Online check in was awkward with reception closing early and having to complete it on the street outside the hotel in order to open the hotel entrance. Room had not been adequately hoovered. Otherwise was very good value for the money.

Only german on website, a lot of codes to get access to room/hotel after 14.30. Did NOT mention that there are TWO doors, and that you must press the v-butten after entering code. No help on the phone, the person answering did not speak any english. And did not pick up phone on 2.,3.,4.,5.’th call. Used 30+ minutes to get in.

For those who are not familiar or just see the main page 'staff available from 9 AM to 9 PM', make sure you know that there are no staff available at any time on weekends. Then you get an email in German at 3 PM on the day of check in, with instructions to enter lots and lots of information (much fun if you're standing on the street in front of the building). There is an intercom with a remote staff that eventually stopped answering. And room faces a busy street with loud traffic and pedestrian noise from the restaurants and bars.
