The Westin Dallas Southlake

Our car was vandalized, and the hotel did not want to hear about our issue. We filed a police report. The property has no camera's outside, and they told us it was so they wouldn't be held liable for any issues. If you value your property do not stay here1

We were there Saturday and Sunday no valet no bell man service elevator were not working only had 1 of the 3 elevators functioning

Didn’t like the availability of parking. Especially since the signs say park at your own risk. For the money someone should be watching the parking lot

Trip was great. I appreciate the early check-in. The fitness center was great. Elevator was a little sus, but everything else was good.

Stayed the night at the hotel for a small get away. Plenty of activities to do while your there like chess, swim, and cornhole.

Great place to stay for the weekend to go shopping. Nice gym with Matrix equipment, a peloton, kettlebells, Trx, cable machine, and free weights. The gym was very clean and so were the rooms. The bed and mattress were perfect! So comfy! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were attentive and helpful. Truly appreciate the effort to bring health and mindfulness aa step

We had a great weekend at the Westin! Loved the amenities and location. My favorite is that we could fill our water cups with ice water and love the toiletries with the classic Westin scent!

Needed a place to stay while visiting the area for a track meet. The hotel was perfect- check in was impeccable. Hotel was clean, comfortable and stylish. The gym is well equipped and the pool is a nice perk. Room was serene and quiet. We will stay here again when we return to the area.

We love staying at this Weston. Everything is perfect. The only thing we would like to add is a Valet Parking. There was Valet parking for the events at the hotel, but not the guests staying overnight.

The shower did not drain well. Shower towel has a big brown stain on it. Last time we stayed here the show was a beautiful glass shower with no issues. This was a tub with curtain and water didn’t drain well.

I get Cockroachs in my bed and i told the stuff in reception about it they answer ok tomorrow we gonna clean it and am staying for one night , the white girl on the desk reception is so mean and rude person , i left the hotel and i get another one😓 never comeback again to this terrible hotel .

Onsite 4 star quality restaurant. Very few stains compared to most places. Found a few hairs but I’ve seen much worse. Used the gym but didn’t swim or play the outdoors games. Looks much nicer than the other one just a few miles down the road. Even lights up at night.

It was great! Only complaint the A/C DID NOT GET ABOUVE 72. So, it was a little too warm for us.

The Ac in the room did not work and hot. Door to the restroom came off the hinge. Very pretty hotel that should not have these issues.

Unfortunately the ac could not keep the room cool enough for us to sleep so we left. When brought to the attention of the staff we only received an apology. This is the 3rd Marriott property we have been in recently with AC problems.

Love Southlake lots to do. Hotel an great location. Pool is fabulous. Water pressure was horrible in the shower. And room could be cooler.

When we stayed the internal restaurant was closed due to staff shortage even though there were 3 people standing around in the bar for 2 hours doing nothing. Hotel is on east side of expressway and can only be accessed coming north - so if you come from the north to the south you have to go 3 miles around. Other than that it’s well designed, modern and has. Wet comfy beds.

Very nice grounds! First time visiting and during check-in I didn’t get any information/services about the hotel. Just the keys and a water. I had to ask about the gym etc. The room for the most part was clean, just a few hairs in the restroom. There were events both nights of my weekend stay and the guest above me puked abruptly on and off from 11-1am and we could not sleep at all. The walls/hallways are so thin you can hear everything so next time I’ll have to bring headphones. Due to the events, it was no parking for the guests but thankfully there’s additional covered parking available. Room service came so late, I left the room that morning and went to the gym(which is very nice) and they came around 2pm. Unfortunately with the two cleaning ladies encounters (one in the gym and one for room service) I had, neither one of them spoke English so I couldn’t tell room service to come back in a hour or so as I just layed my son down for a nap so I called the front desk and asked them for a hour but she came back in 10 minutes. I just let her in at that point. It was an eventful stay but I would consider going back.

The worst internet and wifi, would drop and cut out all the time.

Stay 3rd-5th 2024. Best customer service that we’ve experienced from any hotel in quite sometime. It started with my wife making a phone call asking about 4th of July activities in Southlake. Jay (MGR) took her call and questions and was incredibly helpful. Sakinah booked right away. When we arrived Bill, the concierge was helpful. The rooms are very nice and extremely clean. My family and friends call my wife “Monk”. She has a background in medical & microbiology and she’s studied and can visualize what’s on most all surfaces. In addition,the decor is comfy+ hotel had the remote which according to studies and my wife can be the filthious item in a hotel room encased in a plastic cover! We’ve traveled and stayed in high end hotels in the USA, Asia, Europe. Let me tell you, this one thing is attention to detail! The food was delicious and the service was ok.The lounge area outside separate from the pool was shaded and cool.The pool was kept sparkling clean and the kids there were well behaved and the adults enjoying the pool were respectful of other visitors in regards to noise and sharing the space. Overall, the our stay was relaxing. My wife was able to work on her book & tasks away from her office and wellness clinic. We considered this work/staycation close to home. Nice unobstructed views too. I could zip to my office and let her work and relax and return later. Congrats to Marwan! Team members Jay, Kyra and Bill provided great service! We highly recommend this hotel.

Mess up my foood order. One staff at then food court area , a Hispanic lady, was quite rude. Nice facility but, will patronize another hotel

The Desk clerk was the nicest, personable, friendliest that I've had the pleasure to deal with. All the staff was attentive to my needs. I will be returning again for my next stay cation.

For example, ordered room service and the person that took the order totally forgot to enter it in. 2 hours later we got our toast and OJ. Seems they still have not found the right management mix. Other than that, this is a really nice property.

The property is beautiful and seems well kept. The front desk staff is excellent. The breakfast crew wasn't well managed. I wasn't sure there was a manager on duty to help guide them to fill water and coffee cups and buss tables. The hostess could've done this if waiters were busy. Several times staff was standing around when people needed their orders taken or bill delivered.

Beautiful hotel! Patricia, the front desk clerk was very welcoming, friendly, & professional. The check-in process was super quick and convenient. I really enjoyed Chi, the bartender at Curve, the bar located inside the property. Chi was so personable and made me feel like I was right at home. She was very attentive and knowledgeable of all the specialty cocktails & also informed me of all the amenities The Westin Dallas Southlake property offers. I’m super impressed and super pleased with my choice to stay at the property. I definitely will stay at The Westin Dallas Southlake anytime I’m flying out of the DFW International Airport. I rate this property 5 stars ⭐️ and a 10 out of 10 rating.

Booked two rooms ahead, one for my wife ans me, and the other for two granddaughters ages 11 and 14 and their aging aunt. When we arrived, were asked if it would be okay if the rooms were on separate floors. Of course I said no. Then, after staring at her computer screen for a couple of minutes, she said they could get us on the same floor but not close together. I had no choice to accept even this was not what we paid for while booking. Then I got another surprise when we got off the elevator on our floor. The two rooms were, literally, on opposite sides of the building! As far away from the elevators as you could get, in both directions! I asked why the rooms were not placed next to each other since we booked them as a family and I just got a blank look. I asked her if she understood that I had young granddaughters and an old lady in one room and got another blank look. This is why they shouldn’t hire kids to work the front desk. We will NEVER go back there again.

The hotel was very nice and our room was very clean and most of the staff were very welcoming and nice. The morning we were leaving the cleaning staff entered our room twice while we were still getting ready to check out. The first time was early and there was a light tap on the door so we hesitated not knowing if it was our room or next door, with the next tap my husband started towards the door as the worker opened it to enter. She apologized. About 9 a.m. it happened again. We finally put the do not disturb sign out. The other issue was our server at their restaurant for breakfast. He ignired us and 2 other couples. All of us had to ask for the most basic things....more water, refill on coffee AND we had to remind him we had not received our food even though we placed our order before the other big groups that have all been served. He apologized, and a went to get our food, even though that took more time than it should. The other 2 couples were waiting as well. Just a couple of really poor experiences at an overall nice hotel.

Stayed during a winter storm, staff was exhausted but tried to be accommodating. Reception at front desk was not very inviting.

Beautiful hotel, easy to get to conference area. A little noisy as close to the highway.

Just missing the FREE breakfast. $20 for their continental breakfast was a pass.

The rooms are very nice and spacious and quiet. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the fire alarm went off with a message stating to leave room immediately and go outside. When we got down to the lobby the staff said they were just testing the alarm. This was quite disruptive and there should have been a message on the intercom stating it was only a test.

Nice and clean place to stay with easy parking options. Just not soundproof. Otherwise, very nice hotel with restaurant options include pool and hang out area.

I paid extra for breakfast when I paid for hotel on app yet when my guests went to stay thet were not u formed of the difference between a prepaid buffet and dining service. So my guests ended up adding breakfast service (an additional $85). The the extra I already paid was never used! I believe is was 15-18 per guest that I paid. I would like a refund for the lack of communication at the fro t desk.

The staff was awesome! Very responsive to my questions and needs. The bartenders in the lounge took good care of us and gave me great information about things to do in the area.
