Easy to find, staff were super nice, received a free upgrade because we were staying only one night instead of two as all other travelers were so we received a suite, quiett, dates but clean, nice lobby/living room with free popcorn, good bed, clean sheets, frig and microwave in room, outlets and ports on each side of bed. Parking striping was HILARIOUS as the lines along the building are about half the normal length and space size varies so visually it looks absurd to see a vehicle parked with striping that ends just behind the door. Hubby said maybe it was discounted if you paid for half-size. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The room is disgusting. Smells like mold, spider webs all over, curtains and lamp shades are dirty. Tub is gross and needs replaced. Toilets is disgusting. Didn’t even shower in this hotel and left a night early. Multiple reviews state the same thing. DO NOT book a room here!!

The room was average and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was fine but the breakfast room is quite small and it’s hard to get to the area with the food. They would be smart to have the food area outside of the dining area.

This property was filthy. There was blood on the bathroom ceiling and on the pullout mattress. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke and weed combined. Sticky floor, stained couch cushions. Our family slept in our clothes on top of the sheets. We will never stay at a Quality Inn again. Front desk clerk was a gem and doing her best.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Although the room carpet looked nice and clean, going barefoot showed how dirty the carpet was with a lot of foot traffic. Recommend cleaning carpets periodically. Otherwise, I great place!

Beautifully maintained Quality Inn -- immaculate, quiet, convenient, safe. Lobby is warm and inviting, front desk staff welcoming and organized Room was large, well lit (a rarity these days!), comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Exquisitely clean! Breakfast was well presented and sufficient. Definitely would stay here again next trip to the UP and the charming town of Manistique,MI.

This property’s condition was fairly poor. All furnishings were out of date and air conditioner and bathroom fan were very loud and not usable. Someone set the alarm in a nearby room for 6 am and did not turn it off. The walls were paper thin. I’m not sure about condition of nearby hotels but it might be worthwhile to check them out. This property was more like a Motel 6 but not to that level. Breakfast was good with Scrambled eggs and cinimon waffles. Beds were comfortable.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I really appreciated the excellent condition of the bathroom. The chair in the room was actually large enough for 2 people. There was also room enough to have 2 suitcases and stands; most places only have 1 suitcase stand, so this was a definite plus. On the negative side was that our room was on the 1st floor about 5 doors down from the lobby, so it was a little noisy, and the motel is right next to US-2. However, Lake Michigan is right across the highway, which was a huge plus, as far as location. Dining options are a little limited, but for a really good UP pastie, they’re served freshly baked and ready to eat in Jacks Fresh Market (next to TSC)

We booked a standard king room and were given a king room with a jetted tub, which only had a hand held shower wand, no spot to put the hand held up to take a shower and no shower curtain. Inconvenient to say the least when you want to shower. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the thermostat didn’t work on the hvac unit. We’ve stayed here multiple times and have always been happy with our stay. This time not so much, especially for almost $300 for ONE night! The room we were in was BEYOND in need of basic repairs, cracked fiberglass tub, bathroom door and ceiling had damage, etc., and definitely needs an update. A shower would be better, I don’t think anyone uses those tubs in hotels, let alone one that old. And everyone definitely wants to take a shower. The staff was great as always! They are always friendly and the shuttle service is excellent! That is the reason we stay here, for easy convenient access to events.
