It seems this property has been a Sleep Inn for about six weeks (since mid-August 2026). Prior to that it was a Howard Johnson. The property has undergone a decent facelift, and rooms are freshly painted and appointed (our group used 3 guest rooms). There was an open 'closet' space with hooks near the door and a narrow closet at the back of the room. There was a fridge and a microwave. Bathroom had no place to hang hand towel. Bath mirror was one with fog-free feature. Beds were relatively comfortable. VERY close to U of L campus, including the stadium.

Hotel is abandoned. Completely shutdown. Yet, hotels.com charged me for the room. I had to scour the area for an available room. Ended up 30 minutes south at a motel/traphouse for the night. Hotel.com sucks.

That hotel was closed & had been for a year. I had reserved a room & they took my money or someone did. We had to find another hotel & it cost me triple. I would like a refund of my $300. And there is a good chance I will not use Hotels. com again since you don’t update your website Darlene Cromer
