Great hotel on the sea. Wonderful views, beautiful swimming in the sea, breakfast excellent. Restaurants were very good. Brilliant walks along the rocks and beaches of the waterfront.

Whilst the location is 5 star, the service most certainly is not: - Lack of attentiveness at check-in (no assistance with luggage), at breakfast service (had to flag down waiter on two days to get coffee), at lunch service (wrong order) - Impeachment of guest privacy / safety - twice staff walked into my room without my knowledge, one time catching me undressed - They asked me to change rooms due to a faulty mini bar but did not offer to pack my things or carry my luggage to new room - The door key needed resetting every day of my stay - No assistance with luggage when leaving the hotel Les Roches Rouges is a beautiful hotel but if you are discerning about receiving great service, you should think twice about staying.

The location and facilities were absolutely wonderful but the service was some of the worst I’ve seen at a luxury property. Upon arrival we were told by three different employees our room would be ready shortly on multiple occasions and that they were asking the cleaning team to “double rush” our room. Ultimately, the room was not available until 45 minutes after the official check in time. Then when we got to our room we wanted to take a shower as we had a long travel day including a red eye flight. Our room had no towels and we had to ask 3 different times for the staff to bring towels to our room. Additionally, our suitcases were not brought to our room until 2 hours after we were in the room. When our suitcases were brought down it was discovered the staff had lost one of our suitcases. They then figured out they left the suitcase in the vehicle during the valet process. Their response was “at least we did not lose it.”Not exactly 5 star service. The property had an expansion in June 2025 (stay was in May 2026) and it felt clear they still had not recovered from the increased guest activity. No chairs available at the pool or beach on day 1. The workers felt incredibly confused and overwhelmed and it was clear there was no manager on site with any authority. Each step along the way it felt as if the hotel staff did not want to go the “real” manager to explain the situation and take accountability or make it right. The price reflects luxury but the service is lackluster.

Stayed 2 nights

The staff was very pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel. We enjoyed the 2 pools and proximity to a beach for a swim and taking out a kayak. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
