Our 2nd year at this beautiful hotel. Stayed for 10 nights. Spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfasts. Quiet. Absolutely stunning views from the terrace across the mountains especially at night for the sunset. Delicious evening meals and some evenings have entertainment. My only negative comment is the red sensor light above the bed which flashes when you move. We did not have this problem last year but were told all the rooms have this. Maybe the sensor was on the other side of the room last year. Caused disturbed nights. Otherwise perfect. You do need a car if you choose to stay here.

This experience was a bit mixed. Ranging from excellent to dreadful. Breakfast; Excellent - the quality of the food was very good. Dreadful - tables were left with used plates, bowls and cutlery, dirty tables. People had to migrate into an area set up for lunch as so many tables hadn't been cleared. The room; The excellent - a really large bright room, nicely furnished. The cleaning staff were very friendly. Unfortunately - dreadful - human waste on the toilet wall!! The gym; Excellent gym is really well equipped. But - no towels for hotel guests - unless you rent one. This was a surprise as having stayed in many hotels with gyms it is normal practice to provide guests with a towel for gym use free of charge. The pool; The excellent - a real quality pool, designed with a swimmer in mind. The hotel staff; The excellent - upon arrival, I think it was Rebecca, the process and her attention to detail was very good. Reception staff were generally very good. The waiting staff at breakfast appeared to be really demotivated. The hotel is in a great location with good parking.

Mixed experience – Great potential but major communication and comfort issues The hotel itself is quite nice, but our stay was covered by poor communication and several frustrating service failures. First, there was a language barrier with the Spanish-speaking service staff, which led to a serious issue: my pregnant wife was served raw beef. It took an additional hour just to get her correct order. Furthermore, our air conditioning was broken, leaving us in a 27°C room for two nights. The only person who tried to help was the new head of reception, but the only compensation offered was a late checkout on our departure day, which didn't make up for the sleepless nights. To top it off, our room cards stopped working, and due to a lack of understanding from the receptionist, I had to walk up and down three times before it was finally fixed. The property has good vibes but the management needs to improve staff training and maintenance.
