar unless you really push on it. And the breakfast was very poor, very little options. No fruit, and a lot was out of food. This was not one of the better hotels and we love staying with Country Inn and suites most of the time.

The room was nice and clean. The check in was ok, there was one person doing it and there was 6 people trying to check in at the same time. Breakfast needs to be better choices and better varieties.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast great.
