Kimon Hotel Athens

The Kimon Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Plaka, with almost everything you want to see within easy walking distance. The property and our room were spotlessly clean. It’s a small, intimate hotel with just a handful of rooms, so don’t expect a large 5-star resort. Instead, we loved its authentic charm and the cozy, quaint atmosphere. George at the front desk was genuinely friendly and always quick to offer excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cuisine. We stayed on the third floor and enjoyed a lovely view of the Acropolis. The illuminated ruins at night were absolutely stunning from our balcony…a highlight of our stay. A couple of practical notes: There is no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. If you have heavy luggage, you can leave it at the front desk for the duration of your stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.
