Convenient Athens hotel. Close to public transport and walking distance to restaurants and many other amenities. Rooms are standard and spotless - very clean. Lifts are small though. Breakfast is awesome! Staff are lovely and very helpful.

My go-to hotel in Athens for each visit there since 2017. Close to the subway line from/to the airport, midway between Megaro Moussikis and Ambelokipi stations. The hotel is a little closer to the latter, but Megaro Moussikis is better if you have luggage (smoother sidewalks and a straight shot up Vas. Sofias street to hotel). Friendly and helpful staff gave me my room almost three hours before the official check-in time yesterday. Rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with quiet & effective air-conditioning. Each room has a bathtub, I think. Windows must have multiple glazing, since one hardly hears the roar of Vas. Sofias street below. Very fine breakfast buffet, far better than average for Greece. The in-house restaurant also serves very tasty and interesting food at a good price. All in all, it's excellent value for money, and I will certainly return next year!

This hotel was the one recommended by the organisers of the World Alliance for Arts Education Summit, October 17-19, 2024. The location worked for the conference. There was a convenient nearby Metro. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were filling and consistent. The on site cafe provided excellent food and service. The area surrounding had a variety of possibilities for food. The Martini Bakery was an excellent find. Overall I was satisfied with this option.

I had a great stay. Everything was perfect to my tastes. The staff was congenial and attentive. My room was one of the cheaper spaces so it was smallish but just right for my needs. The complimentary morning buffet was unusually good, and the nieghborhood was very nice... nothing could have been more to my liking. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars on the top line was that it isn't really what I think most people would think of as a 5 star facility. It is more like a 4 star facility that does really great work. I'm happy I stayed there and completely recommend the place

Pdj complet avec du vrai jus d' orange servi à table. Pas de chocolat toutefois ! Bien situé a 10 mn du métro qui donne un accès direct à l aéroport et connexion facile pour l acropole. TB séjour pour découvrir Athènes. Resto atora bien. Bus touristique a faire. Forfait métro 3 jours intéressant avec a/r aéroport 22€/personne. Je recommande cet hôtel

Well situated within 10 min walk of metro accessing old city. Staff was excellent. Great breakfast. Hotel needs a little renovation, especially carpeting in hallways. Street is noisy and traffic can be heard in rooms unless you are in back or high floors.

I gave 5 stars even though it is an old hotel, and there really is no view whatsoever from my room. Other than that I must say that everything was exceptional! The staff were cordial, the room was spotless, and the breakfast buffet was first class! I will certainly be staying there again.

전 별로 추천하고 싶지 않아요.7박 투숙인데, 첫날만 물을 주고 다른날은 물을 안줍답니다.조식이 7일내 똑 같아요. 청소 요청했는데, 수건만 걷어가고 새수건을 놓지 않앟어요. 변기 물 잘 안내려가요. 큰볼일 본후 몇번을 내려야 했어요. 싱글두개 있는방 화장실 너무 좁아요.. 씻기도 불편하고.다른타입은 모르겠지만... 먼곳까지 가서 숙소 맘에 안들어 히므를었어요. 청결하고 깨끗하기는 한것 같아요...

The Athinais Hotel was excellent. As a solo traveller the room was very spacious for one person. Breakfast was also excellent. Location to two public metro stations (7 min each way) was also very convenient coupled with the 5 day metro pass you can get for 8.50 Euro. A great place to stay to explore the city from if you are comfortable with using public transit and want to be removed a bit from the wall to wall people of Syntagma Square. The area around the Athinais hotel was a bit narrow with tons of cars parked so having to walk on the roads behind the hotel had to happen (also there was a lot of graffiti but thats more of an Athens thing) but there were plenty of amazing restaurants right around its location. Overall the hotel was amazing and i would highly reccomend staying here. I know I will be next time I find myself in Athens.

Best breakfast buffet in Athens (and I've been going to Greece for almost 40 years now). On a very busy street, but all the rooms have good soundproofing and are quiet. A/C works well. Very friendly and helpful staff. My go-to hotel in Athens since 2017.

Very very noisy. And for five days we had NOInternet. We have version which is a top provider from us they have Nova and they could not get it working. I believe it is a cannon thing there. They know it doesn’t work for some providers. They all have to tra phone or booster etc. Next door hotel no problem so we would not stay here ever again.

This hotel was the one recommended by the organisers of the World Alliance for Arts Education Summit, October 17-19, 2024. The location worked for the conference. There was a convenient nearby Metro. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were filling and consistent. The on site cafe provided excellent food and service. The area surrounding had a variety of possibilities for food. The Martini Bakery was an excellent find. Overall I was satisfied with this option.

The Athinais Hotel was excellent. As a solo traveller the room was very spacious for one person. Breakfast was also excellent. Location to two public metro stations (7 min each way) was also very convenient coupled with the 5 day metro pass you can get for 8.50 Euro. A great place to stay to explore the city from if you are comfortable with using public transit and want to be removed a bit from the wall to wall people of Syntagma Square. The area around the Athinais hotel was a bit narrow with tons of cars parked so having to walk on the roads behind the hotel had to happen (also there was a lot of graffiti but thats more of an Athens thing) but there were plenty of amazing restaurants right around its location. Overall the hotel was amazing and i would highly reccomend staying here. I know I will be next time I find myself in Athens.

I pass through Athens regularly for work and like staying at the Athinais. It’s right on the Metro line to the airport, in a busy and safe area. It’s only 2 metro stops from Syntagma and 3 stops from Monastiraki (Plaka), so you’re out of the most crowded tourist areas but still can reach them quickly. Best breakfast buffet in Athens (and I've been going to Greece for almost 40 years now). On a very busy street, but all the rooms have good soundproofing and are quiet. A/C works well. Very friendly and helpful staff. My go-to hotel in Athens since 2017.

I gave 5 stars even though it is an old hotel, and there really is no view whatsoever from my room. Other than that I must say that everything was exceptional! The staff were cordial, the room was spotless, and the breakfast buffet was first class! I will certainly be staying there again.

This may be out of the hotel’s control, but the taxi fare to the airport was the same as at the hotel I stayed on a few weeks before that was 15 minutes further away from the airport and right by the winding streets of Old Athens. The breakfast is excellent, but doesn’t open until 7:00 am. The alternate boxed breakfast was unsatisfactory, white bread and 2 slices of sandwich meat, and an apple and an egg all wrapped individually in plastic compared to the fresh fruit and fresh feta and much more at the regular included breakfast.
