Ideal location for our visit, onsite parking available although the car park can be a bit tricky on the loose stones. The room was fine as were the service and the staff.

Lovely hotel spread across a number of buildings near the seafront. Easily walkable to the beach. The rooms were lovely and the food in the restaurant was excellent

After I’d booked the accommodation on a non cancellable basis I realised that parking was available for free if you were happy to park on narrow streets or £15 if you parked on a secure car park . When I arrived I was concerned about the safety of the area when I was met by an extremely drunk man that staff members were trying to remove. I therefore agreed to pay the £10 fee to park on one of the drives of the properties forming part of the complex. I have a large saloon car and I struggled to get the car into a space . So I would say if you have a large car that you are concerned for then the £15 parking is a better option but I feel that the charge should be transparent when booking. The hotel upgraded me to an executive room which was lovely but I was concerned about the security as there’s a central reception desk but no way of policing who had access to the house I was in . There is an electronic door opening system and the same key was used for both main door and bedroom . I may of course have felt differently if I’d not seen the drunk man outside the hotel .

We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. Quality meat we got to enjoy breakfast outside twice as the weather was beautiful! We shared a pizza one night along with some chips (we both agreed, that the chips were the nicest we’d ever tried)! Location wise, excellent! Short walk into town and about 1.5 miles from Gunwharf Quays, which was lovely to walk around. Staff were lovely, very welcoming, polite and very knowledgeable of the area! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at Stattons for one night. We arrived early Wed afternoon and easily found an on street parking space. When we checked in, we were given a permit to display in the car. Stattons was a minutes walk from Reception. Our room was upstairs. It wasn't a large room but had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. Breakfast was served in the Reception building. The food was served to our table and was of good quality and well presented. Evening meals were also available. The staff we met were all very polite, friendly, accommodating and professional.

The hotel had only just opened from being reserved and it was lovely. When we arrived the receptionist kim was very friendly and helpful and told us we had been upgraded. The room was very big with a lovely modern bathroom.We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. I had also already booked another stay in another hotel in the same road for June, which turned out to be the part of the same hotel and where we stayed. They aso own the pub opposite which had been redecorated recently and the staff there were very friendly too. would highly recommend this hotel and it's only a 10 minute walk from the theatre which we visited last night and will again in June.

This boutique hotel locates right in front of the ocean park, 3-4 mins walk to the beach. Actually it's surrounded by “Florence Suite, Florence House Boutique, Somerset House Boutique hotels”, they are managed by the same group. I enjoyed the service, cleanness and the super breakfast of the hotel, but the amenities still needed improvement. Such as bigger washstands, shower available in every room. In general, a lovely hotel with great service, would come back again.

Nice room but no air cond and room was a bit damp. Nice towl warmer but didn’t work… unless there was another switch somewhere else in the main room that was supposed to connect to it… there was no way to know what switch went to it because there was no switchclose to the towel warmer.

Such a beautiful and luxurious hotel, we had a wonderful stay! The rooms are very clean, shower is nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the decor in the room was very tasteful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious and they have such a great choice of food on the menu, wonderful vegan choices in particular!

Efficient check in, brilliant breakfast, lovely room (could do with different blinds/windows as it was hot and the blinds stopped the breeze coming in). Main bed was fine the trundle beds mattresses were very soft were ok for one night though.?

Stayed here with our family of 4, the room was amazing! It is more of a B and B than we normally book, so I was worried about our kids being too loud. I would absolutely go back with my husband, though! Cute town, and so close to the beach. Communication wasn’t always quick, but not sure if that’s because I used the Expedia app?! All in all would stay there again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. Quality meat we got to enjoy breakfast outside twice as the weather was beautiful! We shared a pizza one night along with some chips (we both agreed, that the chips were the nicest we’d ever tried)! Location wise, excellent! Short walk into town and about 1.5 miles from Gunwharf Quays, which was lovely to walk around. Staff were lovely, very welcoming, polite and very knowledgeable of the area! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at Stattons for one night. We arrived early Wed afternoon and easily found an on street parking space. When we checked in, we were given a permit to display in the car. Stattons was a minutes walk from Reception. Our room was upstairs. It wasn't a large room but had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. Breakfast was served in the Reception building. The food was served to our table and was of good quality and well presented. Evening meals were also available. The staff we met were all very polite, friendly, accommodating and professional.

The hotel had only just opened from being reserved and it was lovely. When we arrived the receptionist kim was very friendly and helpful and told us we had been upgraded. The room was very big with a lovely modern bathroom.We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. I had also already booked another stay in another hotel in the same road for June, which turned out to be the part of the same hotel and where we stayed. They aso own the pub opposite which had been redecorated recently and the staff there were very friendly too. would highly recommend this hotel and it's only a 10 minute walk from the theatre which we visited last night and will again in June.

This boutique hotel locates right in front of the ocean park, 3-4 mins walk to the beach. Actually it's surrounded by “Florence Suite, Florence House Boutique, Somerset House Boutique hotels”, they are managed by the same group. I enjoyed the service, cleanness and the super breakfast of the hotel, but the amenities still needed improvement. Such as bigger washstands, shower available in every room. In general, a lovely hotel with great service, would come back again.

Very disappointed with this "4* luxury boutique" hotel. The room was quite small for the amount of furniture it contained, the desk/dressing table was too far from daylight and obstructed access to the wardrobe, and the blinds were ineffective in keeping out the early morning light at 4am. Although the shower cubicle was large, it had no shelf or caddy for toiletries, was rather grubby, and its size left little space in the shower room for drying oneself. The towel rail had been switched off at an isolator, and there was no indication as to where the switch might be. The room itself was cold, due to inclement weather so, on questioning this, we were told by a receptionist that they would switch it on for us! We had to request this again on the second day. The emailed check-in reminders directed us to Florence House, on Florence Road (a short walk away) but, when a street map was sent to confirm this, it named Malvern Road – somewhat confusing in an unfamiliar area, especially in the rain! This was also where the hit-and-miss breakfast was served – the first morning there was a very limited buffet, but on the second day, there was a full menu and table service. We won’t be staying again.

Stations was a fantastic hotel with easy access to Southsea front and Portsmouth. The staff were very accommodating l, the room was lovely and the food was excellent l, will definitely be booking again.

Location was great. Secure parking at a reasonable price. When we checked in they told us we'd been upgraded to a more modern room in a different building. The room was really nice, clean, comfortable and a good size ensuite but noise was an issue. The building we were in is a converted house so we could hear everything from the room above us including kids stamping and running around and shouting. Reception did call the room and ask them to be respectful of other guests though. We were also directly opposite a pub which had loud music and drunk people shouting and jeering until around 1am and that wasn't fun. The room was very warm with no air con or fan so we had to open a window making the choice between noise or sweating. I wouldn't have chosen a hotel opposite a pub so it turned out to be not so much of an upgrade. We wouldn't stay here again
